With these types of relationships I do feel like I view them differently depending on the situation. For the recent step siblings ones I don't think I mind those as much since they lived separately all that time and I don't think it's a wrong thing to fall in love with someone who's not related to you when you're both consenting adults just because your parents married. However I do find it a little weird when dramas like Kill Me, Heal Me or Her Private Life have the 2nd ML be the FL's brother that they have grown up with their whole life. We're always initially introduced to them as brother sister and they do act like that (such as teasing, fighting or insulting one another) so to suddenly bring up that they aren't actually blood related and that they have feelings for the FL always surprises me. Do I think that they're wrong for having such feelings? No I don't. I actually feel pretty bad for them at times since the FL usually expresses that she's never thought about him that way and always treated him like family (just like how the rest of us viewed them as initially.) So I think it's probably from the way that these dramas portray these relationships and how we come to understand them. Take for instance the U.S. show "The Flash", the main couple is Iris West and Barry Allen who were childhood friends where Barry already had a crush on her, before Iris' Dad adopted Barry. I think it's less weird in this show because we know that Barry had prior feelings for her and has always made that clear (despite growing up with her and being seen as members from the same household.)
It's always interesting to hear other people's thoughts on the topic. Especially since so many of us have different gauges about what's acceptable, socially acceptable, or taboo. Great article and topic to discuss!
It's a genre of Chinese novels. It basically means the main character will be traveling through different worlds while their soul remains the same but their identity changes. This novel had a lot of worlds Lin Dan traveled through (there's like 1000+ chapters I think) where she became a master embroider, a super model, a master chef, etc. There's also supernatural roles that the main character has so I'm not sure how they'll tackle the drama. They'll probably pick more of her tame worlds and that is if they'll even have her travel different worlds at all.
I'm freaking out. This is based off literally my favorite quickwear novel. Now I'm kinda scared to watch because idk if they'll do it justice. I'm definitely interested though.

Here's where you can find the translated chapters. They're sadly only up to 95/475. That's still a couple arcs though :)
