I loved Seng so much in Why R U and thought he was hilarious, but here he is just showing so much range. Like…
I love Seng too. I love how both his character here and in Why R U are super clingy/touchy with people haha. He's great truly and this I was super excited for this episode (which it did not disappoint).
I actually forgot I watched some of these so thanks for reminding me of these! The most recent I've watched is Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim and it was pretty decent. I liked it well enough but it got tedious watching it every week (probably much better as a binge though).
Andddd it's over. I actually really adored this drama! I found that it was a action-packed mystery about an incident that affected both of our leads/connected them in present day to resolve. I loved seeing the connection between our 2 main leads (even if it only technically stayed in the bromance territory, they are married in my mind.) They have so many cute scenes together. The actual case was a bit lacking for me (along with the fact that they had a somewhat open ending for it) but still interesting nonetheless.
I recommend trying it at least. It was fun as a week to week watch.
Okay so probably one of my least favorite BL's I've watched.
I'm not mad I watched the series- but it just wasn't very good (glad I binged it at least, instead of watching it weekly though cause it probably would've gotten an even lower score from me). I feel like the build up with the main couple was lacking, especially on Cheol Soo's side where you can see that he was uncomfy with Seol Won to suddenly really liking him. They were cute when they were together at least but with the addition of the second lead it just felt kinda bitter especially at the beginning episodes when they were flirting in front of him (not that that was their fault but from a viewer's perspective it felt sadder than it should've). The second couple was ok I guess- I don't dislike straight cp's in BL's but at least make them interesting, it felt like the story stagnated whenever they were on screen and I was very tempted to skip their scenes.
Idk it just could've been better. It felt somewhat boring to me most of the time too- and somehow the first episode with the pure insanity plotline was more entertaining. At least they tried to have more than "dead fish" lip kissing- but the open mouth thing was a lot too since it felt like they slow-mo'd it too.
It might be more worth it to watch a youtube edit about them vs the whole series.
Hello, I just uploaded ep2 of the extra(No PW needed), you can find it in the discussion.https://kisskh.at/discussions/keiyaku-abunai-aibou/71643-keixyaku-hulu-extras?pid=2183505&page=1#p2183505
Finished watching and I'm a bit disappointed actually. I thought I was going to love it, it was going well especially with those domestic scenes and for some reason we needed the ex to help the main guy "move on". Like Shi Lei was literally going to confess before that guy showed up. I just feel like we could've been better in the way we handled that instead of episode after episode of contrived angst. I just got so tired, I couldn't even enjoy the main couple getting together at the end fully. It still had good moments though but I get why I didn't hear that much about this drama before. I'll enjoy edits of the couple in the future instead of a rewatch.
I really enjoyed this one! Good revenge story with a side of romance. The messy rich people drama was fun to watch (along with the more serious revelations) and the outfits/backgrounds were gorgeous too. Definitely recommend if that sounds good.
I am so in love with this show!! All the Shiro x Ichiro interactions are gold. They have amazing chemistry and the extra scenes are basically sugar to me. :)
I had a really fun time with this movie. It was funny, it was sexy, it was charming, it was heartbreaking at times, and it was wholesome. I loved seeing their relationship development/the struggles that Ji Hoo had to go through. I'm rating it a good 9.5, I like how daring the script was (for the more conservative Korea) and I'd probably watch it again. I do have to say, my Netflix (US) rated the move 14+ for age demographic so no don't expect anything too raunchy if you're going by U.S. tastes. if you keep that in mind you probably won't be disappointed like some other people were looking at the MDL content rating.
Oh my goodness 7.7 is such a low rating...I usually tend to score higher until a show is done. If things are going too slowly for people maybe wait till it's finished to binge? It can help the experience become better.
Watched the first episode and it seems pretty promising. I'm a sucker for these type of "into a new world" type stories. I hope it has a satisfying ending with only 8 eps.
Lol I agree though! I felt like Weir has only been flirting and they definitely didn't deserve a slap from Punn…
Yeah I feel it. Maybe this could be a wake up call for Weir to be serious about Pooh. I hope those two end up together cause I like their dynamic...in the intro I think they're trying to pair us together Punn and Weir though :/ We'll see I guess. I heard other adaptations don't tend to actually confirm relationships.
The difference in a comment between here and YT couldn't be more diverse. I'm enjoying this because it breaks…
Lol I agree though! I felt like Weir has only been flirting and they definitely didn't deserve a slap from Punn who doesn't even know anything. I felt bad for Pooh since he looked hurt though.
It's a little silly but I'm liking it. There seems to be a side plot of kidnapping/murdering children that I'm betting is connected to Punn's past traumas. Still a good pick me up though.
