im also disappointed with what we're given about FL so far. the synopsis was so misleading. im also expecting…
Well, you do have a point but I'm not sure my patience will hold up till that happen. Especially if they drag this nonsense for more than 2 or 3 other episodes. Also the mistakes she make are literally intern level, even interns might not be that bad and she was viewed as good enough to become a director, make important decisions, and lead others. Even others who are in lower positions aren't that bad. I can't get over that.
He barley show in this part. I watched 30 episodes so far and he only appeared for like 20 seconds ( flashbacks,…
Well, according to what I remember they never really explained what The Ultimate really referred to in any of the drama parts. The Ultimate is basically what is hidden behind the bronze gate which is supposed to be some sort of of amazing secrete. Probably a way to reach absolute immortality since they kept mentioning many ancient royal figures who were willing to do all sort of creepy stuff to become immortal and gain super powers by turning themselves into monsters. They showed that much, but when it came to the ultimate meaning, they always kept it vague. The Zhang family had to protect the secrete (AKA The Ultimate) for hundreds of years because of how important it is. I don't even think novels readers know for sure what exactly is hidden behind the gate. If it's really immortality then I guess the reason they want to protect and hide it that much, is due to their fear that it might fall into the hands of someone super evil and so it might lead to chaos in the world. Especially if it makes said person 100% undefeatable.
When Ji Woong gave Hee Do his history book so she will not be punished, for 0.5 seconds I went "awwwwww", but…
I also agree about the bullying part. I remember back in my high school, a guy beat the crap out of another guy's younger brother and when the parents came to school because of it, the bully's parents were rude as hell and even attempted to insult and fight with the victim's parents while the teachers just watched. The bully didn't even get a punishment, just some "scolding". The older brother of the bullying victim ended up getting in a fight with the bully later outside school along with his friends and it lead to people going to hospital and then he was forced to transfer school. All cause he couldn't handle the bully guy constant harassment to his younger brother and the fact that the school did nothing about it. In the end he was the one who was viewed as the bad one instead of the actual bully ironically.
Ep 3: Why do they keep making the FL a big fool? I keep losing respect for her every passing episode. Like not only that she made many huge mistakes and behaved in quite the unprofessional way during the first two episodes, but now they also make her go late to her work, as usual unable to focus or make a quick decision. She acts like a dumb child, even her manners aren't fitting for a person her age with such a high position in their organization. After all that and they aren't demoting her already?! She always get away with every shit she does wrong. Also ML keeps being there for her rescue all the time, she is now a total damsel in distress type instead of the "Highly intelligent and organized" bullshit they said on the synopsis. ML is supposed to be the naïve, clumsy one but he is a total opposite of that. The FL is the clumsy, stupid one. Even her co-workers don't view her seriously. I'm sorry but I'm on the verge of dropping the drama because of her. If they were clear and said the FL is supposed to be the messy, chaotic, and air head character then I will let it pass, but the fact that she is supposed to be smart or whatever, yet doesn't behave that way gets on my nerves. She isn't a damn rookie for fucks sake, how come the younger, newbie ML is 10000000 more professional, hard working, and talented than her?! She acts foolish then pretend to be professional, cold, and stuck up to hide her embarrassment. This plot doesn't make any sense at all. He even helps her with daily life things like selling her stuff. The fact that her ex still humiliate her in front of others in work place to a point where ML had to interfere and stand up for her before she could grown a backbone and reply shows how pathetic she really is. Also that bus scene, couldn't she take a taxi instead? She is clearly financially able enough for it. Her having sexual relationship/one night stand like that with a fellow co-worker, one that is even in lower position than her is quite the stupid thing to do. It could lead to many issues and humiliation later to her in future. To her luck, Shi Woo is a really good guy who clearly won't use that for his advantage but still...I don't even get why he likes her to begin with. The ML is the only reason I keep watching at this point. Glad his ex gf is now realizing that she might've lost a great bf after seeing how her husband is treating her.
This drama could have been a lot better without the one-night stand situation. I really hope dramas don’t become…
I agree! I fell in love with Kdramas because they were different than Western shallow and gross ones. But now they are using the same style...I mean I'm not against sexual content as long as it's done right. This drama ain't doing it right for me.
My long rant:ep 1- HSK is venturing into an abandoned station on her own where dead bodies are and a potential…
I totally agree with everything you said. The drama tried so hard to be deep and complicated, but it ended up giving me a headache instead of making me invested.
The drama had so much potential like tunnel n life on mars but the plot was much more complicated n it would have…
Personally, I will be honest. I watched this drama just for Yoon Shi Yoon. He is among the few rare actors who can play two or more roles in the same drama, yet manage to convince you that all characters are different people with different minds and personalities. I consider that a prove of how great of an actor he is, but I was like half sleep most of the time while watching the drama cause I just found it a bit too boring and just like you said stupid at times. Apart from Yoon Shi Yoon's characters, I couldn't care about any of the other characters, I barley give a fuck about the serial killer and other crimes. I don't care about the FL at all. The drama gives a badass vibe, but it's not.
In webtoon she ends with Eun Han? Or what other guy? I only watched 3 episodes so far but I don't mind spoilers…
I see! So because she kind of missed a father figure in her life, her brain automatically lead her to guys who reminded her of her father/ Something of the sort? It's close to when young guys/girls get attracted to way older people cause they lack a father/mother figure and need affection?

Toxic plot and characters at it's finest. No decent with a brain functioning properly person would behave the way any of these characters do, especially Na Bi. How can someone who was already in an abusive relationship end up in another abusive one and by choice?!
