I started this drama based on people's review. Everybody is saying it's a great drama etc. But I find…
I now they are not alike but I can't help it to think about Sung Joon while watching DK in this drama. A good kisser? haha you pervert ! (I'm just kidding).
I fully understand your point of you, for me, it's just like you said, The girl is not my kind of girl. I understand the complexity of DK personality, this kind of guys is not my type though. Since I couldn't connect to any of the characters, not even the second leads, I had to drop it at some point.
I like the way you said, she makes him happy, I had to accept her. Funny how it feels like your talking about your ex :)

The is the best DRAMA ever, it totally beats Bridal Mask, Secret Garden, Signal, Boys over Flowers, City Hunter,…
I didn't know Temptation but now that I read the synopsis it's not appealing at all haha. Indeed AMO is not the worst drama I ever watched but it deserves a spot among them lol.

I don't know this Eric guy, it's the first time I see this actor but he reminds me of Sung Joon, and I really HATE Sung Joon. So I tried to give him a chance and not judge a book by its cover, yet the character he played didn't help much. Unlike you, I think he was as childish as the other characters. As I said before, I don't like the idea of loving someone out of pity, it's very offensive for both girls or at least it should be. But I guess it's OK for two desperate girls with zero pride...
As for Seo Hyun Jin, this is also my first time meeting this actress. And I agree with you, the character was awful, it's the main reason that made me drop this drama, however I liked the actress, at least in the 2 first episodes. She's so natural that it blows my mind. For that reason I put Teacher Kim in my plan to watch list but I'm not sure if I'll like it. People said it's a good drama but they also think Another miss Oh is a good drama so...

I completed watching the show and I'm still wondering why is it rated so highly? Why is it recommended pretty…
I agree, what I like the most about Asian world is comedy. I'm not a big fan of romance but It's fun to watch some times. I also like creativity and supernatural touches in most Asian stories. I don't like violence specially the horror gender, I hate stuff like Saw movies, but I love action. In fact, action dramas are my favorite.

I didn't watch most of these drama except for Healer and Last Cinderella. But I don't understand what are they doing here, specially Healer. What do you mean Healer is awful? o.O This is your opinion I get it but the title doesn't fit the article at all. When I read "Objectively awful" I was expecting low rated dramas that you enjoyed anyway, like the opposite of your last article. But the article is more about clarifying the pros and the cons of a selection of 6 dramas.
I mean it's a good article and thank you for it, I just think this is far from being objective.

I hate sex and violence too, when I said dramas are the same in all countries I meant Asian countries and I was talking to soracantablie about a special context, I didn't meant to say it in general. I did watch few American TV shows but not Hispanic. Some are better than Kdramas. What I'm trying to say is, good script doesn't depend on the nationality but on the scenarist's talent. Actors are not good because they are Korean it's just that there are lot of talented actors all over the world, same goes for producers and all the staff. So when good people are all together they give us a great drama to enjoy, regardless of nationality. However, of course it can't be at everyone's taste.

I think dramas are all the same in every country. It only depends on the plot and the cast. In fact there is so many over-rated Kdramas I couldn't connect with and some low-rated ones that I enjoyed. The problem here in My DramaList is that there is 5 times more Kdrama fans than other Asian drama fans. In some other websites, specially the ones that include Animes, the Jdramas are well rated because animes lovers are more used to Japanese language, they watch more Jdramas than Kdramas. Even for me, when I started watching dramas after too many years of watching animes I preferred Jdramas over Kdramas and it took me few years before getting used to Korean.

@peacewon Indeed for me it was too slow and boring. And the major problem is the way they deal with things, the drama is realistic but the plot is so far from reality, or at least from morality. No matter how much I think about it, getting payed for being a wife is offensive. A person who is payed for cleaning and cooking is a called a maid and a person who's being payed for physical contact is a prostitute (sorry for the word). I mean even when they fall in love she wanted to keep the money so... Anyway I'm happy you enjoyed it and didn't get disappointed like me.

@ soracantabile I'm sorry you didn't like from 5 to 9, I guess we are a bit different as you said. But at least we share the same hobby which is watching dramas. By the way I see we agreed about other dramas like King2Hearts, 1 litre of tears, Goblin and some others.

