You have no bases on the accusations you are making, there aren't any real pictures of them together after Legend of Fei promotions or any connections between them with bone necklaces that are not even the same. Edison Chen likely don't have any current updates about him, so only old articles of him exists.
But when researching about Wang Yibo only current news are available. Trying to find news from years ago is difficult when most articles that appears are mostly current ones. I finally found two videos that proves ZLY's necklace is not related to WYB at all.
Random people try to bring back old news and trying to make it new when it is a thing of the past and have already debunked and forgotten. This video link @ 7:37 timestamp proves Yibo's necklace is not related to ZLY.
https://youtu.be/jU-EvhGIgCY?si=4fR-omJb3zyM-Uh2

This other video at timestamp 7:11
https://youtu.be/jEFsTEsAMSo?si=Wj83pj88PDA55Vf-
proves there is only one picture of ZLY wearing a similar necklace and it is even blurry. She wore it even before starring Legend of Fei drama, when she was starting in the Journey of Flower film, and that is what her necklace is based on and not Legend of Fei.

* Stop trying to maliciously attack Wang Yibo with negative false rumours that is barely even considered evidences as it is many years old and clearly had been debunked. Yibo's bone necklace is because fans nicknamed him and sometimes call him "puppy," which is not related to ZLY at all.

Sadly, the post of videos or articles about the debunked of the Zhao Yiling's bone necklace relating to Wang Yibo are hard to find now because it has already been 3 or more years already. And it is hard to sift through videos/posts from years ago and some only goes up to 2 years old. Only current articles/videos can found when searching through the web or YouTube.
The links of articles posted by someone above does not even have a pictures or an articles of the bone necklaces that is being discussed here, which is old news that has clearly been forgetten and ignored for years because it was proven to be alse rumours. Yibo already won many lawsuits against malicious fake rumours made about him through out the years, and those who created false rumours already apologize, paid fines, and had to deleted their fake manipulated articles/videos.
You are the one who brought up Zhao Liying and now you are accusing me of being ZLY 's slave?? I already said I don't live in China, so I don't know why you should say such accusations towards me? You sound really crazy using the word "Slave" towards someone you don't even know.
I also clearly said I am a Wang Yibo fan and have not said of anything on being a fan of ZLY. Yet you are attacking me for no reason? Why are you so desperate in believing articles that talks about about Celebrity gossip or rumours? I think you are in the wrong page since you talk so much about ZLY. You should go to ZLY page instead.
*This is Wang Yibo's page and not about another celebrity, so stop with your nonsense.

That false rumours about the Zhao Liying's necklace being similar to Wang Yibo has been proven false. What proof do you have that the necklaces were the same? Zhao Liying's was not even shown clearly in any of the pictures. It was already investigated and shown that her necklace was not the same as Wang Yibo's necklace. Yibo's necklace is a completely different brand. Copying a
similar style does not
prove there is any relation between them. The necklaces theory is old news and as I said has already been debunked and ignored.

Yibo wears
specific and unique brands, mostly street style, that none of the women ( he is rumoured/ fake CP with, including Zhao Liying ) don't even really wear. So, Yibo wearing rumoured CP outfits are false and none existent. Stop making up stuff that is not even true, most of the articles or videos are all false rumours.
* There is no videos/picturse of Zhao Liying and Wang Yibo together off screen, during and after the filming/promotion of Legend of Fei. The videos in the internet can be easily manipulated. It has been years since the Legend of Fei and even the paparazzi following Yibo has found nothing .
If you are talking about the rumours about Zhao Liying went to a concert with someone, it was not even Want Yibo, because it was proven that it was someone else. So, that rumours also been debunked. While at the time Yibo has been miles away in remote mountains of Mongolia.
So all the things you have commented about Wang Yibo is all false and have no bases of proof. The only thing you can say to me is if I was paid? paid with what? I don't even live in China and you don't even know me. That is a crazy thing to say to someone you don't even know.
I am a fan of Wang Yibo because he is multi talented, respectful, and very professional as most people he worked with has also said of him (professional athletes/coaches, directors, and cast members). Those who worked with Yibo know more about him personally than some random person on the internet creating and spreading

