Oh hes in this one? when i got some time i will catch up on this drama i guess ^^. Haven't seen Jin Se Yeon in…
This is the first series I think I've seen both leads in....but not sure. It's kinda funny/sad that Dae Chul keeps getting cast as the unfortunate husband, but I'm glad he's having no problem getting work.

One thing that still bugs me is that, of all people, Kim Chang Wan had a brief appearance in Ep 1 as being someone mistaken for a critical missing person in the storyline. I can't figure out if he was in an uncredited cameo appearance, or if maybe we'll be seeing him later on in the series. The cast listing here hasn't been updated since the show debuted, which leaves me guessing. I've seen him in more series than I can remember (I like him because he's a really interesting guy) and don't recall him doing cameos before????

I thought Ep3 was great, Ep 4 kinda boring. I'm really interested in the leads, and their story is intriguing....all the background family/characters...MEH. But I get it, they have 50 eps to fill.

FWIW, I think Choi Dae Chul has a really great agent. This is the 3rd KBS weekender he's been in, in the last few years: The Real Has Come, Five Eagle Bros, and now Recipe for Love. I can't think of anyone else having that kind of record.

It is normal in this kind of dramas to have many characters. To have 2-3 kids. I think it is only cameo.
yeah I’ve just never seen so much crammed into one ep.
That being said, Ep 2 was MUCH better.

Well, Ep 1 left my head spinning.

It started out pretty great and a clever way to introduce the main cast, via the FLs Mom interview (which turned out to be far from the truth, and funny in its own way).

But for me it went off the rails with SO MANY CHARACTERS. How the heck am I supposed to keep track of all these people? And what on earth was the rush to introduce them all in the first episode....you've got 50 episodes to fill! It's pretty obvious that their budget is going towards the payroll for this series, thus the recycled sets from KBS daytime dramas and so many new (to me) faces from the KBS evening stable.

Question: is Kim Chang Wan (one of the busiest guys in show business) a cast member, or was that just a cameo for him????

Anyhow, I felt really good at the beginning of the show, but by the end I'd become so lost that I was tempted to turn it off. And for GOD'S SAKE...you bring the leads together at the END???? Sigh. I wouldn't even have known the ML was the ML except for going back and reading the summary here.

As is for a ton of other dramas
I've lost track of how many times they've used that set!

Was the previous one that bad huh?
I dropped it after the fourth episode, I just didn’t understand it And did not like the way the characters were written. I figured I’d go back after a few episodes and try it out again but everything I read in the comments pretty much convinced me not to.

All Right!

Now that the prior trainwreck is finally done, we can get started. Fingers crossed for this one: a little romance and laughs would be greatly appreciated!!!

Fingers crossed for this one....didn't care much for the current KBS showing. Nice to see Kim Seung Soo back again in a weekend drama after he pretty much stole the show in 3 Bold Siblings.

This was a really good drama and I'm glad I watched it. Slow burn? You bet, to say the least. But it's also pretty realistic in showing the reality of relationships where one party has been burned. I really liked how they handled the time skips, by showing the passing of the seasons, well done! Also kudos for: Casting - great cast and chemistry by the leads and all of the supporting actors were on-point. The production values were very good too, great visuals and backdrops to the outdoor scenes. And I did like how they were able to have the ML face his demons with his Mom's death by giving him the opportunity in the last few episodes (won't say more due to spoilers).

if you liked the manhua, you'll like this. It has more detail than the book, which I liked, but others ....not…
I really liked it because their story is very different than the usual romantic dramas. You see this very clearly in the book too.

I just did a Google search for “only for love, web novel” or “accidental love” web novel

I Just found out that this is the adaptation of manhua Accidental Love. Is this good? Should I watch it?
if you liked the manhua, you'll like this. It has more detail than the book, which I liked, but others ....not so much. Bai Lu & Dylan really bring the characters to life, which is both good and bad in a way. But I loved it, because it was so different.

Title Love Scout
I just finished it as well. there must be something wrong with me, lately I've been agreeing with the MDL ratings, LOL.

I liked it thanks to the great work by the cast. The Director of Photography did a great job too, the scenes were very well lit.

I agree the OST wasn't much to think about, and I've just gotten so accustomed to the 'childhood connection' thing that I've just come to accept it. My only gripe is that they never explained the cause of death of the oldest Woo son, and why it was implied his father was responsible somehow?

Other than that, I liked it. The ML is a great actor and had good chemistry with the FL.

I thought it was good. The Evil Baron arc was a bit much and could have been shortened but once it ended the show picked up again. Nice to see Historical Dramas again on KBS.

Title Love Scout
I am really enjoying this series. As someone who lived thru a similar situation at work, I appreciate how accurately it depicts the ML feelings and interactions with the FL.

And last nite, in Ep 7, I burst out in laughter when they played "You Are My Destiny", especially since I just rewatched the last episode of My Love From the Stars. HILARIOUS, and it took me a few seconds to regain my composure.

Saw some pictures of them tonight at the Weibo TV and Internet Video Summit and they’re so cute and close with…
It's one of my favorite dramas, but I like offbeat stories, and this is one of them. Might be best to read the online version novel first...google 'accidental love' which was what the title was supposedly to be. They are a fantastic couple, chemistry-wise, and I would love to see them paired up again. Heck, I like to see them just get married in real life, LOL.

If you keep an open mind, and just watch for their interactions, it's a great series, IMO.

This series was recently on heavy rotation on Kocowa's streaming Xumo channel. So it's hard to avoid watching it. It kinda grows on you, after the 2nd or 3rd watching, LOL.

I thought it was OK, and 7.5 seems to be about right. I really liked the OST & BGM. And the FL's fantasies were HILARIOUS and the highlight of the series for me.
On You Are My Hero Oct 31, 2025
This was a delight. An action-drama-medical romantic comedy. I don't know how they made it so intense at times. I still haven't watched the entire bus scene at the end! Too much for me! 9/10 for sure!

Sorry QoT or Goblin, this is still the Greatest Kdrama made, IMO. The perfect blend of comedy, romance, drama, and action. Perfect casting, tremendous acting, and the production team could do no wrong. In quiet moments, I still find myself drifting back to certain scenes in this drama. Thank you, Netflix for keeping it in your collection for viewing.
