I was enjoying the criticism against Goblin and curious for the next drops until I saw It's Okay That's Love (bc I was scared for my fav) lol. But your valid points and not too heavy criticism regarding the drama itself placated me lol. I love that drama, and though it does get heavy, the execution is what made it count for me <3 (On another note, I've always judged you for dropping IOTL, so now that I have your opinion, I don't feel as hostile towards your drama list LMAO. it's amazing what knowledge chan change :P)
On another note, I've seen BOTC, OMV, and SUFBB and while I enjoyed them, I do agree with your choice for dropping lol (Though since SUFBB is one of my earlier dramas I have an attachment to it)
About an average quality drama! But I really enjoyed it regardless of quality.
Han Jin Woo;s unique character is really what brings life to the drama, as well as the interesting cases on rare medical conditions. Typical episodic structure and lack of a strong over-arcing plot are its weaknesses, but it's OCN's style so what're you gonna do? :P
As expected lots of (Hate) comments or they don't really find it "Unique" Cause it's predictable.…
You tell people to "just shut up" if they have their own opinions regarding a drama...? Everyone has a right to voice what they thought of a drama, so you directly attacking others is straight up rude. It's not offensive, it's just disrespectful. Also, this isn't just a case of a drama being "predictable" or the watcher having "watched tons of dramas"--from a completely objective standpoint, Goblin has a lack of plot. Simple as that. Even with it's weak plot and intense filler, I rated it an 8 due to the great concept, cinematography, and acting. But because I found myself somewhat bored with all the filler, I can't voice my opinion?
Some people actually want an objective review on the good and bad qualities of a drama or any form of entertainment in order to make up their mind as to watch it or not. While Goblin may be perfect from one person's point of view, it can be lacking in a more critical light, which causes people more sensitive to higher quality writing to find filler and the like boring.
Also, just because something is rated 9.1 does not mean that it's perfect by any means. It means that it's popular and has some sort of aspect that makes many people love it.
Anyhow, this is also only my opinion. So I do hope you won't take offense and won't call me out for voicing it on this page.
Suddenly coming back here and thinking of this drama. :,) I really am curious, wasn't it originally 20 episodes?…
Aha, I can see what you mean. But imo they could have tacked on like one more episode because I think the entire character of Jin Seok didn't get to fully be explained by that cut. It like they had plans to finish up with a grand explosion of his character but they didn't have time, which is my one dislike of the show, haha.
I don't mind most censorship, and scene when smoking is just impossible by some weird chance of fate is always lulz bc it happens in almost every drama with a smoker. But the knives drives me up a wall lol. Like, okay, maybe, I don't want to see the point of contact, but the whole knife being blurred is like ??
Lmfao at the decapitation one though! That's straight up lulz.
maybe someone will eventually find this
Also the classic! You're Beautiful. A painful first experience with both kdramas and sls...

also I'm an awful person but in Falling For Innocence I think most of my time was spent on staring at Yoon Hyun Min lmao
