Se Yeon's acting is not as bad as usual. The drama is disappointing though. Watchable but no big thrill, kind of have to stop and then make myself go back again. It feels very two dimensional.

maybe they should have the men dubbed by kindergarten boys and see the outrage lol. Oh and act like small children pouting etc.

you should see him in Tribes and Empires. His acting is so intense. He can do that thing where you see a crazed look in his eyes, so believable. And he's often the baddie or a mix of both.

I've watched those dramas and none had a female actor dubbed with a 6 year old child's voice.
There's something creepy about trying to make a grown woman act and sound like an elementary school child.
Thankfully there are dramas where this isn't the case. This could be a really good drama if not for the way the female character is written. So childish.

I'm at ep 10 and fast forwarding her scenes. Muting her wasn't enough

Ugh. The Hua Rong character has the voice of a 6 year old girl and the mannerisms of an 8 year old. And the pout face with lower lip sticking way out reminds me of a 4 year old.

Joy of Life is so good in every way. And different. I feel like I'm watching the main character's dream instead of a drama.

I'm fans of both Li Xian and Li Yi Tong. The action scenes are good but the interaction of these two actors is very disappointing. Maybe scenes that give meaning were cut? And the stylist?
It is not easy to make these two actors look unattractive but they succeeded. Ugly clothing too. The dubbing is awful. I've heard his voice before and this doesn't match it or him.
What a let down.

No. While this has some light hearted moments it is not a rom com like The Perfect Couple.

The first 10 eps were a bit slow. I stopped and started a lot. Finally I decided to skip parts with the schemers and it started to pick up then I was marathoning it. Glad I didn't give up. Almost did.

I'm on ep 60 lol. Peter Hu was really good in this. He was the lead for many episodes. In fact his work in this is one of his better. There were many good actors in this drama and the plot was rich and full.

I've resorted to re-watching some good dramas since I find many of the new or current ones to be poorly written, boring or dumb.

It looks like someone subbed 3 eps but no assurance they'll sub it all.
And kinda looks like machine translation.
