Ohhhh i have a fun question to ask! Which guy do you prefer for Gorya? Thyme or Ren?
Trust me, i love Ren with all my heart in all the versions. But he will move on and find another girl to love in the future like how we saw him move on from Mira.

Thyme is a one-woman type of guy. He will only love once, but it is for always.

Even if Ren hadn`t left for France in ep 3, Thyme still would have tried to get close to Gorya. He would have asked (demanded) her out for a date, they would still encounter each other, they would still bicker, they would still get to know each other, they would still get attracted to each other...they would still fall in love. In any other way, however it may happen. They would still fall in love. Always.

i love ohm, but this looks like that f4 bullshit. toxic af. i didn't want my boy to be in a series like this.…
How did F4 romanticize violence and bullying when there was horror music/theme everytime it happened? I did not find one ounce of romance in those scenes. They were supposed to be horrifying.

Tu totally stole my heart in her portrayal of Gorya in "F4 Thailand" so i am soooo excited for new projects from her. This girl can act!

I was just re-watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer on Disney+ and it got me thinking:

What the HELL?

The relationship between Gorya & Thyme reminds me exactly of the relationship between Buffy & Spike!!!

Both Gorya and Buffy are awesome badass heroines.

Both Thyme and Spike are introduced as the villians of the show who both later get their redemptions.

Buffy punches Spike almost everytime she sees him like Gorya does with Thyme. Both couples always bicker and have this intense hate-to-love kind of romance.

Spike and Thyme are both very awesomely developed Anti-heroes.

OMGGGGG

Chile, you need to take a break for a week. You sound delusional and obsessive. Telling folks what to watch, based…
People can watch whatever they want, absolutely.

But wow how your comment sound rude to someone who was just warning of a trope people may find triggering. People have also all the right to ignore her comment, or take her advice and not to watch this show.

So what if there is some aggressive tone and attitude behind it? She didn`t attack or disrespect anyone. There is honesty and great deal of personality in MaraClara`s comment.

Why do we viewers (and real fans of the BOF Saga) love the main hero Thyme Paramantra (aka Domyjoji Tsukasa) so much? It happens everytime, in every version. We always know he is the anti-hero/villain from the start. We know he is broken. We know he is violent and drunk in power. We know he only brings misery and chaos from the start.

still, this boy manages to steal our hearts to the very end.

The rooftop scene when Ren and Gorya was talking about what happened in France and the sketch book turning the…
I love Ren as a character, have always had a soft spot for him in all the versions and even the manga.

He have a deep connection with Gorya, but then the thing is they were never meant for each other. Ren will be able to move on, but that would have been impossible for Thyme. Thyme would never be able to move on from her.

I completely agree on some of your points. Gorya's lack of character development. The lack of romance. The "different…
wooowww you totally nailed it!

Rosalyn told Gorya to tear Thyme apart for his old beast self to awaken.

Also why the scene in the rain is more crueler than in the former versions, it was like a execution. Thyme always had this fear and insecurities of never being enough for Gorya. Gorya hit all of that back in his face..evoking his demons he have tried to overcome for so long. If Gorya (of all people) tells him that he is not enough..not worthy. Then who else will think him worthy of love?

This was the Chessboard with Rosalyn controlling all the pieces. She won. She made Gorya sacrifice herself.

I haven’t finished watching this yet, but I know that Gorya is definitely going to somehow end up with Thyme,…
It is so true. Thyme may not be the perfect guy for Gorya, but no one will ever love her like he does.

Just starting this series and although everyone is saying the ending was kind of disappointing, I am still excited…
The ending was SOOOO GOOD! Still shocked by the way the writers did it. Hope you enjoy it as well.

One thing i so darn much love about this version is how they strongly highlight the masculine four archetypes The Four Flowers belongs to.

Thyme belongs to "The King" archetype. He starts off as a High Chair Tyrant who thinks the world revolves around him. He demands but he doesn`t inspire.Even when his needs are met, the care often doesn’t meet his unreasonable expectations, so he throws a tantrum. He is destined to become The Divine Child who wants a better world for himself and the whole kingdom. In the end of this show we finally see Thyme becoming the Mature King, healing his whole kingdom and getting together with his Queen.

Kavin belongs to "The Magician" archetype. He is the Know-it-all trickster and we also see the Kitsune sign on his clothes several times ( even the cafe Kavin and Kaning was in ep 7 was named Kitsune) which speaks to a trickster Fox shapeshifting all the time. This archetype is master in deception and manipulation in which we see with Kavin`s character several times with the way he uses his charm.

Ren belongs to "The Lover" archetype. This archetype is connected to the world and people around him. The Lover is attuned to the mysterious forces underlying our everyday existence. At first this archetype falls into the "Momma`s boy" who wants love and nurture, like we saw with Ren. In the end we see him in his full version of Mature Lover where we see him trying to woo Gorya.

MJ falls into "The Warrior" archetype. MJ starts off in the negative state of being a Grandstander Bully and fitting into the shadow archetype "The Masochist" that also fits closely to the "Coward" archetype in which we see in ep 2 and ep 7 where we see he clearly hates what Thyme is doing but doesn`t do anything to stop it because he does not dare to risk his friendship with Thyme in any way. We see him becoming the Mature Warrior when he finally releases his frustration in the fight between The Four Flowers.

THIS WAS FANTASTIC! 10/10 STARS!

One of the best dramas i have ever seen! It just blew my mind away with how far superior they made this version! The characteristics of The Flower Four...the incredible heroine Gorya and her cute friend Kaning! I fell in love with everyone!!! The flower shop owner was such a fun character as well!

Gorya is so mentally strong and refused to break down in the pressure of F4´s terrifying bullying system in the school. Despite coming from a poor background she stayed steadfast in her beliefs and morals. She was flawed and i loved it because she was so relatable. Her name means weed...and she helped The Four Flowers grow and she grew together with them. Her incredible bond with Ren, a person that seemed so far out of reach to her. I love how Ren was always there for her whenever Thyme was unable to. Her guardian angel.

Her nemesis Thyme who made her life miserable in the start. He is the cursed Black Rose, The Divine Child who starts off as the High Chair Tyrant but who is destined to transform. With a cursed King also comes a cursed kingdom which rest of F4 realizes and they recognize Gorya as the rightful Queen early on in this story. Gorya changes Thyme`s life the minute she gives him The Footprint of a Meteor through that kick. She is F4´s shooting star, inprinting her (dirty) footprint on Thyme and
never expecting to steal his heart.

All the archetypes, symbolism, episode titles, dialuges, scenes, developements, arcs, OST`s and all the characters are so well done that i am still in shock. THIS DRAMA IS FANTASTIC...SOOOO FANTASTIC!
