Regarding the original question, you have to remember this is Korea nad the film industry we're talking about. :\ Male lead characters are rarely going to be something like Gwang Soo's style.

The Taiwanese one is the highest quality and the Korean one is the original, so the nostalgia... I think the Japanese one was the weakest, but it's cute enough and it's short, so you should check it out if not solely for Jang Geun Suk (very hilarious) cameo!

I don't know if you could call them balanced, but Marriage Not Dating has a pretty strong second lead. Granted, he's still a second lead.

'chaja' makes me think of the word that means 'to look' so it would probably be misheard lmao