I think Wang Yibo said he does not want to do Romance drama. Most romance dramas are usually idol dramas and he does not like CP rumours that goes with romance dramas. Yibo had denied all the CP rumours with womenhe including with FL co-star in Legend of Fei. Most women Yibo worked with including Zhao Lying admitted that he barely speaks/conversates with any them.
* Most of the articles/rumours about Wang Yibo's personal life are all fake and had been debunked already. The truth about his personal life will only come from Wang Yibo himself and not any other sources online that can easily be fabricated.

Wang Yibo does not go into too much detail about personal life in interviews, it is mostly private. He would rather talk about the things he likes, which are work related (singing and acting) or his hobbies like dancing, motor racing, car racing, skate boarding, and his latest one is mountain climbing.
Yibo does not really care too much about popularity and his fans are not as active compared to fans of other celebrities. His fans support him mostly when it is important, like big events like film and concerts. His fans stay low key just like he does.

Wang Yibo just focuses enjoying the simplicity of life, working, getting rest in between, and exploring new hobbies that he likes. Wang Yibo prefers to work on movies or dramas that are more plot/story driven or
documentary/show that can be
inspiring to him. I rather want Wang Yibo to be happy and choose to work on film/dramas that is meaningful or something that interests him and not choose romance dramas just because fans want it. All the dramas/film/show Yibo has worked on, have been different genres, which resonates to how he likes to explore different things, and showcases his versality in acting, singing, and
dancing.

Not only wronged, they robbed Wang Yibo's spotlight too. Did injustice to Wei Ruolai character. And whoever is…
I am not favoring Wang Yang over Wang Yibo at all. Wang Yang is one of Wang Yibo's colleagues, even we dislike him, we still need to be respectful because I am sure Wang Yibo will not want his fans to be disrespectful to his colleagues. We are not kids, who would act rashly and aggressively when we find that someone is being unfair/have attacked us. As adults there are more rational and legal ways to deal with unfairness/battles that come our way. And sometimes it is best to just walk away, when it is not even worth it.

Wang Yang 's acting as well as the rest of the cast of War of Faith, especially Wang Yibo's acting was well done, each character in the drama, as I said were perfect for their role. I am just suggesting that Wang Yibo's fans should not get too involved in unnecessary things that could hurt Wang Yibo and his career as an actor by pushing things out of line. If Wang Yang, the producers, The Magnolia Awards committee are acting unfairly, let Wang Yibo himself sort those things out. The fans should not force things, acting like justice warriors by suggesting Wang Yang or Magnolia Awards Committee to change what has already been decided. It best not to get involved in negative behaviors/thinking because it will just make Wang Yibo look bad.

It is already a given that many unscrupulous people will use others'popularity, talent, and hardwork for their own gain. It is best not to be in the same level as them by behaving badly as they do. There are better ways to do deal with things more subtly, humbly, and astutely. Experiences like this will give Wang Yibo better understanding and prepare him on how to deal with certain situations similar to this in the future.

Wang Yibo has a great response, it was very respectful, and in turn have allowed others to respect him even more. As Wang Yibo said, let it go and move on, as he will continue to focus on more important things such as on improving oneself, including
his acting skills and finding more better/
challenging roles to play. The thing is, when it comes to battles, not only one has to learn how to battle intelligently, but one must choose wisely of when and what battles are worth the fight. It best not to fight restlessly on unnecessary battles. There are many other awards out there and fighting for Yibo to be nominated and receive one award is definitely not worth it. There are many actors who have done a great job but did not get awards. It best to move on to better things, since Wang Yibo is well recognized for many more other accomplishments/skills that we fans greatly admire him for.

*Thanks for all the information about why some fans are upset. But the choices Wang Yang, producers, or some Magnolia Awards Committee are behaviors and choices they have made. We cannot change their behaviors or decisions but we can only act on/change how we as fans, as well as Wang Yibo will respond to these kind of behaviors/choices. Wang Yibo was definitely gracious in his response to the situation and we love him for such wise decision and words.

