For me, I don't really like the song every time DFQC uses his hellfire, with the electric guitar, and also the song when XLH uses her full power, with the Chinese opera voice. When it is used in the drama, it's fine but when to hear only that song, nope for me.
Besides the above songs, I think the others are good. The lyrics for the slow songs suited our leads and their situation.

But DFQC's father doesn't have the same views as him, the moon tribe is in danger at that time because of Chi di. So, he needed to make sure DFQC can master the hellfire fast. DFQC did say before to XLH that to handle the hellfire,
1) needs to have talent
2)rid of love
I think there is a scene where they talk about the hellfire, that there is a way aside from being emotionless, but it will take too long to master it, and DFQC's father has no choice.

based on the trailer XLH will survive, so both are the only survivors so far then

Thanks. The consistency of the characters in this drama is one of the best so far, I'm gonna miss this drama when it ends.
And I would like to add that tbh, I kinda knew Jieli will do something bad to XLH when she appears in front of XLH at the palace, but it will only be because she's being forced, so I'm not surprised at the twist, but I have a theory that she might be related to danyin and also ronghua knows danyin parents from different tribes, so there might be more secrets about that, maybe it's twins but danyin is more like a fairy and jieli is more like the moon tribes, but liyuan looks like a good father, so they might actually be cousins, I really hope they reveal it before it ends.

DFQC love for XLH makes me cry T.T he knows how special XLH is, but he also knows that people are not convinced because of her appearance.
Sometimes in dramas, I really can't comprehend the reason both males lead like fml, but in these dramas, it's not like that at all.
How can you not fall in love with someone as kind as XLH? Even in ep 8, when she realizes DFQC is from the moon tribe, she sends him home and even packs food for him. CH too, she helps him during their first meeting even when she doesn't know him at all, she doesn't hesitate.
DFQC is right, although Xunfeng and the people from moon tribes cannot see it yet, she IS the only one suitable to be by his side.

As for Xunfeng, I don't think he's suitable to even become a minister. Personally, I think he is more suited to be one of the soldiers that don't need to think and just follow the order. I understand him trying to do what he thinks is good for the moon tribes, but he just doesn't have the mind. Putting aside that he doesn't have the hellfire, he's quite short-sighted too. In earlier episodes from 10 - 17, I can see that DFQC knows how to use people to their best to make sure the moon tribes are taken care of, so even if he doesn't have hellfire, I'm sure he will still be a great ruler. Xunfeng has become the ruler for 30,000 years and still cannot give people assurance. Their father doesn't have the hellfire but at least he managed to not create any internal fight. So, yeah, as of ep 28, I just don't think he can be a great ruler, but who knows, maybe he will change in the future(?)

CH is the best in this episode, the reason he defends XLH is not just because he likes her, he really doesn't think she betrays the fairy realm. I swoon so bad when he doesn't even bat an eye at his brother. He knows what's right and that makes him so hot. But I just can't ship him with XLH because it's like what XLH said, "she doesn't realize there are many feelings in this world and the one she has for him is gratitude". XLH has never truly liked him, it's more like a crush that she looks at from afar, unlike with DFQC, she really gets to know him up close. I'm glad they didn't ruin his friendship with Rong hao, after being friends for 30,000 years, he knows his character so well, that he can still keep calm when he suspects it's him.

wow, interesting, I did wonder too about the words chi di said to XLH, and I never thought about the possibility that maybe he didn't hate her because of their past, because her clan has always been peaceful and neutral, so I thought that he just doesn't implicate innocents. But I think your theory could work too.

I really like that theory about hellfire, because in ep 26, the one that looks more worried is Shangque and Xunfeng. DFQC even said that it is temporary so I'm guessing he knows some ways how to get the power back

Today's episodes are so hard because first, every character in this drama has their own agenda that we as the viewer can understand (except for yuanzhong lol, I still hate him).
Ronghao actually doesn't want to kill fairies, the moon tribe to make evil spirits at first too, but then he did it because he got threatened with his master's life. When he plays the flute, it goes back to a scene where he plays it on the street during winter with barely enough clothes. So, I can understand his reluctance to let go of his master.
As for Danyin, she's young, I'm afraid that ronghao will manipulate her to do stupid things. I can understand her panicking about changheng and her prejudices, it's because she only knows about the moon tribe based on rumors in the fairy realm. Also, I just hope she gets to meet changheng in tomorrow's episodes.
XLH, her dilemma T.T I feel hurt for her when they keep on saying about betrayal. She's the most neutral among the main characters, she also understands both sides the most, having grown up in the fairy realm, living with DFQC in cangyan sea, and mingling with the moon tribes. It's no wonder that she cried so bad when DFQC said he will still avenge the moon tribes. The pressure she must have felt in ep 26 when she said she wants to be alone T.T I hope DFQC will quickly tell her that she is the Goddess Xishan.
Xunfeng makes my head hurt. I don't hate him because his reasons to want to kill XLH are valid and also the grudges between 2 tribes are too deep for him to start treating her like Shangque.

It's hard to conclude anything or whether or not it's because of what Xunfeng said alone that she will try to kill herself, maybe there will be something else that is bothering her too, who knows, maybe she finds out more about the curse, or know how much he will suffer because he cannot control the hellfire thus she made that decision. So far, based on the recent episodes I believe the production team will make the suitable change for it to happen.
I don't really think she's a klutz though, I respect your view and I feel like that too at first, but then I see how she behaves when outside of her arbiter hall at the fairy realm. She doesn't seem like someone that doesn't think at all, and she also seems much more restrained which shows that she only behaves like that in her home, where we are most comfortable. When she's in the moon tribe too, I could see that she's also being careful too. When he gets mad at her when she tries to give him that orchid plant, she knows that she needs to back off and quietly go back to her room. So, in my opinion, she's not a klutz, she knows her boundaries and limits, and with her being out of her home, her mind becomes quicker too.
