The PD said there's gonna be a wait until S3 because he said the staff are all very tired now
ahhh, I can imagine. the production team is likely under so much pressure to work on a follow up season any time soon. I bet scouting potential participants will have to be done so meticulously next time around, considering how this season’s casts were all so interesting with varied professions and lives. I agree that they are likely outsourced because of season 2. I guess I’m feeling the void of not being able to wait every week to see a new episode, that I don’t know what to look forward to 😅. I’ll just try to re-watch this season again from the start, and reminisce the good old times.
a fan posted the CGV finale viewing. did Simon D confirmed S3 😱?! also, saw some pictures of the casts being spotted on multiple occasions by fans. the gang had a meet up in Sinsadong/Garosugil area, and went to a Photo Booth for Halloween. In the light of what happened in Itaewon last night, I hope and pray all of them had a safe celebration 🙏🏻.
rumors about the final couples DID came true. I wasn’t a fan of the HaeEun - HyungGyu love trail, but found myself ecstatic to see that they ARE REALLY dating post-production 😊😍. congratulations to both of them, and hope it lasts. TaeI and NaEon was also the one I was looking forward to see because they were the only couple that was confirmed dating a while back, since they were spotted dating in Lotte World. So yay ❤️💘🫰🏻!!!
Like I said, I have a soft spot for Jiyeon, and it was hard to see that scene of her by herself talking on the phone with Heedo - only for him to tell her he thought of her only as a “dongsaeng.” that was 💔. But she took it like a champ, and I was relieved that she was back to her cheery self. I hope she gets to go on that internship to Boston for her major. Most importantly, I hope this show serves a good lesson for her to be a better version of herself; in both love & life. Fighting 👊🏻!
good luck to everyone in whatever endeavors they’ll be pursuing.
oh, is it?! seems new to me since it looked like it was posted on 10/23. Cuz not too long ago, I saw another picture from a fan of Nayeon being spotted in Hannamdong drinking with some friends/colleagues.
Yeah, I’m actually aware of TaeI and Jisoo’s disposition.
I know she’s no longer a part of the show, but this was recently aired for Korea’s Harper’s Bizare. Seems like the rumors about Yihyun getting some modeling gigs post the show is true:
I also saw an interview of Nayeon, yesterday. I’m not fluent in Korean, but I believed they asked her about Transit Love. She is wearing a 💍 on her wedding finger. Looks similar to the one that Heedo and her got (Cartier couple ring). Is that to give hint she’s still with him 🤔?
Nayeon & Heedo 🤦🏻♀️. All that love you have for each other is useless, if there’s no compromise. In the end, you’ll ended being miserable because it won’t ever change. Nayeon stated Heedo is her 1st love, but 1st love aren’t always meant to be.
I’m glad Wonbin is ok after the talk with Jisoo. He can finally be at peace with himself. No regrets.
HaeEun & Gyumin can finally put their situation to rest. Although they didn’t get to have a final dinner like they wanted, I felt that their final date together brought amicable closure to their relationship. I wouldn’t be surprise if they stay friends after this.
Heedo’s date with Jiyeon was like a final hurrah for both. That’s why the production team probably extended their date and scenes together. Not gonna lie, they look good together. Heedo cried out of guilt more like. He feels like he’s betraying Nayeon because he actually enjoys Jiyeon’s company. Also, I think he’s scared that if he does get with Jiyeon he finally met his match in terms of personality; both have strong characters. She could be the girl that will actually “tame” him in the long run, and Heedo might not be prepared for that…at least not yet. So it’s likely why he’s conflicted with who weighs more in his heart. Jiyeon has a fiery personality, it takes a strong man to handle a girl like her. She’s also still at an age, where she’s exploring her life choices, and I don’t know if Heedo can keep up with her in that aspect. But she did state she wants stability in a relationship, so she might be ready for a “serious” relationship. Idk?!
