That scene in her bedroom with SeRi blew me away.....And although the character of SeRi leaves a lot to be desired, the actress playing her is amazing as well. She was outstanding from the last half of the episode to the end scene, which was just about perfect, beginning with the gulp/automatic blink when she saw Min Seo, to when her emotions overcame her when "Veronica" called her Mom. I've watched that scene 3 times, and it's just exceptional.
Wow, 32 was great but a tear-jerker at the end. Once again, the actress playing EunBin hits it out of the park. I'm convinced now that they are going to give her more to do, by bringing in her birth mom, prolly towards the end of the series to give more angst to SeRi who will reflexively feel threatened by her. Probably won't last for more than 1-3 episodes, but will be something to spice up the story.
PS- who is playing Director Baek? I've seen him before but can't place him, and the cast info here on MDL does not include him.
The "war" between the families is totally overblown. What enemies are ML grandpa and FL grandma, when…
I wasn't expecting (but should have been) Dr. Han's cynical reaction to SeRi's concern regarding her health. What did she expect her to do? Break out in tears? Sheesh. No wonder her two kids suffered under her control-freak tendencies.
That scene where uncle argues with his ex-wife in front of the ob-gyn clinic—I’ve watched it several times.…
I loved how he initially told her he wanted to hear the baby's heartbeat....not letting on right away that he KNEW she was scamming him. Very clever writing!
Glad the phony-pregnancy arc was quickly crushed. But when Dong Suk said she would raise the baby, it REALLY threw me for a loop. WOW. Great writing!
This actress has been in more dramas than I can count - SuJi & YuRi; Bravo My Life; Iron Family off the top of my head. She, like the Uncle character is a KBS veteran and you know they'll always give a steady performance when called on.
i am so curious about the gramps situation too- like what did that lady do? it's crazy to think she might be actually…
Agreed on the hospital call scene, as I had the same situation here in the States when the pre-op nurse called to give me instructions for my operation 2 days prior - my sister answered the phone and the caller just identified her as being from the Hospital and told her to have me call her back at this number.
Well, at this point....what are the odds that Hyun Bin/Eun Bin's birth mother returns as well? Along with her daughter (giving EunBin yet another half-sister).
I watched this as a PMY fan, and I'm not sure what to make of this series. It was hard to follow exactly what was going on for the first few episodes and I didn't like the style of editing. Once I finally figured out her life, it was OK I guess, the last couple of episodes were good. But this was not as enjoyable as "Her Private Life" for instance.
So it's official: Kim Chang Wan IS the runaway Grandfather! I need to go back to Ep1 and rewatch the scene with his cameo to when he was confronted by the Grandmother.
(note: he appears in the 28 min mark of Ep 1. and appears to not recognize the Grandmother when she accosts him).
I really don't get the casting of Kim Seung Soo as the FL father. I appreciate that he wants to expand his roles from the serious characters he's played in Historical Dramas. And he did that well in 3 Bold Siblings. But the character of Gong JuAhn is so clueless and goofy (those lapses of sudden laughter really bug me) that I feel he's a terrible fit for that role. I think Lee Myung Ho (who played the VP in For Eagle Bros) would have been a better fit. Oh well, just my opinion.
Can’t believe the main couple are still the greenest flag/least toxic couple I’ve ever seen. Honestly communicating…
I couldn't agree more: Ep 24 was kind of all over the place, and still confirms my belief that this is actually an office rom-com grafted onto a family drama. Because as scattered as the family drama side was, the whole office scenario and cast was terrific and has been consistently from Ep 1. And yeah, cancer story arc before the half-way point? Really????
Yeah now that you remind me of it... Grandma found a total look-alike.. or him??? in middle of ep 1, but the wife…
I think we saw her in the series around the time they were thinking of moving as one of the pharmacy's customers. I remember the actress as she was terrific in "Korea-Khitan War" as the long-suffering wife of Kang Gam-Chan.

I guess rules may be different in So Korea?
(note: he appears in the 28 min mark of Ep 1. and appears to not recognize the Grandmother when she accosts him).
