I like your 2nd scenario. I think they both (KS & MR) need some time to take account of their lives before they…
Do you really think they were married in TLIYE? My impressions was because of the issues between the 2 families (her in-laws would never accept it), marriage was out of the question....and they just decided to live together.
What if the beach scene of KS, MR, and JD is a day away for the 3 of them before JD leaves to go with the person…
I like your 2nd scenario. I think they both (KS & MR) need some time to take account of their lives before they move on. Maybe the last scene is JD/KS greeting her at the airport on her return in a year? I dunno. I give up with this show.
Why am i seeing in the preview that MR has cancer??? So she wasnt the donor because they found out she has bone…
That would actually be an interesting twist: The donation procedure uncovers a serious illness. They could have her treated for it too, and the donation would save both Jenny and MR. THAT I could accept more than what they are doing.
I don't usually do this, but 3 brief takeaways from the unsubbed YT clips: -I can't believe Sher was right about MR being the donor. -I feel like I should have the word "SUCKER" on my forehead -Thank God for SD. We knew this was coming. He is the ONLY one in that house who realizes the gravity of what SJ did to his son. Even his son doesn't fully grasp it because he can't step outside his persona and see what has been going on. Maybe only SS does too.
It's really a bleak and disturbing series. It would be a joke to end it with smiles. Maybe just KS and JD walking…
Agreed. TLIYE biggest problem was the lack of chemistry between the leads. Which for me, made the idea of a romantic relationship between them improbable. A lot of this is on the ML actor, though. Plus the lack of consistency of the FL's character - she was a treat when she was allowed to be bold and decisive, but was usually in the doormat mode. But, still, a better story than this, and they did the leukemia bit better too.
An update was done back in 2013 when the baby was graduating college! https://www.cbsnews.com/losangeles/news/woman-conceived-in-1988-to-save-sisters-life-graduates-college/
Boy, they're really going out with a bang. Watching this show is depressing enough, I can't imagine how the actors/actresses feel dealing with this on a daily basis.
It really needs to be repackaged somehow as a more macabre series. All SJ sees her oldest daughter is as 'spare parts' for her beloved younger daughter.
It reminds me of a story in the news years ago....A woman had a child ill with some kind of disease for which a transplant was needed (I don't remember the specifics) but finding a donor was almost impossible. So she and her husband decided to have a child specifically to be raised as an organ donor for their sick child. It was really a weird story that created a lot of debate about humanity and science. You might remember better than me.
Sher, that silly MIL is telling KS to "go out and live his life" in the preview. What a wretch.......and KS is…
I'm guessing she finally feeling guilty for how she's treated a man who isn't even her granddaughters father. She SHOULD tell him, that if he wants, he's done more than his duty and can leave with all their appreciation.
I have been here every minute of this drama, daily, since March 27 and it is now Sept 13. I have met some pretty…
Between this and TRHC, I feel like we've run a marathon and are within sight of the finish line. I am just beaten up by these two messes and am running out of things to say.
This show especially frustrates me, because they could EASILY fit all the plot elements they wanted into 120 episodes. Full treatment of :MR/Dongie, Dong's plot to take over HDF, what happened to sidepiece, MR/KS romance, SJ backstory including fake suicide, her life in USA, etc, Aunty/DH, maybe even some insight into SS/JJ story (whats' REALLY going on in Canada). and on and on....
Just like TRHC, the best part of this show was this forum and everyone making this show palatable. Without you all, I would have torn my hair out watching it. If they had only listened to us, we could have written a so much better story, with all the intrigue we speculated on. I look back at some of the theories here and just shake my head how they didn't even think of exploring them.