Next week is the finale. Anyone doing anything special? I read that due to the popularity of the show, that the production will be holding a screening of the final episode to some lucky fans. TVing will also do a live stream to prevent spoiling the final couples. I’m sad because I never thought i’d be invested watching shows like this. It’s my 1st k-reality dating show where I actually watched the entirety of. I love all the casts because they bonded and develop friendships despite it being each other’s rivals/competition. The situation with Yihyun was what got me to watch it, but I ended up staying because the remaining casts, and those that got added anchored the show with their stories and personalities, and just their over all vibe. I’m gonna missed them a lot so I have to be prepared to have some void for a while, until a new season comes. But the production team has got big shoes to fill though, lol. I wish everyone their best, no one deserves hate. I hope friendships do develop outside of the show because I heard them talking candidly about meeting back in Seoul and having dinner together. It was the best season for me 👍🏻.
I have a soft spot for Jiyeon too 🥺. I get where the criticism is coming from due to her bluntness and actions,…
That scene was honestly hard to watch, tbh 😔. It wasn’t just HyungGyu scolding her, but after watching it again, there was definite tension between him and Jiyeon. The general consensus applaud him for being firm about rejecting her, but I had a different vibe from the whole situation. He was kind of being a “jerk” (rather subtly) to her just so he can get his points across. I remember when he entered the show, and he looked hella nervous after introducing himself to everyone. Jiyeon was one of the 1st casts to reach out to him and gave him a snack to make him feel comfortable. Then on the second day, when she came to the kitchen area, he asked her to roll up his sleeves. So Jiyeon must have thought that the gesture was an invitation for them to get close and even to get to know one another; by this time, the situation with Heedo was becoming bleak. This is a dating show after all, it’s only natural to find another match with a different participant if their current state is not doing so good. So I don't blame her for being upset with HyungGyu for not picking her for the date. She was reading him wrong, and even he said, “there was miscommunication between him and Jiyeon.” But because she acted rather childish with the outcome of the date, it sadly backfired on her. Same thing with how everyone thinks that she gaslighted NaEon on picking Gyumin. But wasn’t NaEon the one who brought up Gyumin to Jiyeon, and how she’s conflicted who to pick between him and TaeI. Jiyeon might have influenced NaEon’s date pick, but the decision was ultimately under NaEon’s hands and no one else. In the end, Jiyeon’s “interference” actually helped solidified HaeEun’s growing feelings for HyungGyu. The same with NaEon questioning TaeI’s interest in her, she now knows how TaeI feels about her. So Jiyeon whom everyone thinks is sabotaging every couple, is unknowingly getting them even closer. I just hope for the best for her, she’ll have plenty more experience when it comes to love.
Jiyeon being queen again yall hate that shes iconic sorry dfkhdsjklgjh atleast she owns up to the shit she does…
I have a soft spot for Jiyeon too 🥺. I get where the criticism is coming from due to her bluntness and actions, but I do think it’s due to her feeling like she got ghosted by her love interest (Heedo). So she’s acting impulsively/abrasive because she hasn’t learned how to contain her emotions yet. The criticism is valid, but I don’t think it warrants hate for her. She probably feels embarrassed watching these episodes now, but at that moment she just wants to express her emotions and anger even if it means humiliation on her part. I hope that she can develop to a much better version of herself after this.
ep 18 sneak peak; the episode picks up where it left off on ep 17. Why am I getting nervous during the date picks discussion 🥺? https://youtu.be/YKBzM8_aXEs
I’m likely in the minority here regarding Jiyeon’s actions lately. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve called out her behavior before, but I don’t think she’s that bad a person to be labeled as a villain. I believe her actions are brought on by what’s been happening regarding her love interest, and she response to it rather impulsively due in part to her age and inexperienced in life/love. But I also think, she deals with it more of a defense mechanism like using TaeI as an excused to validate her feelings after being rejected by the guy(Heedo) she thought was on the same page as her.
After the ex-room visit, she ultimately decided to text Heedo, even though TaeI was on her mind that night. This gives me an idea, that she wanted to explore “something” with Heedo rather than going back to something familiar (which is TaeI). She even confessed that she wouldn’t be able to comeback if she had sent it to TaeI. Meaning, she understood the consequences it will have on her had she done that. So she was willing to take the risk of finding out more about another guy, and took a different route. However, the outcome was not what she was expecting. She told Heedo during their lunch date (prior to the Jeju relocation), it will ultimately comes down to who Heedo will pick for their next date. Up until this point, all the dates were initiated by her. And Heedo asked her out only 1 time, and it was still unofficial at this point: meaning, the production team was not involved in the date discussion - it was only amongst the casts.
