My heart feels heavy, everything is so beautiful and pure. Sang zhi and Duan Jiaxu are the greenest flags ever...the admiration, respect, integrity, honour they have for each other is what we want in life. Protect each other unconditionally. Isn't love just all this? Their actions towards each other are simple but hold so much weight.
One of the best novel adaptations. Best actors. It takes alot of skills to weave a story with such admirable characters. I really congratulate the team for this masterpiece.

I understand your preference, but if you notice or reached till this certain episode....Sang Zhi knows how to let go. When she misunderstood that Jiaxu has a gf, she feels bad but also moves on to her life goals and fulfills them rather than drowning in sorrow or hating him/herself for it. She doesn't actively think about him till she meets him again during her university days. The love and care she grew up with clearly reflects in her life choices and how she protects her loved ones. But I also think at her age its pretty common that her life revolves around someone she adores/loves. Also in the latest ep she is really working hard for what she wants while receiving the same love she gives. But yes, since this is a drama with such plot its inevitable that such scenes exist.
