Lavender Blue

Episode 7 today showcases Chen Zheyuan's excellent acting skills, especially in the scene where Chen Shan met his sister near the end of the episode, he portrayed complex and conflicting emotions so well. I still can't hold my tears thinking about Chen Shan 💔😭

True, this is a masterpiece in terms of Chen Zheyuan's acting skills. I cried a lot for Chen Shan and at the same time enjoyed the delicacy and depth in Yuan's acting.

That's from some antifans (or more accurately someone else's fandom), they haven't even watched the drama. The antifan culture spread out from domestic fans to international fans.

Episode 6 is so emotional. I cried my heart out from the begining to the end. Light The Dark is an excellent drama and our Chen Zheyuan is amazing ❤️

Episode 6 is so emotional and well developed. Chen Zheyuan's acting skills are superb, I couldn't hold my tears.

I have a Chinese version of iQiyi app and see the heat index there. I think you can use this link https://www.iqiyi.com/v_1ztrw7uti1g.html

4677 and still climbing. The drama started late in the evening so can't compare to other dramas that start since mid day.

Just watched the first two episodes. The plot and pace of the drama are great. Chen Zheyuan's acting skills are excellent, so is Jiang Xin. Just 2 eps but I've already cried a lot during the emotional scenes.

Yep, the filming wrapped up in late August.

Starting from his variety shows, Hello Saturday then The Great Detective in mid March, CZY received a lot of compliments for his super smartness and fun. Many fans from variety shows started to explore CZY's old dramas and praised his performance on weibo and other platforms. Then came the mess with the Chasing Jade drama, its actor got criticised for heavy makeup and weak acting skills, they pulled CZY in the mess saying why not also criticising CZY for wearing heavy makeup in drama as well with a hope to use CZY as a scapegoat. However, to their dismay, the wide audience impressed with CZY's acting skills in Fated Heart and showed strong supports to him widely. Fated Heart and many video clips showing CZY's excellent acting skills became viral. Fated Heart made a strong comeback and topped the soaring charts on iQiyi and Weibo hot search. It was great to see our Zheyuan's efforts and acting skills are widely recognised 🥰

It's a mix because their love took place during the wartime, they met then lost each other then met again, fell apart then renunited. There's a lot of sweet romance until the near final episodes.

Same here, watching CZY's dramas is enough for me ❤️ Occasionally I watch others' dramas but find them all bland.

I remember the melon about Light Up the Dark last year only surfaced around 2 weeks before him joining the crew in April. So if it is an iQiyi self-made project it can be that short notice.

YZ is the boss of the actress in that JSWP drama, not in CZY's team. He is an evil.

The drama is quite popular among those dramas shown during this autumn season. It started low due to little marketing but then became popular due to the audience word of mouth.

Yay, to me this is the best ancient costume romance of the year 🎉🎉🎉

Isn't Sword and Fairy 4 Xianxia?

Very well said! I'm impressed with every character's stories and especially obsessed with the prince Feng Sui Ge.

It's actually too good. I watched 20 episodes and kept rewatching while waiting for new episodes each days. Good plot, fast pace, beautiful shooting and excellent acting.

Whoa he is so hot. Love his look today 😍😍😍
