I think it's a possible theory. Not necessarily Chai Ming but someone of Heaven Path as a real traitor. Good plot or bad, many characters in this drama had their trust broken by the people they loved and trusted. NYJ and his friends' love and admiration for their fallen friends is heavily emphasised during the drama and is the main reason for them taking this mission.


Now this said, if the rumours about them turn out to be not so empty after all, that would be quite a blow to them.

Exactly and worse is that sometimes they don't show actual subtitles because of them or it is so short you have pause to read the longer ones.

Also, I believe his emotions and obsessions are a bit masochistic, he wasn't shown any love and Ruyi wasn't the sweet parent-like shifu we see in many dramas, on the contrary she was even worse and cold to him than his family. She didn't treat him well then and doesn't now (though he deserve it now😅). Getting this attached to her is understandable but weird.


I was seriously hoping for an individual story about him and the princess, they look very compatiable but she's barely there☹

I'm very disappointed with how they're making LTG. I haven't seen 25-6 but I don't think he'll getting any better if not worse.


They wrote a complex character with high potential who wants the power to actually do good for once and isn't a villain but turning him into an unhinged lunatic 😬😬What a waste....

I think so too. There's been already several foreshadowing about his fate, and it's a favourite trope of writers to turn nonchalant characters like womanizers and dummies into the heros.

In the past, they killed every body relevantly and irrelevantly just to leave an impression and now even the people with the deadliest sickness who were at the edge of the death during the whole story can live without any cure😒😂


Anyway, AJTL has several main cast and all of them are fighters, a death or two seems inevitable.
