Title Love Alarm Spoiler
im confused, so who's the male lead
The male lead changes actually. In first season it's Sun Oh. In second season it's Hye Yeong. So ultimately it's Hye Yeong.

I will get bit technical here. I have actually worked for govt. organisations in ASEAN, Au and NZ. The thing is…
I understand but if that's the case why does the guy who hold a higher position constantly ask for her immediate opinion every time they are holding a meeting when they need to wait for data first? If they need to rely on the data that much then what's the point of her existence? They always wait for her opinion while she just sit there looking around as if she's lost. Don't forget that by her wanting to rely on data during the first two episode she made a mistake with the hail thing and it lead to issues cause she couldn't make a quick decision and even went as far as ignoring the previous director. Their work clearly needs them to be as quick as possible since the weather isn't gonna wait for them long enough. Any minute they waste could lead to a national disaster. They do rely on data obviously, not like they just rely on hunches to predict the weather, but what irks me is how they made her character feel extremely incompetent compared to other characters in the show.
Also for example the ML always make sure to do researches, analyze data, and works hard to come up with his opinions to share meanwhile there was a time when he jokingly said that he smelt ice in the air or something of the sort, then the FL was like how you did it?! Like really a person in her position asking such a dumb questions? Doesn't she know he analyzed data...etc to come up with it? It's not like he super powers.
You said people got easily fired for using wrong data, so how come she didn't get fired for making many mistakes, ignoring her director, even allowing that reporter to write such crap about the weather forecasting organization thanks to the lacking excuse she gave, being late...etc and lets not forget acting in a very unprofessional manner (Yelling and bringing their personal issues into work) in work place along with her ex fiancé. All that and still she won't be even probably scolded. In real world she should've been fired long time a go, but instead she gets promoted and forgiven constantly. There was a time (During the episode where she got late to work thanks to traffic) and I remember her boss asking her to make a decision and then she admits that she didn't really check the data or something, isn't that also a good reason to get her fired since she didn't do her job properly?

I agree! They could've handled her character way better than this.

I mean, yeah I also had that feel. Like she wasn't 100% into it. She might indeed be going through some things in real life which is understandable but if that's the case, she shouldn't let it show and affect her role. Since she was casted she should always try her best no matter what. If she isn't mentally stable or whatever then she shouldn't take any role to begin with and give the audience a lackluster performance which might lead to people hating on the show and also to her losing fans in the process.

I'm currently on ep 6 and what kind of bullshit was that mock trial about?! Everyone acting like dumb kids, why did they have to make the girl characters that stupid?! Also why all the girls treat Yeon Woo as their boyfriend who is cheating on them. Getting jealous, emotional, and angry over him and shit, even though he isn't. That scene was so absurd, it almost made me lose my likeness to the whole drama. Yun Woo keeps making tons of mistakes all cause he too afraid to hurt others feelings and crap when his job requires him to be serious and clever. I was so freaking disappointed at his character just like Mr. Choi and Ms. Kang. He even had the guts to lecture Mr. Choi afterwards...the fact that they like to make female characters overly emotional and unable to think properly cause they are so busy trying to murder each other over a guy is just pathetic. Just cause they see a guy they aren't even dating, standing next to another female, they decide to betray him and get into rage mode. That's why I dislike the inclusion of romance between co-workers/in work place. Especially in Law, thriller, and crime genres.
So far Ji Na and Yun Woo are the weakest and most poorly written characters in the drama which saddens me since I decided to watch this drama for Park Hyung Sik. Also that Mr. Chae disgusts me. His personality is so repulsive!

Wait, the doctors in this drama hit each other?! That reminded me of the drama Doctor Stranger when the second…
They always do that sort of crap in Kdramas. Also the whole concept of females hitting males for humor purpose. I mean if the guy sexually harass, attempt to hurt, or highly disrespect a woman then yes, she has the right to hit him as both defense and punishment, but apart from that she doesn't has any right to use violence. I don't get why they keep using that sort of humor, especially in stories revolved around working adults, in work places where they should make sure to not act in such a way to begin with. It's super ironic when a doctor who is supposed to heal and cure people, become the one harming them instead.

