Beyond boring
This show is beyond boring. Female lead looks like shes 13 years older than male lead and has no chemistry with him at all. male lead is carying the whole show, side plots are boring so I'm fast forwarding 50%, of each episode. The FL starts off alright but gets boring after like 8 episodes always having the same shocked, confused look on her face in every scene, and never admitting her feelings, she acts like ML is her brother and its so wrong to be with him. It's not that deep. I literally frown evey time she comes on Screen now because she always acts the same in every scene and i can't stand it. I just want to see my man happy when she finally agrees to be with him but once that happens I'm dropping. Not to mention the brother of the FL has the same problem as her about loving someone but not admitting it and torturing himself not allowing himself to be with her...Was this review helpful to you?

One of my ALL TIME favorite kdramas. I feel like the writer is kind of a genius to come up with such a story. The last time i watched was probably a year ago so i need to rewatch but im just leaving this review for now and then ill update it with more details when its freshly watched and in my mind lol. Definately gove it a try and if youre not sucked in by the first episode then i dont knkw what to tell you. I always binge this because its so good!Was this review helpful to you?
Beautiful beyond words
There are no words to describe this drama. It was beautiful from start to end and showed that life isnt a fairytale,but they did get their happily ever after. Male actor carried the show, female was beautiful but was very cringe and awkward to watch on some scenes but it could have been the writers vision and he told her to act like that idk. I will most definately rewatch in the future though and i dont really re-watch shows. This show made me cry of happiness and fullfilled what a love story should really be like. One of my all time favorites
This show had me hooked from start to finish. Most dramas that are 40 episodes always have filler side plots and characters that I'm not really interested in and I end up fast-forwarding a lot of parts of the show, but I can honestly say that with this show I didn't have to fast forward anything and there were no boring plots,all the characters were interesting and the twists just kept me engaged until the very end. I only took off half a star because the love story aspect of the show did not really satisfy me, they had only one kiss in the whole show and it just wasnt giving "im so in love". I also took off half a star for the ending as well, because it just didn't seem that happy... I wish they had showed their life in the future, maybe getting married or something like that.I just felt like there wasn't enough happiness at the end of the show, they didnt even say goodbye to some of their friends which made NO SENSE. Another thing i didnt like was that he never learned ANY martial arts during those 10 years knowing he was planning a very dangerous revenge?? Take a shot every time they hug
Started off pretty well the just got too unbelievable. So you know there are murderers trying to kill your family and gf but you dont have a team of police officers stationed in their homes and around their jobs? Or atleast the male lead who was a police officer should have stayed and worked from home on the case to protect her. But nah they just kept getting attacked and dropping like flies. Thats so unbelievable and the amount of times the leads said each others names and stared into each others eyes blankly and hugged was so annoying. If you took a shot everytime they did that you would be hospitalized. Also the male lead was ok on some parts but his blank/brainless stare was really hard to watch. Idk if dude had plastic surgery on his nose but it was so distracting. I almost dropped it but didnt. Wouldnt reccommend.Was this review helpful to you?
Pretty boring
This drama is pretty boring. Just your average 5/10 asian drama. Im surprised this is a Chinese drama its nore along the same boring storyline as most korean dramas ive watched. The only reason im still watching is to see the 2 friends end up together. I love an age gap drama they are my favorites actually. But im fast forwarding a lot because there are so many pointless scenes. This should habe been shot in 12 episodes like they do on some kdrams lol.Was this review helpful to you?

Just finished watching it was a pretty average maybe slightlybelow average drama.male lead was handsome but not great at acting. Female lead was alright. Cliche storyline. I only watched for the age gap but they made the male lead like way too perfect. So hes a pilot,speed moto racer,inheritor of a huge company,anazing cook, plus the absolute perfect boyfriend?riiigghhhtt. Not really rewatchable. Would only reccommend for someone who loves age gap dramas and is bored with nothing else to watch lolWas this review helpful to you?
