Agreed, for me I feel likethese suffering/emotions can be conveyed in a better way as the screenplay feels rushed and trying to push the narrative down my throat. Like I get it, their ptsd is no joke but the connection feels weak as its glossed over too quickly. I get that its 38 eps with lots of story to tell but that's the job of the team

Its been a while since i saw a kdrama with clear cut plot and the respect towards it. No nonsense, good screenplay, directions and veey good actors

The aesthetic, pacing and all are good but im unable to root for the main leads together. I don't find or feel any connection towards them. So at the end im like idc lol

There's a split second scene in ep 1 pretty early on where his butt is shown (idk why) other than that no nudity

I watched till ep 6 and kinda kept it on hold and since all eps are out i only watch 11 and 12 lmao and I understood almost everything atleast with regards to main storyline. Last few mins was pleasant rest all is pretty mid. Good acting.

1st ep is all over the place but too early to judge so ill stick for 1 or 2 more eps

Agreed its a fair point but what i mean is i also see how they fell for each other through trauma bonding and i also think because they were together its more heartbreaking for DW and that resilient to bounce back.

Yes self realisation would always be great but also considering their ages it would inevitable to fall for each other as they share the same pain but in different ways so they bonded in that way in my opinion

Not a major spoiler because its in the trailer. I think them being apart for a bit is inevitable. Because Duan wu went through alot and learnt alot of things and she has to be Su Muzhe to an extent to be the Duan Wu she desires to be. A FREE INDIVIDUAL. Ofcourse its a repeated arc of misunderstanding/separation (trope) but I think in this drama its so important because lets be real without her being Su Muzhe (with the tribulations she went through and resolutions she decided on) it would be really hard for Duan Wu to open 'Clear Mind' with a "Clear Mind". Hope it makes sense.

There's misunderstanding but as far as I see it looks like it'll get cleared up in 4-5 episodes and its also the period where she becomes su muzhe so i think its quite important and pivotal.

Im sorry i can even get past the cringey comedy.. but the overlay of her crying while he's "observing" her is kinda funny lol idk how far his empathy can pierce through people

Its just a mediocre plot with alot of forced screenplay. The actors are good but all in all just mid nothing new or exciting as such

The screenplay and editing is definitely a choice. I liked how it played in some parts of it and cringed in some. So 2016/2017 style. But all in all pretty good and the issues are not that annoying yet.

Ok idk if its intentional or im missing context. The powder on cheng huang was little bit more i just couldn't ignore it 😭😂 but the cast is amazing but when there's a closeup that's too close in some scenes i can see the powder alot more lol

So excited the cinematography and color scheming in the trailer looks so amazing. Cant wait!!! Its getting the love it deserves.
