recommend dramas as intense as tlb pls, i've been starting a lot of cdramas lately but i can't find any that gets…
snowdrop is a new kdrama that is intense from the very start. first two episodes are a bit slow for some, but had heartpounding cliffhangers. it starts to pick up around ep 5 and only gets more thrilling and intense from there.
one and only is also a beautiful historical cdrama. it is not as intense, but is definitely a tearjerking and breathtaking experience.
most intense of all is the blue whisper, which is another dilireba drama with allen ren, the main actor for one and only. i've read the novel for this drama and it's as tearjerking, heartwrenching, and intense as they can get. it's split into two seasons and is said to be released in early 2022.
I reaaaaaally enjoyed this drama! The casting is very well done, the characters, including the antagonists are…
the grassland arc with the ashile tribe was definitely the pinnacle point of the drama for me. i personally feel like this is where both chang ge's and a'sun's characters had gone through a drastic turning point and we start to see their mindsets grow and change. of course with the beautiful cinematography and overall feel of the grasslands just adds such uniqueness to the plot that makes it stand out from other dramas.
Just wanted to post something and it's about princess Yongan played by Zhao Lu Si. Her character development took…
the main leads' were more subtle and gradual, while leyan's was very drastic and obvious. both developments were great in their own way, it's just the execution and routes taken were different for each character. i personally prefer chang ge's growth as it feels really raw and natural since we literally see her grow and mature through each arc, like we're learning and maturing with her. although i enjoyed leyan's growth, it was pretty predictable and similar to many tropes done before in previous dramas.

it's hard to say haha. each one is intolerable in their own way. i often encounter jennie stans and rose stans the most. jennie stans are entitled, they're so used to their fav getting the most for everything out of the members that they become greedy and selfish. rose stans are like jealous children, they insert her into everything and complain all the time. with lisa stans i'm lucky to have never encounter any problems with them yet.
a big one though that jisoo stans face a lot is that we can't go and compliment jisoo without the other three's stans inserting in their favs.
ex 1: "jisoo is so pretty, she's a great visual!" --> "THEY'RE ALL VISUALS!" ex 2: "jisoo's voice is really good!" --> "THEY ALL CAN SING WELL! SHE'S NOT EVEN THE MAIN VOCALIST!"
another annoying thing is jisoo stans can't enjoy her achievements in peace. when snowdrop was announced the other stans were blaming jisoo for the delay in blackpink's comeback, then after a while they suddenly want their favs to act in dramas too. there were rose stans who wanted her to sing an ost for jisoo's drama when jisoo should be the one to sing an ost for her own drama. i'm telling you, i've built up so much tolerance being a jisoo stan.

unfortunately, you are right about this. it's just how social media works. not much we can do at this point, especially when it comes to large fandoms such as this.
you're actually lucky it's just jisoo fans you're dealing with lol, and these people are probably ot4 blinks are jisoo bias. actual jisoo stans or at least most of the ones i know just want the best for her and are trying their best to support her and mind our business. the solo stans of the 3 members are the ones who will really tear you apart.

i try to keep my own personal opinions to myself most of the time. as a jisoo stan i am really grateful for her role as youngro and for her to be able to participate in a drama with such great actors that she can learn from. i enjoy her acting as well as the drama and i know that others may have differing opinions than i do. jisoo isn't the best actress and this drama is not the best drama out there, even though i personally think that it is one of the best i have ever watched. but this is my opinion and i don't want to try and force it onto someone else.
i just don't get why people just have to spread unnecessary hate or be the opposite and view everything as hate. just keep your opinions to yourself if you're sharing it just to spread hate or take a step back and look at it objectively before labeling something as a hate comment. not everyone has the same opinions so just be mindful of what others have to say. it really isn't that hard to have thoughtful and peaceful conversations.
Just be glad Army members haven't discovered this section yet.
yeah, i try to avoid these type of things but it appeared on my timeline. i wasn't even aware of this issue until yesterday. i am not sure if whether if it was an army or a troll, but they had said something really inhumane regarding kim minsoo and snowdrop. i don't want to repeat it on here, but it really made me disappointed to see how far some of these so called fans would go just to hate on another person in order to defend their own idols. this is one of the reasons i don't consider myself to be a blink anymore. toxic fans just take out the fun and joy of everything.

