Maybe I'm weird. I like long dramas. I run out of stuff to watch. I've rewatched Tribes and Empires 2 times already lol.

Still hooked on this drama while waiting on last 2eps. The writing for the FL is it's greatest weakness. The writer seems to think that being impulsive and threatening = strong.

Uh oh. Per DramaPanda this is a tv drama that started filming in 2018. Still not airing? Might be like The Wolf. We waited 3 years for that one and when it finally aired, to me it was a big disappointment (although I'm a fan of the main actors).

How can you know till you try it? At first I had doubts thinking the male lead was not traditionally handsome. But wow, he has charisma and he is an amazing actor.
Try it and if you don't like it - well then you know.

Zhang Zi Yi has never been in any tv dramas before. She's always been on the big screen with international hits.

I don't think it will ever get fully subbed. I've waited over a year and it still is only partially subbed.

Should people skip the first 4eps? Does it get better?

thank you! and no spoilers! I'm stopping for now at Ep 40 till all eps are subbed so that I can marathon the rest. Ep 11 is my favorite episode and I've rewatched a bunch of times.

someone needs to do an episode chart - I swear I think she gets clonked on the head more than once in some eps.

The first 15 min are essential in drawing the viewer in.
If the beginning in boring but I want to give it a try I'll fast forward a bit. If it's still boring or nothing new then it's goodbye. No matter how much I like the actors.

The fl lead parts were overplayed as the cliche obvious tough female lead who has to obviously overplay being bad-as$. I can not relate to her antagonistic attitude towards ml. If she is truly discerning as a good detective would be, she'd have been a quicker & better judge of character.
