I would like to add that, in my opinion, this drama was far from bland. It was such a breath of fresh air, hitting all the emotions perfectly, and I never got bored. I’ve added it to my top 10 for this year loved it 💗
This drama had such a heartwarming and touching journey from the start, with episodes 1-4 bringing that classic romcom nostalgia. What stood out the most were the dialogues so much depth and realism, with quotes that really hit home emotionally. As the story progressed, it highlighted Seokryu's career and the different relationships, especially showing why it's called Love Next Door , with love blooming around everyone. The last two episodes wrapped things up beautifully with the Lavender Ladies’ friendship being a key focus, Seokryu and Seunghyo’s relationship developing, and Moeum’s big decision about her boyfriend and little Yeondu.
I recently finished Welcome to Samdalri and felt the same connection to it. My Liberation Notesalso hit me hard, but in different ways. All three dramas really know how to leave a lasting emotional impact.
I agree. The show is very shallow. Too much time on dialogue—filler dialogues. I started getting bored at episode…
The drama is a slow-paced, action-packed investigation story where heavy dialogue is expected. Every conversation matters, and each character plays a crucial role in advancing the plot there's no filler here. However, it's not a show for everyone, as some may find it requires more patience than they're willing to give.
The comedy is being used to lighten the drama and reduce the intensity for now, so when the more serious moments…
I completely agree with you the storyline is pretty intense, and I’m glad they added some humor it definitely makes the drama more entertaining and enjoyable to watch.
Too much forced comedy, hopefully it’s gets better. On episode 7
The comedy is being used to lighten the drama and reduce the intensity for now, so when the more serious moments come, they ease the tension with humor. Hopefully, it gets better for you.
Can the director ever be original? The visual designs and even some dialogues are copied from a chinese animation…
The director has his own style, though he might draw inspiration from works like Legend of Exorcism .Recognizing these influences helps connect with the audience, but it’s time to start giving credit to any inspired parts.
Ugh. I just finished ep 5 and there are so many memories and flashbacks. Flashbacks after flashbacks. A bunch…
I believe since they are hunting demons, flashbacks are necessary to explain each character's story and how the villain is using them, like Miss Qi and Ran Qi's story. The editing might come off weird here and there, but the story itself is still good.