TvN produce great dramas, I usually love all their work but I dropped some of these because I couldn't connect to the plot or the actors like : Reply, Exgirlfriends club and Another miss Oh.

I liked all this characters but I think you missed the best DID patient, Cha Do Hyeon and his 7 personalities in Kill me Heal me.
The best spy for me is definitely Kay (Lee Joon Ki) in Time between wolf and dog.
The best crown prince is (Lee Joon Ki in Scarelet heart haha, yeah I love this guy don't hit me). I love Park Bo Gum and his was so cute in moonlight, but I loved Park Hyun Shik in Hwarang much more.
And the thing with bad boys is that they are great actors, Nam Gung Min gave me vibes in Remember, Shin Sung Rok was so great in both My love from the stars and Liar game and recently, I couldn't help it being drown by Kim Jae Wook's character in Voice.
Of course, I'll never forget the cutest Grim reaper, the funniest goblin and the charismatic Samunim Choi Yoo Jin. I'm not a big fan of Ji Chang Wook but this woman made this drama worth my time.

I respect your point of view. I guess this gender is just not my cup of tea. Did you watch 5-ji Kara 9-ji Made? Try this one, I enjoyed it very much.

I'm the first one to comment youpi! lol
I like marathoning dramas and I don't think that keeps me from any one of the fun situations described here. I wait patiently for the drama to end, and some worth the wait. I watch it as soon as the last episode is aired and translated and I might also watch it at the same time as my best friend so we do the fungirling thing together. I also guess what's coming next but too bad most recent dramas are too obvious and predictable from the very beginning.
Anyway, it was fun to read the article :)

I watched all of them except for It’s Okay, That’s Love, it didn't catch my intention, I liked the main actress in Master's sun and producers (even if this drama was awful) but when I saw her in jealousy incarnate I couldn't stand it anymore. She's always the same, very predictable, it's like she don't act she just built that kind of personality and show it in all dramas.

I didn't know Bride of the Century, it's the first time I hear of it.

I loved Goblin and Pinocchio, unlike you I like complicated plots and get bored with simple ones.

Regarding Goblin, I agree about the romance and the poor performance of the main actress, if only they picked a more experienced actress, I'm sure it would have been a lot better. Fortunately I loved the second couple more and the bromance was irresistible.

Oh my venus was very slow and I have no idea why I watched it till the end. I don't like romance and simple plots but something held me till the end, the perfect acting and my love for the cast maybe. It's the kind of dramas where the actors have really worked hard to make a poor scenario stand out.

Shut Up: Flower Boy Band, I have to admit, it's a shame for me to say that I finished this one. I hated it so much! It's hard for me to like any drama with Sung Joon's creepy face and I tried, but I just can't stand this guy. Let's say that I was locked up in a room with nothing but this drama x)

The Highly rated Korean drama I dropped are Another Miss Oh (The 1est episode was good but a strong women becoming a sticky pathetic girl 2 episodes later was painful to watch) then it, W (but I finished it later because my BF made me and I still don't understand why is it high rated. This fits exactly your description of Pinocchio, every 2 episodes makes a new different script, no logic there), the legendary "Full House" (I hate silly, poor and weak female characters, I couldn't finish the first episode, twice) and Doctors (Can I call it a drop? I barely watched 15 min).

There is the very very highly rated Dear My Friends! 8.9? I dropped at the second and from the very beginning I was trying so hard to keep up, I mean, it's 8.9! I was wondering if I was some freak.

Is this drama in Korean or Mandarin ? It seems like all actors are Korean so why is it marked as a Chinese drama…
Sounds great, I will definitely watch it then. Thank you, I really appreciate it.
Enjoy your next drama :)

Thanks for answering. I understand it's a collaboration but I'm wondering what language are they speaking in the drama? Is it Korean? I can't stand Chinese.

God, I wanted to be interested in this (b/c hello, handsome merman!?) but I just cannot get past the weird overdubbed…
Oh I see, I don't think this will annoy me if the voices are perfectly synchronized. Thanks for the explanation @Tanya94