Both Wang Yibo and Wang Yang's names were submitted to the Magnolia awards committee. Of course the committee in the end will only choose one actor for each drama nominations.

Even in the US for Oscars or Golden Globes awards, sometimes there are some really good actors in a film or drama that does not get nominated or wins. It is voted by a professional committee not based on popular vote by
the audience.

Wang Yibo works hard in everything he does and even the directors and his colleagues have mentioned how talented and hard working he is. But he can't always be nominated or win every award. He still has room for improvement and can play more challenging roles.

According my drama list, War of Faith drama has three main actors (Wang Yibo, Li Qin, and Wang Yang). It should not matter who is listed first, both Wang Yibo and Wang Yang are main leads in the drama. Wang Yang is not supporting actor in the drama.

All the cast in War of Faith drama did an amazing job in their roles. Wang Yibo's role a Wei Roulai is more predictable as a heroic character than Wang Yang 's Shen Tunan character who has more grey/darker and layered/unpredictable character. I
think that is why the Magnolia Committee probably in the end chose Wang Yang in Best Actor category.

Both Wang Yibo and Wang Yang were perfect for the roles they played, but the Wang Yang's Shen Tunan character is what appealed to them more.

I think some Wang Yibo's fans can be too aggressive sometimes and complain so much about every little things that they think is unfair and in that ends up hurting Wang Yibo as an actor instead. Sometimes we fans need to be mindful of our words when speak and as well as how we behave. Because how we act will reflect back on the people we care about.
I think we should celebrate Wang Yibo's accomplishments on the projects he work on and the awards he wins. But if he does not get a nominations or wins an award we need to let it go and move on. We as fans should really not be so focused on how many awards he wins. It does hurt to lose and not win on something one works hard for and not getting the results one wants, it is okay to cry about it. But it is best to move on, refocus on what is more important, learn from one's mistakes so one can improve, and it is best to not blame anything on anyone. Keep moving forward to be a better version of one's self is a better goal.
One thing inspiring about Wang Yibo is that he has a fighting spirit, someone who never gives up,and always gets back up until he gets better results.
As fans let us not focus too much on awards and unnecessary fights. Instead let's focus on the successful things Wang Yibo has accomplished, being able to do what he loves, like singing and dancing (Olympic Qualifying Games). Getting his Car Racing License, and working on Discovery Channel Documentary. Soon he will be going to Paris and holding a torch for China in Paris Olympic games. Besides acting, Wang Yibo has many more other talents that we can celebrate. Let's focus on the positives and not on the negative things.

Il timed for whom? Wang Yibo or his audiences? He’s an idol who benefits from black culture from the west, someone…
What can I say? I have a lot of things to say and have lots of examples to back up what I want to say, when giving an answer.
As I said already, nothing is new, so I am not overall surprised. You can complain about China's Saviours Complex all you want. But explain how are you going to do something about it?I am not saying it is right, but many are aware of it already. Complaining about on the internet/social media would not do much anyway. You want to change something or fight against something, go talk/complain to your country's representative/government officials about it if possible. I mean you are talking about politics here, so go talk to politicians about your complaints about China then.
A celebrities/actors are working people and have to follow directions from directors, producers, and script writers. It is not like blackface was any of the actors choice when they all had to the same thing in this film. The four pictures of each actors shown with blackface, none of them were even smiling. But as professional actors, they have to do their job, act the scene the film requires. If actors start complain and refuse to their job, they will be seen as arrogant and uncooperative. The actors already signed the contract to be in the film, it is not something they can easily back out from, since lots of investment/money was likely already spent to create the film. Otherwise there would be a lawsuit for breaking the contract. They follow the direction according to the scriptwriters, directors, or producers. For celebrities/actors, acting is their main job, they are not politicians/justice warriors.

