Yeah I understand that, but it doesnt seem like he really believed that old mans words... idk im confused. it does seem like he is gaining a new purpose but maybe I thought too highly of him, his purpose to become a great mage is always about and for other people rather than himself. But its fine I guess it gives you a more realistic approach to him rather than a 'willpowered hero' ,I just expected something else, kinda like how powerful Nuksu got.

I thought his desire was huge but it seems like it was just wishful thinking... unless he goes under some huge character development.
This drama really reminds me of Chinese wuxia dramas, really. I’m so excited to watch it, currently at ep 1 and I really like historicals with wuxia/fighting elements. Seems like it’s going to be one of my faves.
I just love how we are all equally obsessed with with this drama and with the ML..there are so little watchers in MDL and such a low rating... this feels illegal when this drama is that good 😭
The tea competition in ep 17 was so gracefully beautiful... amazing sound track and cinematography <3 I also liked how good sports everyone was by the end, not holding any grudges etc etc
Guys am I the only one that thinks that our MLs voice changes all the time? eps 1-10 he had one voice, then another voice, then again the original voice and now in ep 17 his voice is different again... Am I imagining it?
Yalll this noble man that always picks up fights with our FL over nothing is so hilarious I cant even with him.... his scene in ep 17 coming to confront her with bunch of stick men... his face expressions......xD

Heyyy I think I saw your comments under other drama commentsection? maybe it was TLB or WRTW ? either way I recommend this drama so much! the chemistry between the main leads is overflowing and im sorry to TLB ,even more than the couple in TLB :( although the dramas are differnt in their beauty so its difficult to really compare.. but the ML here is not a joke.... he makes my heart flutter continuesly for 14 episodes...