i agree with you here. being a kpop stan is tough and it also turns me away from the groups itself due to the toxicity of the fandoms. i used to be a blink myself but due to the toxic fandom and solo stans, i've drifted away from kpop and the only person i actually follow now is jisoo and a few other idols. it's such a shame tbh that we are unable to enjoy something without it turning into a fanwar or being viewed as hate.
Just be glad Army members haven't discovered this section yet.
as of recent there has been fanwars on twitter comparing jisoo and taehyung's acting and the successes between hwarang and snowdrop. it's truly such a disappointment to see so much hate going around as someone who just wants to enjoy the drama. why can't everyone just mind their own business seriously?
Honestly, I would be disappointed if any romance comes up between jisoo and hae in cause wtf! Naturally, whatever…
although the logical and right choice would be this option, you can't deny the fact that as humans, we can't choose who we fall in love with. you can be in love with someone who has hurt you countless of times despite not wanting to. you can also be in love with someone but not like them.
you also need to think from sooho's perspective. i despise what he's doing to youngro, but in their circumstances, this is the best that he could do in order to protect her, himself, as well as his comrades. he's in a dilemma and there is no easy way out for him.
rather than sooho, i feel like youngro might die. besides the symbol of hope and purity like the director had…
of course you are right. sooho here is a more tortured ml than chengyin’s character. while chengyin was mainly motivated by his desire for the crown, sooho is just trying to go home and keep himself as well as his comrades alive. his actions were unintentional compared to chengyin’s which were intentional.
we can’t deny though that both dramas have huge misunderstandings coming from both sides, and regret is has also been a main theme seen and portrayed in snowdrop. if sooho had been an ordinary man, if he hadn’t gone into her dorm, if he hadn’t picked up her paper airplane… it just seems like a foreshadowing of youngro’s end seeing that she has and will suffer so much that the only way for her to be at peace is through death.
if this were to happen, i would want to have sooho die and be with her. a scene from the intro could also hint at this ending which was the final scene where it shows youngro’s shadow/silhouette waiting on the rooftop and was then joined by sooho’s shadow/silhouette.
Tbh, I don't want Kang Cheong Ya to have one sided feelings for Im Soo Ho. I would've love if she's just a bad…
i agree with you completely. i hate it when dramas only use other female characters who have great potential as a way to create conflict for the main couple. however, i myself am okay with it if it turns out she does have one sided feelings for sooho. however, rather than have it as a hindrance to her character, i’d rather have her arc take the direction where she prioritizes her mission over her feelings over a man. where she doesn’t allow her feelings to cloud her judgment and her goals.
Am I the only one who thinks Lim SooHo might die at the end of this show?
rather than sooho, i feel like youngro might die. besides the symbol of hope and purity like the director had mentioned, snowdrop is also known to be a flower that grows over graves. in the first released poster, the flower is shown hovering over youngro’s character.
for cdrama watchers who have watched goodbye my princess, snowdrop so far gives me major vibes similar to that drama. youngro here is similar to xiaofeng, started out as happy, bubbly, and full of life. they both unexpectedly fell in love with a man and had saved his life and even brought him into their home. both xiaofeng and youngro then got betrayed by the person they fell in love with and trusted, they lost everyone who was dear to them because of their love. in the end xiaofeng died as a sacrifice to gu xiaowu’s and her brother’s war and made them repent on their mistakes.
i can see the same happening here with youngro’s character if she dies. her death will cause her father to realize that his greed had caused him to lose both of his children’s lives, and sooho will regret ever having crossing paths with youngro.
there is still a chance for happy ending though where they both move to germany and start a new life there.
I’m on episode 5 and the FL’s acting is terrible. Maybe the worst I’ve ever seen in a Kdrama. Why did they…
the director didn’t choose Jisoo for her star power, but because he had felt that she was the only person who could play the role of youngro from the very first moment he saw her. he never intended for a rookie to take on this role but changed his mind when he saw jisoo’s audition.
this literally tells you how good jisoo is and what kind of impression she must’ve left for the director who has worked on this script for 12 years now to risk it all and choose her to be the fl.
she is doing really well in her role in my opinion including many others. for a rookie actress to have shown such great performances already really says a lot about her improvement in future projects.
rather than constructive criticism, your comments are harsh and unnecessary. saying that jisoo’s acting is one of the worst you’ve ever seen is a reach.
Everyone I know is boycotting this drama bcz of the issue behind it Honestly not my type of show so I won't watch…
dude if you can put up with watching 40+ episodes of a cdrama then you can definitely go through an 1hr and 30 min of a 16 min drama lol. and if you can’t just watchful halfway stop and continue at a later time. but personally i don’t even feel like the episodes are even that long because of how good and captivating it is.
but if you don’t want to do that then it’s cool, can’t force someone to do something they don’t want to.
Hey I think you are judging way too much..just 3eps are out now.....Also I think u really have no idea who jung…
Personally, I feel like a comparison isn’t needed because like you said it is like comparing night and day.
Hyun Bin’s character has a different background and personality compared to Hae in’s character. It can’t be compared. Both are dealt with different circumstance and are asked to emote in different ways.
The only similarity between the two is that they’re north korean soldier, but even then we can’t entirely be sure as there is still a lot from Hae in’s character that has yet to be revealed.