It is cyberbullying when you are attacking a one specific person over and over. I am not acting as judge when I am say "unfair," but you are the one being judgemental, judging one person out of the many actors involved in the film, and a person that you don't even even know personally, while
taking things out of context. Did you even watch the film, since it is not available internationally yet? If not, how can you even judge a film you did not even see? So, the word unfair is rightly used.

Oh, the link you provided about Chinese interest in Africa through peacekeeping work, I am already aware of and so many others I am quite sure. China has the Silk Red Belt road initiative. They are doing business deals in other countries for their own interests.

My professor once said that Powerful countries like the US will help other poverty stricken and war torn countries, but they don't do it just for humanitarian purposes, they are interests and deals involved that they gain from providing help. Because nothing is free in this world afterall. To get something, you have to pay something else for it.
The West have military bases and business deals around the world including selling weapons and artilleries. So, what China is doing is actually nothing new, they are doing what the West have been doing already for many years. The difference though is, that many countries have borrowed money from China to developed their country. The West helped 3rd world countries, but kept most of those countries in poverty for years. Those who chose to move
manufacturing in other countries gave jobs to those poor cointries, but the labor is cheaper so the more powerful country businesses gains wealth from it. Then that country, depending on their government can be developed better if there is no corruption. As the West brought manufacturing to China, now China is doing the same thing, moving their manufacturing in Africa. They have brought developed to Africa though their humanitarian aid and businesses.
China wanting to be a superpower is not something people are blind to. There are countries who disapproves what China is doing, but at the end of the day, ordinary people are just trying to live their
lives. What the government of each country decides about China, will depend on who people vote for or have representatives for in their government.

Even though Wang Yibo lived in South Korea when he was a teen compared to the other cast members in this movie who also did blackface, it is still unfair to single out one person when the other 3 main cast did not get much hate or are barely even mentioned. If you are angry that Wang Yibo chose his home country over his international
fans, you have the right to be angry, but it not right to continually take you anger unto
others.

When Wang Yibo chose to do take the role
of Lan Zhan for the drama The Untamed. A lot of his fans were also angry and they cyberbulled him with lots of hate during the live streaming for his birthday, which was celebrated on the set of The Untamed, just because he chose to star on drama based on a BL novel. As a fan please respect his choice and if you are unhappy with it, as Wang Yibo said, " Why bother wasting your time with something you don't like, when you can focus on something you actually like instead.

It is easy for others to judge and hate when one only sees one point of view, but this world is big and with many different points of views. We can easily criticize someone or something but in reality we don't even really know their side of the story.

If you are angry and unhappy with the celebrity that you follow, there is no use to cyberbully when you can just follow someone else. You have the right to make your own choice, let other people make their own choices as well. We cannot dictate/force our beliefs or emotions to other people.

The West have different beliefs and culture. East Asia, including China has different beliefs and culture. You can freely express you displeasure on how film/drama is done, then after just leave it there and be. You can either avoid it or watch it, depends on you.

A lot of international fans have expressed how they dislike that FL in Cdramas acting too childish and not mature enough. In Chinese culture and many Asian cultures this thing called"Sajiao" ( I am not sure if I spelled it right), in which there are men who actually like girls that who act cute with high pitch voice. But since many international fans have voiced their opinions, there are films/dramas that recently have more mature FL and hopefully more Cdramas that uses actors real voices and are less dubbed. It is up to directors, script writers, and producers to create better films/dramas/stories in the future .

Most cases the Cdramas are dubbed because of some accents are hard to understand. I did not realize until a friend mentioned that most of the films/dramas in the US, the accent we hear from the actors are actually Californian accent and dialect that is used, because most are filmed in Hollywood.
The US also has many dialects and accents, like those in New York and East Coast will have different ones from those in the Southern states, Mid states, and North West. In some places "Potato Fries," are called "Mojos," while "soda" are called "pops" in other places.
Anyways targeting and cyberbullying one specific person when many others are also involved in doing the same thing in the film is very bias and unfair.

Yeah, I have seen those movies you mentioned!

The modern version of Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo Di Caprio and Clare Danes had some really great acting, with both comedy and tragedy scenes.

