I kept thinking how can he lose weight and suddenly become a complete different person (since the first guy wasn't…
Same, man, it bothered me so much that he was a completely different person in both looks and behaviour!! I was willing to give it a pass on the looks, but I couldn't believe, not even for a second, that Matsuda Shota couldn't match the other actor's acting, so I unfortunately figured out they must have been two different people very early on (there were so many hints during the movie as well, and once I got this idea in my head, I started noticing everything and it all just fell into place...) It was a really good movie, though! I'm so glad I watched it :)
The acting was terrific as expected, and the cinematography was stunningly beautiful. The story was okay, albeit predictable, but I feel like I would have rated it higher if I were PMSing. It's just THAT kind of mushy mushy movie. Still, it definitely deserves an 8 overall.
I'm on ep 02 and I still have to understand whether I think Sakurai Sho's acting is brilliant or terrible. It works with the character though, so, either way, I think he's spot on.
As expected, there were quite some icky things in this dorama. The whole morality of it was too grey-area for me, and that's too bad, because I think that with some minor changes this could have been a great dorama.
The acting was nothing superb, but it was fine. Loved when they cross-dressed, even though I don't get why they're more successful like that lol
All in all, I see Nojima-san's hand behind this series, but even he couldn't make me look past the incest allusions, the dub-con stuff, and the huge age difference between Papa!Dan and Mana and Sachi.
I didn't like the direction the last two episodes took. I'm giving it a 6.5 because, all in all, it was a funny dorama about friendship and adolescence.
I just finished ep 5 and... can somebody explain the thing with Kirara? I'm clueless as to what might have happened that could have that reaction, really.

6.5/10.
