I agree with a comment below that this drama isn't 'mind-blowingly good'-like it's not making me swoon and faint…
True! this drama isn't something to raaaave about. It wouldn't top the best Asian series out there but BUT but but if you're into realistic, slice-of-life, light drama to binge after a long work-day, this will surely makes you happy.
with Li Dai gone, it seems like Mr. Qiao took Qin Shi as his new gossip buddy :D
I love these workmate trio, sad that Li Dai is no longer with the two, but I'm happy at the same time that she's no longer a lapdog to their boss. I wish QS will realize the same.
Have you noticed that Qin Shi's personality here is so realistic? I mean, no screaming-like-a-fool FL -- no matter how embarrassed she is or in a freakin awkward situation, she managed to be composed like an adult. This is soooo new, I'm screaming.
Also, Hang Yua, despite being in love, managed to have a consistent personality. Most MLs when in love, are portrayed as if we're seeing the same actor playing an entirely different character. He still has his principles; the only difference is now there is this goddess added to his bubble.
Truth be told, I am not that interested in the cases; I feel like there's not enough screen time for our CP to satisfy me. I need more of them!
PS: I'm starting to get annoyed with Wu Fei, gimme back my lovely innocent girl! Now, my favourite character is the cunning and practical LI DAI!
I love Yang Mi and Xukai's characters here. They are both level-headed and reasonable. (Of course except for the marriage of convenience part which is the plot itself) No shouting, mary-sue FL or controlling CEO ML. The characters were given enough time to know one another, and we all know, that they are both attracted to each other at some level, before resorting and sealing their partnership with a red card (marriage) -- Which I think is not typical with your favourite contract marriage troop.
My favourite characters aside from the 2 mains would probably be the innocent and beaming Wu Fei and the badass BFF Meimei.
I am looking forward to the character development of the wayward Wen Yu(YM's brother) and Jun Hui (WF's fiancee).
TBH, I don't want this to end, I can watch this for a year. Good thing we have 40 episodes to enjoy! So light-hearted!
When are we gonna get to see in Kyung in nice clothes like in Joo? I am not liking her tied up hair and oversized…
I think this one is an interesting reference to the book -- where the eldest was always dressed elegantly for parties so she can meet potential husbands. lol
While Jo March on the other hand (the 2nd sister) never really cared about her appearance and was a bit tomboyish -- which is consistent with Inkyung's wardrobe.
Good thing, this has no romance tag, imagine my fear of InKyung's childhood friend getting married to the third sister in the end XD
- I don't wanna judge InHye the youngest sister just yet, she might turn out to be the wildcard revealing the rich family's stink.
- And please don't treat InJoo as if she's dumb (well she is most of the time) by sticking to the villains. They say, keep your friends close but your enemies closer. That's what she doing rn.
- And obviously, things will turn around in the next episodes since Halmoni is dead, for sure the two sisters (InKye + InJoo) will join force. I'm excited about their Singapore trip.
I need more sister-brother interactions between Young Woo and her lil bro! Gosh, can't believe that I have to wait 2 more years for season 2. No rush writer-nim, take your time to brew us a soothing story.
A cry a bucket for this week's video T.T I mean for the 8th episode. The back-story of her father's plea on a rainy day and the confrontation scene with her mother is just heart breaking. To be honest, I can't blame her mom I just hope we'll see her make it up for Young Woo in the coming episodes.
I hate Min Woo too, don't get me wrong, but i like the idea that our beloved Young Woo is not "loved" by everyone, because let's be real, no matter how adorable you are there will always be "that" person who's gonna hate.
Someone explain what’s happening.
