that was their plan I think, after revenge, the end. Since tatsuya saw the DVD, it was like even revenge didnt…
You made it sounds so funny :) I get it but it still stupid for me, specially when he loves someone it should at least give him the will to live. The poor girl didn't even matter.
can we have a shoutout for 'smoking kills' message in Hit the Top, paired with an elaborate reference…
Yeah the shoes thing is an all different story. It's also funny when suspects take their shoes off before entering the custody room in the police office. I remember when they jut took them off and enter the cell and then the police officer arranged them in Whisper, It was super funny haha.
The blur doesn't bother me personally. I only focus on the story line and since everybody knows how a knife looks like, well it's not a big deal. But it's curious how some things seem to be less bothersome than others. I mean they manage to censor cigarette but never did the same to drugs. Guess it's OK as it looks like flour? LOL. What about guns? I see it's on the list but they are not censored on dramas. Same for swords but I guess they have some historical value so people should know about them and show respect to the great warriors who defended the kingdom through time? haha anyway :)

I'm currently watching Circle and I understand perfectly. I don't understand why I'll have to keep watching this disgusting worm, omg, I'm entomophobic and it almost made me drop the show.
I also didn't expect the suicide scene from a K-drama, I mean it doesn't bother me personally but that's so unusual in dramas. There is one more scene that surprised me is when the alien girl had a shatter of glass in her neck after the car hit the coffee shop's window.
I've always wondered why knives (if used by an attacker) are censored, but swords and bigger knifes (like…
For cars it's not only in Korea, it's actually means the brand is not a sponsor, they probably paid for it or used someone's car idk. Anyway, you may also see a bottle of soda blurred. Sponsoring seems to be a big deal in Korea. What annoys me more than blurring other brands is the very opposite. The over-advertising, the most advertised object on Dramas are phones. When you realize that everybody on the drama have Samsung S8+ or LG G6+ while the main lead is suffering from debts and poverty, I'm so annoyed than I want to scream well sell your damn phone and problem solved.
I don't know about non-korean dramas listed above as I only watch J and K dramas.
But I AGREE with the others. I think Pinocchio and City Hunter would've turned into great dramas if there were less romance because the main story is complicated enough. I don't remember City Hunter as it have been so long but I remember how I hated the relationship and honestly I wanted that Park min yong's character to disappear because I think that wouldn't change much things in the story line.
As for Pinocchio I just couldn't connect to the love between an adopted uncle and his niece. I mean they lived so long together as a family, even if they don't share the same blood people should be clear about the kind of relationships they want. The guy didn't seem to be able to make his mind about his relation to the family, it ticked me off for so long. It reminds me of "Sweet stranger and me" one of the worst romances I've ever watched too. I think it deserves it's spot here.
I only watched the J version of Playful kiss, Love in Tokyo. I hated it, I still wondering why I kept watching it till the end. A couple of mentally instable persons... I hate sticky girls and guys who think they are too good for some person, all in all, the worst romance ever.
Full House seems to be very popular but I couldn't watch it. I barely watched about 30 min of the first episode, I knew it wasn't the kind I would enjoy.
I almost agree but can't help it wondering what does "K2" do among a list of such great dramas ... Madame Choi was epic but I can't say the same about neither the story nor the main couple.
I agree with you. I watched K2 because I love action drama but it wasn't that good.
I might have enjoyed a little more than other because I loved Choi Yoo Jin's character and also because I'm not a big fan of Ji Chang Wook. I don't like him and I didn't care if he's not on the screen all the time.
You are talking about Yoo Jin falling for him but for me it wasn't "love", she said many times in the drama that love is luxury for people like them, it was more like a huge among of respect as she was talking all the time about being "friends". I liked her character even more for this. Because if we had noona love I think the show would have been even more disappointing.
Yoo Jin took care of Jae Ha because he was the first to take care of her, truly stood by her every time she needed him and she didn't have to ask. This part was cool but too confusing for me. The guy acted like a playboy for a mysterious reason. Anyway, it was a watchable drama with many flaws but still enjoyable.
To answer to your question about the best looking actors : it's definitly Kim Woo Bin.
I don't know if I can add idols, but if they count : Park Hyung Shik and Seo Kang Joon
I like suspense and mystery so much that sometimes I just want to tear the poster apart when it reveals so much about the story. But at the same time, I don't like simple and boring covers either. For example, you are the second person to talk positively about Sleepeeer Hit! yet every time I see the cover I feel discouraged. I don't feel like giving it a try any sooner.
Very nice article. Congrats!
I understand you avoided to give examples to avoid spoiler. Each time I read a paragraph I tried to guess which character and which drama it is, based on the ones I watched, it was so fun to do.
By the way, what you describe at P7 is rather a Wolf In Sheep's Clothing. You should edit and correct it.
Good job :)
The is the best DRAMA ever, it totally beats Bridal Mask, Secret Garden, Signal, Boys over Flowers, City Hunter,…
Hi, thank you !
I hope you will enjoy your time in Korea too.
I think I'll pass Tokyo Bandwagon, doesn't look appealing to me at all.
Indeed Sung Joon is in WC, I think it's the very first time I saw him and his character was one of the less annoying ones this time. I mean, as I hated the whole drama, I gave him other chances to hate him properly haha, because in this drama I didn't care. By the way the only actor from the cast I knew at that time was Kim wo bin.
I've never heard of Kazokugari, the plot seems interesting though. I started SAT Ten for now, I'll consider watching Kazoku right after.
L (Infinite)
SungYeol (Infinite)
Park Hyun Shik (ZE:A)
D.O (EXO)
Ok Taecyeon (2PM)

The only thing I don't agree with is best bromance. I think best bromances were in Descendants of the Sun, Goblin and Vampire detective.

I like Exo and GOT7. My favorite group is Infinite though.
