I think this show has made me seeing things. In yesterday's episode, look at the 'moms' that came to the art academy. Isn't the one on the left the actress who played the side piece???? Am I losing it????

100% . When I saw that I thought, well she would NEVER take him back after that. How does he explain? I sincerely hope they are bold enough to end with them separated. Happy Endings get more remote by the day.

This whole show needs a redemption arc.

That's a really good question, but I can't give an honest answer as I only saw a couple of eps of YLAG. It's reputation here is pretty notorious, though.
We were spared any amnesia plot here (happened 2 times in YLAG, I'm told). And TK's mom was in YLAG too.

I think if you post that question at the top, by itself you can get an answer from someone who actually saw both and can give you a more qualified answer.

He REALLY needs to be careful with his next role.

They did exactly that in the prior daily. I think actually about 15 mins? The worst was that the MIL, who was really a rotten person, was suddenly redeemed and Miss Congeniality at a birthday party she hosted just before the final scene. It was really icky, and everyone here was complaining about that scene. If they do that here, this will be my first kdrama that I will just skip the ending. The one I wrote in my mind would be more fitting for me.

Yeah, just like the last few weeks of TRHC, the cast here has been shuffling around sleep-walking. There is almost zero energy to it, with the exception of YJ's crush on Dongie.

I saw the Bumpy Family promo too, I am so hoping SangJi can pull it off for 120 episodes and bring some life back to dailys. I'm not sure I want to know why she's wearing a cat costume, but she looks so cute and healthy now, I can't wait til next Monday.

DH lifts weights for fun. Big Dong lifts pencils. DH would snap that clown in half if he had a mind to. But he needs to be a good boy, he can't afford to go back to prison.

Several years ago, there was a show called, I think "King of Dramas". One of the characters was a writer for a series and it depicted this kind of stuff IIRC. It was kind of interesting, but all over the place. And being a true drama, it did not have the 'happy ending' we're used to.

I just can't believe the writers would be so bold as to have them break up thru the end, although, I admit I've been hoping for that for a while now. These shows are all about the Happy Ever After ending, which KS doesn't deserve at this point and neither does MR. She can do better. Even if SJ should suddenly disappear again, MR would still have to deal with HD and her passive-aggressive ways.

For KS, The Meek might inherit the Earth, but in the meantime they get the shit beat out of them in this world. And being meek and submissive is irritating enough, but he needs to be valiant in defending MR. And like we've all said, he is not. And it just gets worse every episode, that is what is really making me mad. Though I've never been a huge MR fan, how do we stand by while all this is being piled upon her?

Wow. This (117) was a really powerful and critical episode. It was all about important decisions.

-JD does the right thing, on her own. Interesting how she waffles between maturity and immaturity, but I guess that what a teenager does. This young actress is so impressive.
-I'm in disbelief that I agree with everything CR says. Yes, send MR abroad to forget about things there, but I don't know if I'd trust her on her own. She really makes some bad choices at times.
-Why do I get the feeling Dongie is probing to see if MR is available again?
-KS realizes what he should do. He is a victim of circumstance, sure. But his personality and lifestyle choices is responsible for that victimhood too.
-It makes sense for MR to quit. But I hate that she's always reluctant to admit anything to her family. At least they know by now that her silence speaks volumes.

And as I was posting this, it hit me. SJ will keep blackmailing KS with JD's bloodline until she gets what she wants, because he's too weak and fearful of the truth coming out. And NOW we know why HoRang was told the truth too. SHE will intervene and expose everything to help KS against SJ. I wonder if I'm right? This has to happen SOON, if at all!

I hope Uee's drama is better! I've never seen her so I'm hopeful but have my escape route (Once Again, Father is Strange, etc) planned out just in case. I need to learn my lesson from this one to not get sucked in when it gets sucky.
Your recaps have been GOLD here and so much fun. I am sorry that you got so involved with this, especially given how we have no say at all in what is going back on in Seoul, and they disregard us. Your outrage has kept me in stitches at times, and I'm relieved you won't have to get so worked up anymore.