So fast forward to Jeju; I can understand why she’s acting this way. She feels rejected by the guy she thought liked her (Heedo), and TaeI is obviously moved on with his love interest, that he doesn’t have room for her in his heart. I do believe he cares a lot about her; after all, he was the one who invited her to participate in this show so he feels responsible for her. We get a glimpse of him consoling her when she cried after the Jeju pairing, and he joined her during that late night pasta dinner. so there’s obviously no bad-vibes between them.
On to how viewers think that she was manipulating NaEon about TaeI’s feelings for her. Again, I don’t think it’s out of malice intent. I think she was actually testing NaEon’s attraction to TaeI, knowing that he’s not an easy person to get to know. Jiyeon was testing NaEon’s loyalty by pushing Gyumin who also NaEon wants to get to know. I genuinely think Jiyeon worries about TaeI to not get his feelings hurt, rather than actually getting back with him. She’s concern for his well being, and him investing his feelings to another individual; hopefully to be reciprocated back. But it comes off as someone manipulating the budding romance between her ex and a new girl. And in the end, she told NaEon that she still wants to pick Heedo over TaeI; gives me an idea, that she’s willing to let go of TaeI if NaEon’s feelings for him is true.
Overall, I root for her happiness and her growth as an individual. She’s got a lot of growing up to do, so I hope this show helps her reflect on her actions and help her grow as a person. I hope she doesn’t loose her free spirit, and love is about experiences; both happiness & heartbreaks. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don’t. Life lessons at its finest!
TaeI rescuing NaEon after she wandered off in the strong current ❤️. And removing off sands from her back when they got to the shores…TaeI seems genuinely happy 🥹☺️🥰. Seems like “spoilers” is true 👍🏻.
I skipped you-know what couple’s scenes 😏…it’s seriously exhausting to watch 🙄.
HaeEun & HyungGyu’s date was so pure 😊.
And despite all the jealousy, misunderstandings, and drama, I love how everyone seems to bond and care for one another. Wonbin being consoled by TaeI, Jiyeon, & Heedo. Heedo and Jisoo hanging out for some alone time. Everyone being worried when HaeEun cried during the ex-date pick. I may not like some of the predicted end couples, but I hope they develop long-term friendships after this. Even TaeI & Heedo are less-cold to each other now, cause I was worried since Heedo picked Nayeon for the Jeju date. I’m sure TaeI had major concerns for Jiyeon considering she cried the night before the trip. And their arrivals was met with luke-warm reception, but I’m glad it got resolved at the end of the first night. The end is near, I will DEFINITELY miss this season’s casts mates the most 🥺🥹. I got so invested, that I get anxious every week.
btw: is anyone feeling nervous now with the text messages? I seriously get anxiety when they get text messages - or not. Cause now they know who sent who’s text.
Also, what was the "Maybe I am fooled by familiarity," Hee Doo?!? He's really unpredictable for me tbh
If the spoilers are true, then I’m glad Jiyeon didn’t end up with Heedoo. Nayeon & Heedoo “deserve” each other, if they wanna continue with that kind of path. It’s not the healthiest, but it works for them 😏. The only sad thing is, they wanna try to get other parties involved in their mess, and end up hurting those around them. Both are selfish, and I hope they realize that after the show. She’s the trophy gf, and he’s her “cool-athlete bf.” It’s only a matter of time before they countdown to another break-up 🙄.
Lol. Knetz wanted them back together cuz they know they won’t last.
I’d hate to see the finale when Jiyeon picks Heedo, and he’d pick NaYeon in the end 😔. But Jiyeon is young, she’ll move on, it’s a good learning experience.
Lol. HyungGyu is very young, almost baby like appearance. He could pass for an idol tbh. I read he’s a MENSA member as well; which right up NaEon’s alley, with her being in law school. I didn’t really feel that strong of an impression when he came in, maybe because he’s very young, and that he got thrown into the mix with older casts, and an established group at that. Now I’m weary if HaeEun would open up to him when they go on their date, but we’ll see how this plays out in the end.
*spoiler*
I already saw some stuff regarding who ended up with who. So I’m just gonna enjoy the last 5 episodes, as if I didn’t see it coming already 🤪.
