I completely agree with what you said. I'm currently working on my review and plan to post it tomorrow. I really loved Jiaxu’s character just as much as Sang Zhi they complement each other so well.

I really enjoyed all the scenes you mentioned. I think part of the reason is that TFF used the actual age gap between the characters, so Sang Zhi didn’t appear in as many scenes. The director chose to focus more on the leads which makes sense though I get why you’d feel that way.

Honestly, this could’ve been avoided. Other users have started pointing it out too. It just seems like both of you were trying to make a point but ended up misunderstanding each other, which led to things escalating.

The whole thing blew up because they misunderstood each other one jumped to blaming and accusing, and the other kept on arguing with them, then both of them started insulting each other. When one of them tried to argue with me, I blocked them right away. I had no interest in getting dragged into their fight. I wanted to engage with one user, because the user got dragged into their mess so i was curious about what happened. Honestly if someone blocks you, why keep replying or talking about their comment? Why continue the argument in a roundabout way? I couldn’t help but laugh 😂😂

It’s honestly surprising how much attention is being given to which drama influenced the other. From what I’ve seen, the success comes down to strong performances and solid writing. The scriptwriter has a great track record her other books are well-known, and I’ve even seen people mention another upcoming adaptation. When a production nails the casting to match the story, the appeal naturally follows that’s been the case for most of the writer’s successful dramas. Personally, I really enjoyed Lusi’s performance in this one, the chemistry between the leads works well and the chaotic sibling dynamic added a lot to the charm of this drama.

I’m thinking about writing a review for this drama as well no idea if anyone would actually be interested in reading it, but I might do it anyway. As for the users arguing back and forth here over nothing meaningful, maybe take a moment to review the new MDL policy. This whole situation could’ve been avoided if you had just ignored each other It’s one of the things that really puts me off about this site sometimes.

I agree with you it’s really not worth it. What’s honestly ironic is that the user blocked Precious, yet continues to bring her up. If they don’t want to engage, then why keep referencing her at all? I only replied to her because it felt like the most reasonable thing to do. People are clearly active here, and the user themselves has a high number of likes too, so I don’t get why they’re so pressed about it. I just hope they don’t start coming after me now too I’m literally just having a conversation with you here.

Precious, you could have ignored them honestly. The user started calling Twinty names over this whole issue, which is so unfair to her she never meant anything bad, and the user keeps going off. Since they blocked you and you can still see their comments when logged out read it and scroll past. It’s not worth it.

Still going through the comments, but it’s hard to understand why Precious didn’t just ignore the users. It’s clear they didn’t get her point, and then the other user suddenly brought up likes which they also have, just like her. This drama was beautifully made. The chemistry, acting, and storyline were all so well done, and nothing about it felt pedophilic at all it was handled with care and respect. Honestly, a lot of the hate I saw online felt like it came from people who didn’t actually watch it properly and just wanted to twist it into something it wasn’t. The relationship made sense within the story and was portrayed in a genuine, thoughtful way. I absolutely loved Lusi in this drama her voice was so cute, it felt like a melody in my ears. I can’t get over the drunk scene; it was just too charming! The OST was beautiful too i need more Drama Recs if there is any drama similar 🥰

That’s fair if you feel that way, but I don’t agree. Sang Yan never meant anything bad, and he definitely wasn’t trying to take advantage of her he teased her because he genuinely didn’t know, like I said. Wei Yifan clearly acts differently whenever she’s around, which shows how real his feelings are. There are other dramas that might suit you better.