I don't know whether such things happen in korean hospitals, but this was downright bad. i might be black sheep…
Wait, the doctors in this drama hit each other?! That reminded me of the drama Doctor Stranger when the second FL kept kicking the ML's private area in the hospital in front of others. He didn't even do anything to deserve it too. I really couldn't stand how they acted as if they were college students goofing around instead of acting like the professional doctors they were supposed to be.

Shi On does an oopsie -> staff yell -> he gets scolded, rinse and repeat for 20 episodes. Probably my least favorite…
I can't stand that type of plot where characters make dumb mistakes all the time but no one cares, so I guess I will pass. When I saw the ratings and someone else praising this drama I was a bit excited even though I'm not really into medical genre, but thanks to your and other people here negative comments, I guess I will pass. Especially since it has freaking 20 episodes. Too many hours wasted.

Finally someone who agrees with me! I made long comments about all the 4 episodes that came out till now, saying…
Yes, I watched all eps aired of 2521 and just like you said the couple there are so realistic, mature, and likeable even though they are way younger than the couple here. FL knows how to deal with different situations well. I also agree, how come someone who went through a nasty, humiliating break up can be that easy. Not two days passed since the whole thing happened and yet she is basically repeating the same dang mistake. If it's so easy to sleep with someone just cause they happen to be within a meter distance from you, then all humans on the planet would be fucking randomly left and right. She is an adult so she shouldn't just allow herself to do that, what would happen if she got accidentally pregnant? Or he ended up being a bastard like her ex fiancé and decided to use it against her? Even many teens won't be that easy, let alone a "professional, careful, and intelligent" adult. Some people say that the plot shows her character growth...blah blah but really? Growth story should be about youngsters, newbies, and people who are just starting to chase their goals and career. Not about people who already reached a freaking director position. Also the way everyone acts in the office is so unprofessional. I'm baffled that everyone (Her co-workers, boss, and even the drama watchers) keeps rooting for her after all shit she done. She really needed to make many mistakes in her age and amount of experience to realize that she needs to start growing?! When even the ML who is younger doesn't really need to grow but she needs it?

This probably might be the weakest character Park Min Young ever played. Ha Kyung's character is very poorly written.…
Finally someone who agrees with me! I made long comments about all the 4 episodes that came out till now, saying same things you said along with other criticism to her character and the plot, but most people who read my comments and replied would disagree with me. They keep defending her attitude and stupid, illogical behavior all cause she went through a break up so she should be forgiven for all crap she did, as if she is a 13 years old naïve brat. They almost made me think I was being awfully cruel and harsh. I mean this is a drama which is revolved around adults who are doing a really serious job that can save or kill people, yet they treat it like any typical high school rom com. Since we share similar mindsets then I will be glad if you decide to check my comments later and tell me what do you think about all things I pointed out.

