I wish I read your review before watching it. It's absolute garbage. I'm still shocked at the website rating. I'd say the actors did their best, but man, acting isn't just about interpreting what you're given, it's also about having the talent, courage, and ingenuity to say no to an absurd and indecent script.
Can someone explain why is this rated +8? I keep getting led on with all these high ratings for such disappointing shows. I miss the time when even a 7 can be entertaining. Anyway, I wonder what the cast was thinking honestly, such good actors in such mediocre and disgusting show. Only a sick person would approve such "romance". The fights were good though, at least we can give them that.
Tunnel is a great show, but it's nothing like this one. So I don't know if you actually want a genre close to…
Yeah Goblin is one of those shows that have absolutely everything to be amazing but they had to cast a not so fitting FL and create a downside to the show. You're asking me a difficult question here hehe. Weak hero class 1 is short, I think 8 ep. It has two seasons, although I think the first one is much better than the second but it's a personal taste. It's romance free so you get all the friendship and action you want. If you watched School 2013, it has a remotely similar vibe. Hwarang is also a good pick to start if you like historical dramas. If I remember right, the outfits were really nice that I still remember them. It's not so common to have Kdramas about Silla kingdom. The romance not so good in my opinion but I think there was so much more to see that I didn't mind it.
Can anyone recommend some bromance shows with similar vibes? Shows where the bromance is at the center the show…
Tunnel is a great show, but it's nothing like this one. So I don't know if you actually want a genre close to the DJ but if not, Descendants of the Sun, Business Proposal, Goblin, Alchemy of Souls, Weak Hero, Hwarang, The Uncanny Counter... are all shows with strong friendship vibe.
I really struggled to get through The Devil Judge. I kept giving it more chances because of Ji Sung, but honestly, I’ve never been this disappointed in a show. An 8.7 rating? For what, exactly? I had to stop at episode 5. I couldn’t bear the creepiness and the nonsense any longer. And that actress… I’m sorry, but her acting was unbearable, and she was just too hard to watch. Such a waste of Ji Sung’s talent.
For those wondering why it says 29+, it's actually a joke in Korean culture. It means "this is even more mature than 19+." It's not an official rating. 19+ is the real adult rating. But they use 29+ to exaggerate how mature the content is. Basically, it’s like saying “19+ is not enough, this one’s for the real adults.”
Oh and can you please recommend movies/dramas like these???? Pleaaaaase
It's been 4 months but well - The girl reminds me a lot the one in Hana Yori Dango. The story is slightly different and the roles reversed since the man is the one to be super rich. However I know this one is a classic so you may have already watched it. - The story reminds me of Itazura na Kiss, so if you didn't watched, try it out. - 5-ji Kara 9-ji Made have some kind of similarities to this but in a more mature way since it involves adults and not teens. - Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu this drama is also about an arranged marriage, I personally wasn't pleased about it but it's quite popular so you can check it out if you like.
i was going to give it a try before reading your comment lol... now not really sure as i don't like creepy dramas
No body talked about forcing any body here, chill! I was giving my personal opinion about my personal preferences. You don't have to like what I like nor hate what I hate. Since you talked about defendant then you must have read my second comment where I clearly stated that "the poll proves that people see things differently" and it was a waste of MY time not Yours. Best regards.

I know, of course it's different it's not a rom-com we are talking about here but a melodrama. I didn't watch the Japanese version, maybe I will give it a try, thanks
I agree with your list. But especially Cruel City. It's such a well written drama and Jung Kyung Ho is such an…
I'm sorry I missed your 6 months old comment. Well you may be right. The main problem with this show is the free profanity and sexual content put in there irrelevantly I have to say. You can feel the forced romance with zero chemistry meant to draw attention. But as you said about the date, I guess making a non romantic K-drama was kinda impossible in 2013. It's only later when they dared to make dramas like voice and tunnel and quite honestly they were perfect.
I was a fan of Kara back in the days. I still listen to there songs and watch there videos once in a while but now I think I won't be able to do that anymore. I feel so sorry and sad for her, there is no word. RIP Go Ha Ra!
I like dramas with deep and heavy themes but, I'm not sure about the list. I actually watched Ouroboros and The smile HLYE and honestly I didn't like any of the two. I don't find them deep or anything, they are too messed up. I don't mind tragedies but I would prefer a tragedy with a purpose (like sorry, I love u). Mother, I didn't watch it yet but it's on my list. I feel like I'm gonna like it, themes about mothers, orphans and all this stuff are meant to be deep. Beside I love that actress very much since I hear your voice. I didn't watch save me but my friend didn't recommend it, she said it doesn't worth my time so I'll trust her on that. And lastly you said "This show, unknown to few, is one of the best shows I've ever seen." about That Winter, The Wind Blows, well I couldn't agree more. This show is a bit old but it's still engraved in my memory, I loved it so much and I think I'm going to rewatch it someday.
Personally when I think about deep themes I think about : - King2Hearts - Voice - Beautiful mind - Signal - I'm Sorry, I Love You - One litre of Tears (Japanese) - Time Between Dog and Wolf - Defendant - Page Turner ( a 3 episodes drama special) - Cruel City ( That one is definitly crazy)
i just noticed the drama summary is kinda messed up lol. I dont recall any serial poisoning murders. Jang Hwa…
Not only there is no serial poisoning murders but I don't recall Yo Jin being a psychiatrist. This would be so funny since he has been treating all kind of deseases and even participated in surgery.
It was ok....seem like some of the bad guys got off a little easy think they totally turned a blind eye to attorney…
I know it's been 8 months but I just finished the show so. Hwan Sang stole the evidence against the attorney Eulji and gave it the her. At her last moment she asked her not to give up on being an attorney and help people with her skills instead of confession and loosing her license. As for Ki San, it's been 34 years, the prescription time limited has passed. He wasn't going to jail anyway so all she wanted is for people to know she's innocent and that he's not the man he claims.

Definitely a waste of my time, however the poll proves that people happen to see things very differently. I checked your plan to watch list so I would recommend : Defendant, signal or angry mom. I really enjoyed these shows. But I have to warn you, they are very different categories as there is no romance in it. So if you want romance let me know, so I would think of something.
I came here hoping to get some recommendations but I'm so surprised that I can't believe my eyes! I mean The Smile Has Left Your Eyes pretty much everywhere? That's one of the worst shows I have ever seen and I've seen much; plus I love the actors or at least I used to, before whatching this creepy pointless psychlogical drama. I mean even for a melodrama it's still a bit far-fetched.
