I've never been to S. Korea and am not familiar with how Seoul is laid out and its transportation. Can someone give a sense of distance (travel by car/transit/walking) involved in the frequent locations in the series? I'm guessing Seoul has a pretty good public transit system.

Figuring the Lee apartment building (#73 on the street sign) is "ground-zero", I'm guessing the following:
- Walking distance: Yu Na's apartment; The Bong Food Storefront;
- Short drive (< 30 mins): Hyun Jae's apartment; the Law Firm office; KIlling Colors HQ
- Long drive (>30 mins): The Dental Clinic; The Hyun's house; Bong Food HQ; Hae Jun's apartment;

Does this seem correct? I think it's a long drive from Hae Jun's apartment back to the Lee's based on Yoon Jae's experiences? But it seems she's not that far from Hyun Jae's?

I'm not sure if HJ remembers, but she was told about the marriage race way back in the series....I think it was by Seong Soo one morning in the office???

Agreed! There are 2 things that should be interesting: YJ needs to tell her that he's in debt (they've raised the issue of some guy chasing HJ for her money before), and best of all......meeting YJ's mother. I can't wait for how they'll handle that...LOL

Thank you, Ani. The show is edited to fit in the 8-9pm timeslot here, and with commercial break is no longer than 55 mins. I know its actual runtime is 70? mins, so I also thought that KBS-LA just edited it out.

Also agree on the side stories, especially the relatives upstairs.

But, I do really like the YJ/HJ story because I can identify with it. Her role (while a bit over the top as needed for comic relief) is very believable. Spending one's life building a successful career and business exacts a steep personal price that comes due sometimes when it's too late to enjoy the spoils of your hard work. She's fortunate she realized this at 42, when having a family is still possible. Remember her statement to him at the amusement park "Whats the worst part of being successful? Having no family to share it with".

And believe me, you're never too old to play games. The conflict we see inside her head is very real.

I think so. Her mom was right in telling her to slow down all along. She's on the rebound from a bad relationship and here Hyun-jae is her "white knight" who saves her. And let's face it, she's pretty insecure now, which has to be driving him nuts, to some point. She really does need to slow it down now, keep dating and accept his crazy work schedule, and concentrate on her startup business.

I thought it was really great how it did take him about a second after she walked out to chase after her. You could see the "Wait...what???" on his face for that brief instant, so in keeping with his character. Now he needs to go back in the restaurant with HJ and tell the blind date that he is dating HJ and they are a couple.

How they handle HJ's lie to Ms. Sun will be very interesting.

If I may ask one more question? How does Yoon Jae know that Hae Jun's refrigerator is always empty? Like many here have stated, they're my fave characters on the show, and this is a really funny running gag, not to mention all of her appliances on the kitchen counter looked unused (LOL), but I don't recall seeing him look in her fridge the night he slept on her couch. Maybe this was shot, edited out, but continuity forgot? Either way, looking forward to tonight's ep 15 here in LA.

-PS, I really love the series. I mostly watch Historical Dramas, but was drawn into this from watching "Bread, Love, Dreams" which locally aired in reruns here in LA earlier this year.

Hi Folks, a question I've not been able to figure out: Was it explained why Grandpa put his daughter (presumably by birth?) up for adoption, yet adopted Min Ho later on? (I'm guessing that was the timing).
