At this point, especially after this week, what I want to see is KS doing some self-reflection on what his life is, and how he handles stressful situations. What woman would want to be with a man so weak that she can't count on him to protect her from the bad people he allows in HIS life? I wish they would be realistic with MR and have her gently tell him, that he is not able to give her the things she wants in a relationship and for him to figure out things for himself.
KS really needs to get his life together and determine what he wants to be and make some intelligent choices for once. The inevitable Happy Ending is going to seem so ridiculous. KS has been in a boatload of bad things in his life, he really needs a counselor to talk to, so he can approach life differently. Maybe instead of the final scene I proposed last week ( a married MR sees him handing out fliers for SJ years later) the series should end with MR breaking up with him and telling him these things, and we cut to a scene of him walking into a psychiatrist's office and the door closing. That would be a lot more fitting to me and I could forgive a lot of the writer's sins if they were that honest with us.
I hated today’s episode. My irritation is, once again, KS. Like Loelha said - walking into the house after getting…
(just rewatched that last scene). He DOES go in to separate SJ from the family (correctly), but then he did the usual KS brain-freeze and instead of dragging her out of the house, he stands there silently, like his CPU is busy running background applications. I truly wonder at times if KS is really all-there, mentally speaking.

I especially agree with your first point. When they walked in together, my jaw dropped and I thought WHAT IS THIS?? 2nd point - when she said the word 'remarried' I kept waiting for SOMETHING.
Im still on ep 60 of it. I sorta put it on hold because of this drama. I should have just finished it instead.
It gets there, don't worry. They will have a lot of issues to work out and that's one of the reasons the back half of this series is so good. Plus, the leads had really good chemistry too....She is a strong, moral woman and he REALLY loves her. I'd love to see them paired again.
I thought today's episode was fine, it's just the previews that are getting people upset. SJ is delusional and…
The episodes are not bad, it's just the helter-skelter nature of the storyline now that is off-putting. Again, the pacing is break-neck speed compared to what we complained of for 50+ episodes.
In this one, every time I see SJ putting food in front of JD, I keep thinking "she's fattening her up for the kill", ala the Twilight Series Episode "To Serve Man". And now that everyone knows everything (except JD secret) next week will go by even quicker, thankfully. Maybe JD secret is just going to be left unsaid, if there is no place for it. We all know (suspect) that SJ will head back to USA once this matter is settled, whether to not she takes Jenny is up in the air, for me.
As Sher notes below, KS continues as the most unimpressive ML in Kdrama-land. Enough said. If "The Meek shall inherit the Earth", he's got it made with MR by Ep 121. Which, IMO would ruin the whole series. But anyways.....
The bit where SJ just barges into the Hwang home really points to everything wrong now: In other series, we'd at least see a frantic housekeeper trailing her screeching that this lady just barged past her. Here, they don't even bother with that detail, making the scene so unbelievable. This missed details keep adding up and make the plot a joke.
I know I'm in the vast minority about Aunty Ding. I really do enjoy their story-line, but at this point it's so out of place, it's too jarring. The should have done the whole SJ returns story arc 40 episodes ago, and gotten that out of the way for Dingy/DH and KS/MR. But that's not what we got.
Kudos again to the young actress playing JD. I detest the character, but she is doing a fantastic job with her.
With two episodes to go, here are my final thoughts. I was thinking about why I found this drama interesting in…
"Of course, one can say "Why are you getting worked up so much ? It is just fiction." And because it is fiction, we expect better work from those who make these imaginary worlds."
I wasn’t going to punish myself today by watching the subs but like a fool I did anyway. Unless KS makes a stand…
Sigh, I just finished my workout and lunch and am going to watch it now. Here goes nothing (again).
I will say this much: I do like the pacing and speed at which things are going. The bad news is the plot is silly and they are rushing so fast that the plot holes left in their wake are gaping at this point.

you've got some great moments coming up. Ep 103 especially, I have it bookmarked. Maybe the sweetest scene ever. From 102 on, every episode is almost a 10. The FL & ML were so good in it too. It's funny, that show had everything this one lacks.
I'm putting my faith in Sangji and hoping she wouldn't pick a clunker concept.
Plus Lee Dae Yeon is in it, and I hope he plays her Dad. They had such excellent chemistry in BML. Plus he's a veteran enough actor to avoid a shady script too.
For the timeline's sake....SJ left them 10 years ago. And JD is 15? meaning she was 5 when SJ left. Thus, how old would Jenny be? I can't tell from looking at her. Is she 5 or 6? Maybe older?
Not much time to deal with all that crap. If this was the 70th episode, I would say yes.
Agreed. I can easily see this bunch giving us something like we skip to a scene AFTER KS/MR wedding, MR is preggo, JD smiling, no mention of SJ & Jenny, CR is all accepting and happy, they are visited by DH/Dingy and their baby, JH/YJ announce their engagement, etc. Everything tied up neatly.
Hahaha Soo Ji was ready to take a swing. HR really needs to step in on these situations, as things always happen…
When did they suddenly lobotomize HR? where is our pushy, feisty man-chaser???? Why bother having HS tell her about JD secret? I guess the writers forgot about that one too.
I don’t think it will even. end resolved. We might get 5 minutes tops on the finale but I’m not holding out…
If they actually allow the doctor to do this, despite her reservations, this wouldn't be the first time a daily has made a farce of SK medicine. (Not to mention why would the Dr. do it then? She should refuse to perform the procedure)
In TLIYE, they actually had a child leukemia patient get out of bed and walk out of the hospital unchallenged by any staff! To make matters worse, when the frantic mother asked a nurse if anyone had seen her missing daughter she nurse nonchalantly said "No", and walked away!!! I kept expecting protest letters from the SK Hospital Assn or Nurses Union over that one.
And again KS drops his head at the end of the scene instead of dragging SJ out by her hair or whatever else he…
I haven't seen today's yet, but at this point, unlike before, I can't blame CR. I would do the same as MR's Dad. "You're a nice guy, and have been good to our family, but I cannot trust you to protect my daughter from the bad elements in your family."

BRAVO! Comment of the Day!
