yeah the friend doesn't help her at all, the reason I like them is because I can see them as an actual uni student. Despite how older people gave them advises, there is always that friend who did this. I also like that there are other friend who also questioned the advise so it's not like 1 advise only.

I know her and I remember having trouble understanding her problem with one of the drama I watch. I don't think her recommendation works for me so I stopped watching her.

I get that this drama does have a weak point but also it hasn't finished. O ne things I have problem from her previous video is that she posted a review but not posting like episode that she reviewed so I end up watching review for unfinished drama unknowingly. Other reviewer, like western tv show, they put episode into the title so you can avoid spoiler and such.

I want to watch it just to comment back cause I don't see that much of a problem for A Date From The Future beside the male lead's that akin to a superman at times, which is not that big of a deal.

Idk, I feel like all Kdrama has happy ending (except like some historical drama). Touch Your Heart is pretty light and happy,
but I think A Date with The Future is a good way to passed time while waiting for Hidden Love

Chen Zhe Yuan got the romance god's blessing. His eyes is captivating and I can feel his feeling.
This drama is bad for my health. Maybe I should exercise when it's not on air. To clear my mind.

I like that the viewer can see that SZ is not interested and her friend are forcing her to flow along. The drama itself shows their character rather than saying that she is good friend to SZ

I think they luck out a lot with the actor, he sells those dreamy eyes, I can see that he cares for her, the difference when he just care, he likes her, he being flirty and those small giggle. This guy is made for romance drama.

I love it too, I like how they bicker and also still try to care for each other. It's like they know they love each other but also can't help to tease each other.

Isn't the point of this drama is that HE doesn't realized how long she start liking him and continue to love him? So there was no reason to suspect that he is being inappropriate
I think the actress they use for young SZ is too young looking but the drama itself also address it in their first episode with her complaining that she is short and young looking.

My problem with age gap is if the drama never talk about it like it was nothing or it just plainly bad executed (like some kdrama out there), why act like 14 years old and 16 years old are blind to opposite sex?

Wait, what happened with A Date from the Future and with this drama?
I thought that one is pretty straightforward. What was the problem? if you don't mind to explain

You know, maybe it's not always the viewer fault? Maybe it just badly written drama?
All I am saying is that the fact that this concurrent discussion happen all the time point out that the drama itself is suck at telling their own story.
It's funny that if anything is questionable by the viewer the finger is always on "you just watch it wrongly" argument,
As I see it, the is one of the most lackluster overhyped drama this season.

you know, the fact that people don't actually know her age or even agree on this just shows that the drama is not written properly. 4 episode out of 12 and people are arguing about backstory means that the set up is badly portrayed.
This confusion is one of the many ways to know if the drama is good or bad.

I just started this and I have no idea how I even arrive in the latest episode this fast, this drama pacing is immaculate

This isn't grooming, we watch how he isn't interested on her when they were younger and the drama had adressed this, they don't even grow up together. It's different when the drama turn a blind eye into the age gap (I see you Kdrama).
Also she has forgotten her feeling and then start again.
Her feeling is explore thoroughly that you know why they even like each other. He is nice to her, he also never sugarcoat stuff to her, it's so different with her own brother and she had admired his ethic since she is young.
He on the other hand, started noticing her when she is older and realize that she cares so much about him, she can take care about him, she protected him and trusted him.

I think the drama did well with his feeling/approach. When they interacted in their younger years, I know he doesn't mean anything romantic, it's pretty obvious. He only meant it romantically when they were reunited again after the hospital scene and she is 19. Also the drama address it with their dorm friend discussion.
With Zhi feeling, it doesn't need to be explained much, young girl do have crush on older people all the time and she hides it perfectly well until she becomes older. Her journey to not realizing her feeling, to forget her feeling and to know that it doesn't changes after years is a good representation with her character. I believe they will explore more about their ups and down.
I remember in go go squid, they have like 10 years age and the couple address, people around them also address it like the parents are questioned them if it's real or not. This drama don't shy with the topic and handle it with care. I think this drama tackle their own story very well,

I say that it mid because the dialogue is bad and if you want to understand the story, you need to extrapolate your own theory which just shows that this is badly written.
It lack foundation and the actor doesn't sound like filming in the same drama

Yes, this is badly written backstory and we in ep 4/12 ? Not a good pacing

I am not talking about user preference, drama has their own genre.
The problem for me personally is that This Drama has technical problem, bad audio, bad transition and looks cheap to even get 8.8 with mid story.
All the drama you mentioned above is a good drama technically, it looks good on screen while drama looks mediocre on screen, the visual aspect is not good enough for the rating.
