Some of my favorite things about this: - Acting: how well they portrayed the tension, yearning, emotions of someone 18/19 years old.. the angst, the confusion at that age.. so well done! - Cinematography: the colors, hello? Everything was so beautiful and healing to the eyes.. so many scenes were so well composed.. as if you could make wallpapers out of all of them. The focus on certain scenes like their hands grasping each other's jacket/shirt, the tangerine scene.. their eyes/gaze after the rain!! - Story and Direction: the portrayal of how Ho Tae is slowly discovering his feelings vs how the actions from that same discovery are creating turbulence within Dong Hee's well-guarded feelings.. and all of the details that give life to this!
The more time passes, the more I want to see how their story progresses after ULS. I hope we could get that just like we got this.. 'cause it doesn't look like I'm moving on from them anytime soon. 🥲
This was so soft, sweet, and beautiful.. it made me wanna cry even when good things were happening! Left me wanting more.. but so glad I got to see our Ho Tae and Dong Hee bbs again. I can only hope we get to see the continuation of their story after ULS but if not, I hope they are together and happy in their universe. ♥
Dang, that was good! Whatever relationship Lang JingHui and Ling Dong had, it was heartfelt and beautiful. I feel like this can even be made into a bl (maybe Taiwan can pick it up?). Overall a very good show and good characters. One of the better shows I've watched in recent memory.
Liked the show overall. Loved the director's, cinematographer's, and editor's work. Also, loved pretty much all the characters especially our cuties Ryu and Zen. Loved how most things werevery realistic and there weren't really cringy moments. The story started very strong.. just wished the ending episodes flowed the same way. A few things I wished they did better: - The romantic storyline should have been more detailed and deep like how other aspects of the show are. It feels like the show should have a few more episodes to explore that better. - I'm mad how Zen and Ryu never had that conversation about what happened to Ryu back then. It'd have helped Zen understand Ryu's situation in the past. - I'm so glad they showed us P'Q after all that happened. I just wish we could see more of how he was dealing with life after that. - They could've made Atom's character a little more understanding and maybe he didn't need that much screen time? They could've used that time to develop Ryu and Zen's romantic arc.
I think the original plan was start filming this after Krist was done filming his movie, which was completed some time ago. Hopefully, it starts soon. 🤞🤞
Now that the date for GMMTV part 2 announcement is out, I can't wait for KS to have a new series. I hope they get a good plot and a good director for their grand comeback. 🤗