Ep 4 :
Well, I'm glad that the FL is finally starting to pick up herself and act a bit proper compared to the previous three episodes which made me really dislike her. I still don't like her much but if she keeps improving then I might end up liking her in the end, who knows. Her slip of tongue during the interview was another (But minor) mistake. Wish she explained more to the reporter than just end it with the low budget excuse. It's good she stood up against her ex about what his wife did and he didn't try to talk back like usual.
So now her ex is regretting not being with her? When everyone started praising her, he finally realize that he might've made a mistake and so he is the one who is starting to make stupid mistakes in his job. How ironic! He is basically a baby in a grown man body, kinda pathetic...him getting blamed for what his wife wrote doesn't make sense, it's not like he can control her in her work.
Also I can't stand it when co-workers think that they have the right to stick their noses into each other personal lives, like them insisting to know about ML "girlfriend" even though he made it clear that he wasn't comfortable enough to share it with them. Such conversations should be discussed in a café, not the office in front of their director even, and if someone makes it clear that he doesn't want to tell then they should just cut it and leave them alone. The FL shouldn't act panicked like that whenever they talk about the ML girlfriend cause she will end up busting herself out that way.
I guess it's good he is helping her a lot when it comes to work though (Because she obviously needs it since she doesn't has half of his talent) and am glad that she is starting to become more clear about her feelings to ML. I really hope their romance will not stay as a friend with benefit or something of the sort type, cause it's clear that he is really into her. But yeah, hiding their relationship for a while makes sense until they are 100% sure about what they want to do. I still don't like the whole concept of co-workers dating/dating in secrete overall, but they are still cute together, I admit it. ML is quite sly for making everyone think he is being a naïve, poor rookie who is getting bullied by his boss, that and the scene of him getting accidentally kneed on the stomach by FL were really funny.
Her mother is overdoing it with the whole going to shamans and ranking her daughter in weird places. Now she wants to kind of make her go through a matchmaking service?! Really? It's not like her daughter is a child, or can't find another man on her own. She is still pretty and young after all. She just needs to fix her annoying personality and how she deals with different situations, but apart from that she isn't that lacking. Her mother is being truly rude and controlling by doing that.
Can't believe ML's ex gf kept a picture of them like that though lmao the husband deserve it though. She is even bold enough to call him after she got married to the guy she cheated on him with. I really wanted him to ignore her calls.

Oh, I didn't notice the taxi scene you mentioned. My bad there. Yeah, I think the way they handle the whole plot is quite messy. I don't like how it's going so far and it just keeps emphasizing the FL's awful traits instead of making her likeable. What irks me more is how they make the ML character who is younger, less experienced, new in work place, and who also got cheated on almost perfect. He knows what to do and how to act quite logically all the time every where, yet they made the FL like that...she is a breathing mess/literal joke at this point. I'm baffled at the fact that she gets away with her stupidity as if nothing is happening when others get scolded left and right. If my boss was like that, even if she had same personal issues I would still not be able to trust her abilities nor respect her after seeing all the dumb mistakes and bad behavior she done.

Well, what you said also make sense in a way. But then that doesn't make the plot good anyways. Yes, her life became a mess due to the whole break up/cheating/one night stand crap but still the fact that she manage to make mistakes in work, yet never really pay the price for it and even hear words like "it's okay" when she acts that way is quite retarded. Just cause her love life failed, it doesn't mean that she has to make every mistake you could think of as a result. What if she made a work related decision bad enough that it lead to serious accidents and people dying? Would it also be forgiven due to her personal life issues? If a doctor kill a patient due to negligence cause they were going through a break up/divorce would that mean they don't deserve to be punished for it? If everyone make such mistakes just cause some bad things happened in their lives then that's just would lead to the world ending. I mean yeah, it's a drama/fiction but that doesn't mean it should be this bad written. Also both of her and her rude ex deserve to get scolded severely for creating drama in work place. They aren't in a freaking bar nor the street to yell and act like that.
Also they should be honest in the synopsis/tags so that people who will come expecting a badass FL won't end up wasting hours of their lives to realize it's the total opposite.

You said it yourself, a director! Not an intern. She acts like a damn child literally, I'm sorry but her being the youngest director isn't an excuse. Having a brain and using it to act logical and smart doesn't require you to be in your 40's or 50's. If she was considered good enough to become a director then she should act like it. You have the ML who is in a lower position, younger, and less experienced and yet he still act million times more mature, smart, and quick so she clearly has no excuse again. Many times she acts in a way that makes me even wonder if she knows anything about her job to begin with.
Yes, you can make one or two mistakes every now and then, but not 10+ everyday. About her ex, I don't care what happens between them as long as she keeps that out of work place. I hate how she behave in work place bringing her personal issues there which isn't professional nor right. I guess same goes for her rude ex as well. The fact that she let him yell at her and stood there for a period long enough to allow the ML to come and talk back to him was pathetic, I insist.
