I keep getting the feeling that I missed something....like the show is an inside joke that I'm not privy to. It should be funnier/more interesting than it is for me at this point.

It doesn't happen by then, we know we're in for a mess, just like with AOME. The leads romance is supposed to drive this series.

I'm getting the funny feeling, like we had on TRHC, that there are more than one writer here and they are not talking to each other, which explains the inconsistencies.

I'm more confused than anything else. While AOME was the 'champion of going round in circles' I feel like we are VERY slowly peeling off the layers of an onion to see what is really going on. If they do one more 'chance-meeting' between the 2 exes with out them realizing it, though, I'm going to get really disappointed.... two of those scenes is enough. I realize we still have 100 episodes to go, but really, no more of this.

Among the things that has me confused lately is that both of the 'kids' seem to have no recollection of their birth mother??? In the flashback they seemed to be 5 years old when she left? Yet they don't remember going to the dumpling place with their birth mom? Is this realistic?
And the chicken fryer didn't remember the name of her husband's ex? That was inconsistent with a previous episode, wasn't it?

I'm on vacation now so I'm a bit distracted, but I think they need to make things a bit clearer on the backstory at this point.

One little tidbit that I found funny is that in the scene at the cafe where the detective brother (sorry, I am still having trouble associating names and faces) gives the shoes to the producer woman, is that the background music was one of the songs from the 3BS soundtrack.

I spoke too soon! We got a flashback today and it was interesting how they made the 3 parent look younger.

One thing I find interesting about this show is how they are dealing with the backstory. I'm used to one of two approaches: They start in the past, with a few eps showing the leads prior life (ala BML, KtL) then time skip to the present, or, the more common approach in Historical Dramas where we open in the present, then flashback for an ep or two to the past to see how/why things happen.
This show is waiting until we're 10 eps in (at least) to start giving us the backstory to the characters past via dialog in the present. It seems like everything in this show is kind of different (to me, at least).

Yeah, I was shocked to see that, especially given how much we were accustomed to being dragged along by AOME. I'll watch Ep 11 here in a few mins while having dinner.

Color me confused.....at the end of today's ep (11), the exes walk past each other and look at each other. Yet, in the previews of 12, there is no mention of it????? They don't even recognize each other's face?

Bear in mind, that in AOME, this wouldn't happen until Ep 70 or so.....

This episode both asked and answered questions at the same time. I kept waiting for them to introduce some kind of backstory into the dialog.
So now, as has been posted, I'm trying to figure out the bloodlines of the kids (director & FL's friend) in that household.

TLIYE was messed up on so many levels. The only good thing about it, was that the child actress who played MinRinAe won the KBS award last December for young actor of the year. She WAS really good. I'm not sure if the prior daily's (BML) child actor who played HimChan won as well? He was great too!

Me too, I like the way the play off each other. Too early to call it chemistry, but they are fun to watch.

Ha Young is the producer who is infatuated with the ML? I'm still trying to place names with faces.

I know, and I'm going to give it a few more eps. I really dislike the theme of a woman being manipulated to support her family, as this hits home for me with someone that is very dear to me (long story), plus it gives me the whole YeonDoo vibe.

I have to rewatch episode 8 to remember where we left off! FWIW, KBS America has those games on Primetime Sunday, so I'm not even sure if the weekend series aired this weekend.

Not gonna lie, I broke up laughing when she kicked that can of coke and it hit him. That was pretty funny.

I know, it's hardly "War and Peace" but it's light and cute; after AOME & TRHC, I need something like that.

The FL is kind of a kook, but it works for me since it's such a departure for Sang Ji from Seo DongHee in BML, that I enjoy watching her portray this character.

That's what has me confused...In the shot of her bedroom on Friday, it was nowhere to be seen. And I think he called his phone back and it didn't even ring, so the battery has died by now? I'm not really sure.

I didn't think she might have left it back at the theater.
