Oh my Lord. How many eps a day post to DC?

I am watching on YouTube. Without paid subscription you get 1 ep a day released, and subbed. It drops at 5 am my time so suddenly I am getting up early these days. I have a paid Viki subscription but their subbed eps are sometime 24hrs after YouTube's

the voices are so generic. The female lead's voice actor does too many characters in other dramas and it takes me out of the drama.

What disturbs me is that someone got paid to make them like that. Hideous!

Question? Did they shave off all of the female characters' eyebrows??

He's very intense. He was amazing in Tribes and Empires, also in Longest Day in Chang An.

He made me cry my guts out in "Time".

it was so boring I skipped the bulk of ep 37 and 38. The drama actually gets worse and more boring. Zanilla never smiles or barely forces a smile at times. Is she depressed?

Accurate assessment. I thought Zanilla came across as very depressed. If she had been her usual self then the age difference would not be so apparent.

Watching him now in The Rebel Princess and also New Face (on youtube).
Loved him in Tribes and Empires.

but she's the one who wants to abandon the children.
Not him. And there's no money in it for him exposing her as now she has no career. Her actions are considered abhorrent in China.

Her actions are despicable. Not befitting of any human, male or female. To her these babies were just dirty tissue on the bottom of her shoes.

it is a straw man argument to throw "gender bias" into this.
Here we have a rich rich woman who spent $200K or more making these children only to discard them as if they were tissue paper.

to abandon a child means putting them at risk. She just doesn't want them? Then she should provide for them, she surely has the means, she even spent at least $200 K getting them made.

This woman paid probably $100,000 per baby to the surrogates, had her own fertilized eggs implanted in two different women.
She didn't have an accidental pregnancy. She even went to the US to do this to evade China's law against surrogacy.
To her, these babies were just things to be abandoned when she caused them to be brought into this world. Not by accident, but by calculation.
