Well I guess Im just not into his voice then. As for your question I prefer a dubbed one, I need good quality of audio to enjoy and it doesnt have to be awfully overdubbed, Princess of Weiyoung is a great drama with dubbing done just right

Have you noticed the quality of audio is not very good in the first episodes?

Go back to episode 1, ML voice is REALLY low, and FL and some maids voices are very quiet and the quality of the sound is poor. Maybe I feel this way becasue I just came from watching a high budget drama but idk it’s really throwing me off the drama, I’ll try a few more eps to see if the plot is worth it

I’m on episode 2 and i feel like there’s something wrong with the audio/dubbing, some voices are awful especially the main lead... and the fl intonations also throw me off.
Does it get any better quality wise?

This drama holds a special place for me, not long after I watched this drama I met a man, and somehow this man and this drama have something in common. The sychronizations are real.

Well not quite exactly, I dont know how to explain it because the plot is very complex with parallel universes included, but nevertheless the ending is a happy and good one.

The dude from the Bear army, he died because of his stupidity and greed for power, but initially he wasnt an evil person

There were some "villain" deaths that I was actually quite sad for, because even though they were villains in Changge story, from their point of life and perspectives, Changge mightve been the villain.

Why do I feel like gatekeeping the original Taiwanese drama?
It was such a masterpiece and I just know the remakes would ruin its magic and I wish they won’t film it! |:<

I like it, it deserves an higher rating for sure.
The problem with this drama is that it had so much potential and great plot and ideas that led to nothing, the ending was rushed to some unsatisfying answers.
But i was very glued to the drama and it wasnt boring at all'!
But still I feel unsatisfied, so many scenes, and answers that needed to be served to feel like this drama served an ending.
I feel like I ate an icecream and the tastiest part of the ice cream ( the chocolaty waffle ending) just fell off

Yeah thats exactly what I wrote, this drama is not perfect BUT its not trying to be some masterpiece.
People miss out that its a fun feel good kind of drama.
I almost missed out on it because of those comments, I chose to watch because the Alcohol prohibition plot really caught my eye.

I like how smart and brave the FL is, getting her own money instead of making that dude fall for her so she can be rich.
The humor is very funny to me too.

So far I like this drama alot.
Yes, its not perfect but it is not trying to be perfect, it has plenty of humor and some stuff dont make sense sometimes, but this is the unexpected charm about it.
Its ridiculous people complain about FL selling alcohol when this whole drama is about alcohol.
I know you want to see more romance but have you ever heard of slow burn romance? its only ep 8 what do you expect.

I actually find this to be one of the funniest historicals... I laugh every episode
