At this point, I'm absolutely convinced the serial killer subplot will be the catalyst. They will then all encounter each other (EH/HY/ES) at the hospital and figure things out. I'm just not sure which way they'll go: HY hurt and ES runs into EH at her bedside or EH hurt saving HY and ES runs into her at his bedside?
HY needs a big dose of reality to see EH is her Knight in Shining Armor...this will be it. I'll guess in 2 weeks this will all happen...3 weeks tops.

Well.
47 was a really strange episode. Starts off great, with SW putting the pieces together and figuring "who-dun-it".
But then.... ES STUPIDLY tries to take the high road and is willing to forgive HY if she will apologize to her. But HY is defiant as she is delusional. So, ES does not get her apology, and thus is free to turn in HY. The only good thing here is SW is there as a backup for ES, so there is no way she's getting canned.
Then they throw in the SJ/MG scene at the cafe, which makes no sense to me, even given MG's clueless-ness.
The episode ends on a whimper: Who else does a distraught HY turn to? The guy she keeps in the "Break Glass in Emergency" box, her 'friend'. The ONLY guy she KNOWS who has feelings for her. OF COURSE, she calls him (this was probably the most realistic scene in the whole show). And like the fool that Grandpa said he was, EH is off on his stallion to rescue the Damsel In Distress. And we all know that his feelings for her will intensify after this....he's a cop, it's his nature to help people.

SIGH. But, what else did we expect him to do? Will he hug her? Wait til Monday, folks.

I think GaRam will push MG towards EA. They already have a bond, something MG is too dense to see. I can't see SJ being ANY kind of mother-figure to GR. What will be interesting is the upcoming conflict between EA and her Mom, who thinks MG is not good enough for her, while EA's attraction to MG/GR grows....add in the truth about EA's lineage, and it is going to get really messy with her family.

Sher, you mean "almost" lose his life? That might be interesting, seeing them (HY/ES) at the hospital, with a "what are you doing here?" scene.

Well, heck. If you saw 'The Love in Your Eyes', Ep 46 should have been familiar, as they cloned the coffee truck order scene almost exactly...sigh. The only difference was that the production company didn't get praised in the media for contributing to charity.

I haven't checked the spoilers below, so maybe they can close up this pointless mess and get back to good writing as we had before. The only positive I can think of at this point is that HY gets the reality check she needs and drops her stupid obsession. (I can hear everyone in the forum saying 'FAT CHANCE').

Subtlety is not the writers forte here, however. We can pretty much see they are setting up the HY/EH relationship vis-a-vis the serial killer subplot. This should be interesting (I think).

We've seen worse behavior by a jealous female before, and that character got redeemed, so brace yourself.

As far as HY/EH goes, I can see them getting together later on, without his knowledge of what she did to ES. Once he finds out, the conflict between them would make for good drama (depending on how far they take HY's jealousy).

Just watched Ep 45, and it was one of the most disappointing ones yet. This is disheartening, coming on the heels of a series of several good episodes in the last couple weeks.
1. Will SOMEONE please knock some sense into EH? He won't listen to his co-worker - if you're going to give her a gift, GO ALL IN. What have you got to lose if she says she can't be with you because she's attracted to someone else? Is he the loser he says he is? JEEZ! If you have feelings for her, FIGHT FOR HER!
2. The closing shot of HY standing around the corner, once again, Snidely Whiplash-style. She's the 'Evil Mastermind' I guess. Writers! Make her more than one-dimensional, for crying out loud.

Just when this series was getting good, too - they toss us this Turkey for Thanksgiving. BOOOOOOOO

OMG, I still remember when the adoptive mother slapped her! That was INTENSE.

It's funny. The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced: He's going to rescue her somehow from a life-or-death situation and that's when she'll snap out of it and see him for what he is. It's part of WHY they wrote his character as a policeman.

they might as well go for the fake suicide attempt. In fact, they just might, and EH finds and "rescues" her. Actually, this makes sense now that I think about it. Maybe that's the moment she realizes he's the one for her????

Oh Lord, this SAME EXACT SCENARIO played out in TLIYE, when HaeMi falsified an order and blamed it on the FL. C'mon, writers!

Exactly! The writers are as obsessed with her, as she is with SW.

I can't speak for SK societal norms, but just giving her a gift like that out of the blue, sent up warning flags for me. I can see it MAYBE exchanging it when she returns his jacket, or at xmas time, but not yet. He knows she's got her eye on another man...The only problem I had with that scene was that she was too quick to put it back. I would have given her 5 more seconds to linger at her looking at the scarf and then giving him the eye. That was too quick of a reaction, IMO.
I'd rather he just ask her straight out: Why is a woman as attractive as you chasing after a man who is not interested in you?
Then again, they don't pay us to write the script for this show.

Well, I'll give it to EH: he tries, friend-zone or not. But, he should know better - listen to your co-worker, EH!

I'm really saddened they decided to write her as so over-the-top delusional. So unnecessary. I think the audience is smart enough to appreciate some subtlety.

Hate the character, but I really like the actress....she's pretty darn good.

That was The Love in Your Eyes (character HaeMi, aka HATE ME).

When he told her to call her 'oppa' and she got embarrassed and pulled her hoodie over her head, I was grinning wildly. That was such a sweet touch.

Ep43 That phone call was so cute. SangJi just makes me smile. She is GREAT.

And the fact they found a little bridge for them to do their confession on, made that part even sweeter.