Amazing
I really loved this show. I've actually watched 2 times in a short period of time. The first few episodes were extremely cringe worthy with Lusi trying to act like a teenager. But actually the way that she was acting seemed more like a fifth grader or something. It was just really weird, but once you get to episode 8, where she's in college, it starts getting more. Interesting and less cringy and then it becomes a beautiful love story. Her voice in this show is reallt babyish and annoying though i will say that. Ive watched her in many other shows and i dont remember her talking like that.Was this review helpful to you?
Realistic show
I liked this show because it's not your average Happy-go-lucky k drama. I really connected with the 2 leads and how they had a bad life and were unlucky and stuff and on top of that, he turns out to have a terminal medical condition that causes him to die young now that is real life. There's usually not a happy ending in real life. Yes, I did cry a lot, but in its own way these types of shows are very beautiful. I would suggest everyone to watch it. The male lead has a beautiful smile and really lights up the screen.Was this review helpful to you?
Didnt like female lead
This show was great and the story line was great but the female lead was such a MISS. She was supposedly replacing the identity of a girl who was around 18 years old or so and yet somehow no one noticed she looked like she was in her THIRTIES??? how is that even possible? I watched for Wang Xing Yue and hes the only reason i kept watching. All of his scenes were captivating and although hes not strikingly handsome, the way he talks and his facial expressions give him a 10/10 his acting was off the charts! When he would say her name it was breathtaking! But she was just not a good fit for this role especially since they were trying to say she was so gorgeous even more beautiful than her younger sister who actually WAS gorgeous. Idk if the director was blind or what but nothing about her casting made sense. They needed to have chosen a 10 year younger actress to play this role. This and maybe one other drama ive watched have me so puzzled about why they chose the lead. Typically the casting is perfect on these dramas so i dont know where this went wrong. Good but not good enough
I watched for xu kai. He played this character so well and was so handsome but the female lead who plays a dude is like half the size of everyone else in the military and supposedly no one notices its a girl??? Come on man 🤣 also they had many useless side stories in this show and every other scene was filled with japanese dressed in all black getting shot. I mean is there just an unlimited amount of them in the area? And somehow even though they always get killed,the next time they dont send more to make sure they win the fight they still just send a handful of them 🤣 and having everyone fall in love with the female lead is so unrealistic,to be honest she looked better as a dude yet they had like 4 guys fall in love with her 🤣🤣🤣 HAHAHA anyway i really loved xu kai in this and the supporting male lead was cool too but if i ever hear this chick say "may-sure" one more time in that voice i will self destruct 🤣🤣Was this review helpful to you?
Its good but should have been fewer episodes
This show is a great show to get you started and hooked on chinese dramas, thats what happened for me. Its captivating and i love the characters and stories but there were some annoying points like the fact that the female lead starts off unstoppable and amazing then suddenly is always getting captured and weak. Not only that but there are tons of side stories that if i watch a second time i will fast forward through they honestly could have done this show with 10 less episodes. Going ok, nothing special
This is another drama. I might end up dropping. It's OK, nothing special is happening. It's kind of just following a predictable storyline that's been done over and over, but since only one episode comes out a week I'll probably keep watching the one episode. It was really good
I really liked this show. I love BJT so i try to support his dramas. The story line was very cool and his acting was great. The lead actress was okay too. I personally didnt like that they tried to add the humor on this show,like how he was joking with the murderer and trying to make light of the situation when he already knew the dude was a killer. I also personally would have liked to have swwn mire action and fighting scenes as thats the kind of show i thought it was going to be. Also there were just a few parts that didnt seem to add up,like how he survived that cardiac arrest at the end and how his girl made the cure so fast. But i would still rate the show a 9/10 im really glad they did only 16 episodes i think more chinese dramas should do this. When they have 30-40 episodes alot of the time they just drag the story and add too many filler parts and i jist find myself fast forwarding the extra bits.Was this review helpful to you?
Loved it
I am really a sucker for time travel shows and this show was no exception. I'm glad it was only 16 episodes And they did not drag on the story line or add useless side stories. This show had humor, romance, suspense and everything else you could really want in a show. I binged it in a 24 hour period.
