The plot and giving historical and archeological points while not losing the grasp of story is very well balanced and nice. Also the characters, even the villains, are relatable and likable.

The dynamic in the village and families are so good.

I really disliked the character of Mu's wife (Shulan). The complacent hypocrite type who turn a blind eye to their family's wrongdoings and crimes and busy themselves by charities and doing useless things with that filthy money to feel good... They're so hateful...These ever victims!

When Chairman becomes stubborn and take Lucia under his wings, no one can do anything and Lawyer Kim probably can't do anything either. They're too complacent qs you say, they've became a bunch of doormats...


I really don't know about this one, Lawyer Kim tells GC? don't? She and her father have a fall out about her lost love? They push SR's sharesgate forward and Lucia will fasten her belt by cleaning it and saving SR while her siblings only cared for themselves. Also shows the love SR seriously lacks.

I think if he's sure and she confess it's SH and not pull out some bu****** about being sick out of sympathy again, he'll make Lucia to reject Chairman's advances and stay away from him.

He's a top level nasty piece of work, almost inhuman in his lack of empathy...

Just for the sake of seeing him break like a china doll and suffer I want MS to be his daughter. I don't know (think) if he'll be drawned in guilt like Professor Kang from Sky Castle or Ha YeonChul in Penthouse after they found out they had a hand in their daughters' deaths but still it got to bring some pain to him, even though he had doubts about it already and still did what he did. Insufferable man!!😬😬

It'll be interesting if GC finds out her lover's dead and not moved on and happy as she thought. The blow would be huge....


I don't think SJ has anything on Lawyer Kim. It's his personality to have not much of a loyalty to anyone as Chairman once told GC he'll serve anyone who benefits him while MTG is loyal.

Yeah, her one priority must've been MS's health not going to Mingang, making scene everyday and one by one losing MS's future hopes that could and would have given her hope and saved her.

I don't pity Lucia tbh, she wasn't the reason her daughter died, but she played a big role in it. Her rash, thoughtless and foolish actions led to MS losing all hope and spirit in living. Now she blames everyone but herself. I don't care for Lawyer Kim but his courtroom-quality provocations after that left handed incident was spot on.

She'll pay for her one-time sentimentality. Good for her...

And Stella's the big winner! Spending some of her heirless millions for Lucia's make over and glamour, sitting down and enjoying her tea and all the while taking revenge and doubling that money too.

I would've slapped him too and sent him to HR for settling his accounts and leave. How such ruthless entitled people have been tolerating him for 4 yrs is a wonder!

If it was not a Makjang and MTG wasn't the ML, he would've been fired 10 times by now. Not only he has failed thoroughly in his job and wasted company's funds and resources and lost contracts, he also talks back and is rude to the higher-ups and noses into everybody's business....

Yes. It's funny how for the sake of convenience and keeping Yeon Ha in the story they keep bringing her back inside the house. In the real life she never would've been allowed to come sit in the kitchen and gossip! Cheobals aren't this welcoming ...