The Much Ado About Nothing with Kenneth Brannagh and Emma Thompson (Both were in Harry Potter too) had a wonderful cast and was very entertaining to watch. Denzel Washington is definitely a versatile actor and one that is well remembered, he has given some powerful performances, is great in action scenes, and has wonderful
comedy timing.
I remembered him most in the films Glory (US Civil War soldier), Remember the Titans (Football Coach), and the Great Debaters (Professor of the Debate Team).

Exactly! I learned long ago to watched a movie/drama as entertainment only and I never watch to follow what I see on screen. Because even car chases and action films are exaggerated for
entertainment. In reality what happens in the movie/drama cannot be done in reality because it would be dangerous. I learn to understand and can differentiate what is real and not real while watching something for entertainment. Also the US, lots of people want to cancel the movie "Gone With The Wind" because it depicts slaves incorrectly (they looked too happy as servants) and the movie it is still popular for many years. But the movie was made for the audience in 1939 during the time where there was segregation. Hattie McDowell, a black actress who played "Mamie" had won best supporting actress for that movie even during times of segregation. The civil war was only a backdrop , the main story was really about Scarlett saving Tara her home, because her dad told her, it was the only thing that lasts in life. That movie had great acting, cinematography, and music and won those awards. Some want to cancel it because they don't want others to copy or believe that it was like that in the past during the civil war. But Gone With the Wind was based on fictional book not on actual history. So, of course a lot of things may seem unrealistic, especially it was on the POV of Scarlett who started as a 15 or 16 year spoiled girl.

Also the Bible, which contains 66 different books and had many various authors who were inspired by the word of God, depicts lots of things that may not be acceptable in our current times. I realize and understand what the authors were trying to say and most cases were writing what happened during that time period. It was a different time period and different culture, so we don't follow all the rules they had back in the past. We read to understand and differentiate what is relatable to our current time and what it is not because it would be inappropriate.

Also I am currently watching Bridgeton series on Netflix which is based on a fictional book. There are some who likes it for the story and romance. But some are mad because the story takes place in England during 1800's and should have mostly a white cast. The Bridgeton series has diverse cast portrayed by different ethnicities. That does not bother me as long as the main characters personality and story is portrayed well and close enough to what is in the book. And the fact it is fiction and not based on historical person or event, I don't mind the diverse casting.

Actually, the same thing happened when Harry Potter Books came out. I am Christian, so a lot of the Christian community and the news in around year 2000 made a big deal about it should not be read because it will cause children to turn to witchcraft. I wonder what was the big deal about it, and so I read Harry Potter to see what so bad about it before making my decision. I end up loving the Harry Potter series,of course know it is all fictional, and I did not turn to witchcraft, since I am still Christian and love God still. What I learned from Harry Potter is actually True Love, the sacrifice Harry's mom made to save his life protected him. Ron's family even though they are poor, they have great love for each other including Harry. At the end, Harry had to make a great sacrifice to save others. He did have a resurrection stone, but since he was also the last horucrux, he had to sacrifice himself and confront his fears in order to destroy Voldermort.
* While some sees and copies what they are entertained by in a superficial level, others actually understands a much deeper meaning to the story. But of course there are trigger warnings in movies/dramas, so that others who are likely to be traumatized can avoid watching it. Especially some shows that are not meant for children to watch. Adults can decide for themselves what to watch and what not watch if they are not comfortable with somethings because not every person has the same taste when it comes movies or dramas. Because others like to watch something they disapprove does not mean we should stop others from watching we don't like.

Of course racism is never okay, and you can say that proudly and easily. But you need to think about which country…
Of course I am stating the obvious because it needs to be said. It is clear China is a Communist country and there are rules that are very different from the west, even it was foreigners who breaks the rules, like in any other country they will be punished according the rules of that country, no matter how light the crime is. Most American Citizens have the privlage to call their embassy and home country for help if they get into trouble in another country. But some countries don't have that luxury that many American Citizens have or those from Democratic countries.

Are you willing to go out there and fight for human rights even when it means leaving your country, family, and everything you know behind? Do you want to go against your government that will cause you to violate the laws of the land, knowing you might end up in jail. If you want to do that, go right ahead. Most people who are able to risk it all, have certain privlages or does not have much too lose to take risks, but not all people have that choice to protest, because they have other life responsibilities, this is true when it comes to protesting in the US as well. You can't just say to someone to go protest, when you don't know what their life is like. If they want to protest/boycott something and are willing to that, that is your own right/choice. No one should be making/forcing you to make that choice. So, you have to see big picture and different points of view to every situation. Not everything is an easy solution, especially anything that involves the government and laws can be complicated thing.

As I said, it is easy for others to speak up and accuse someone online or social media, hiding behind their computer when they know there will be no consequences. In the western countries they have such privilege, but in China one wrong word or message in social media against the their government means a lifetime ban for online and any social media sites. For a person to not be able to voice out their side of the story because of the immediate ban from their own country can cause great trauma. If someone offends the government in China, it means that person won't even find job in their own country but have to leave it all behind and go elsewhere in another country and start from scratch. Wang Yibo is popular, his country's government knows that, and if the government ask him to do projects that is related to their propaganda, declining them would be too risky. All Yibo can do is focus on his career in C-entertainment and not to get too involve in political stuff that would get him into trouble. Yibo has lots of fans that want to see him in movies and dramas. He is doing his best at his job for his fans in the meantime. I am sure, eventually he can retire from C-entertainment and have a different career, but that transition will take time and he has to find a career that is less involved with the government, which means having a complete private life, away from social media. Although, no matter what your career is, if you have talent and influence, the government/rich/powerful will likely recruit you.

I had seen this documentary once in which a foreign exchange student from the US who lived in Shanghai for a fews years, liked it there and enjoy his living his life there that he might want to permanently stay there. I forgot what he majored in, but he definitely has some talent, maybe it was in technology or business, I am not sure. Someone from the government tried to recruit him, but he denied many times. He somehow got into trouble when he decided to go back home, as he returned the US government even questioned him and thought he was kind of spy , even though he declined the recruitment from China's government. It is really difficult if a person becomes an enemy of the state or country. You have no choice but to run elsewhere or you will end up in jail. You will have to find a lawyer willing to represent you to prove your innocence but that would take years.

We are talking about China, the country that Yibo lives in and of course he will be patriotic to them, as many others will be towards their own country. You are simplifying things and making it seem easy to change a career he worked hard for all these years. Even if he is not a celebrity, citizens or non citizens in China, it would be hard to against the goverment/powerful people without consequences.

Of course it is like the Imperial Days, China is Communist country that voted in a President for life. What do you expect. That is what an authoritarian country is like, just like the Emperors of the past, they can dictate laws that favors them. It is up to the people of that country what kind of government they want. That is what most of the people of that country chose.

I watched the CDrama Blossoms in Adversity which is great drama actually, the Emperor is the ML uncle and he is terribly loyal to him and does what he says. Anyone who questions the Emperor or speak their minds will immediately be punished. The FL had to deal so much injustices and had to fight through to survive. Every time she utters something the Emperor dislikes she and her family gets punished.

What are you talking about Hollywood using eyelid tapes to make actors look Asian? That is actually not something I have seen a lot of these many years. The eyelid tapes I am more familiar of is the one that is common in Asia. They have used eyelid tapes, that will give them the double eyelid look that is more common in the West. Usually what I see more of is, Hollywood casting/replacing Asian roles with a white person. They don't even have to look Asian. The character in the movie would just gets white washed, even though the story about Asian culture or takes place in an Asian country.

How can they camouflage at night? The police officers undercover operation requires them to talk to people during the daytime because they were looking for someone. The movie is about a real event 20 years ago during the civil war in Sierra Leone. The police officers would be easy targets for the rebels if they don't blend in. What do you suggest they should do, so they won't be easily targeted by the rebels? If they don't blend in they will be easy to spot and get killed during the mission because they clearly look like foreigners with light skin.
