Kla in my opinion never went villian mode, but more of a wounded Anti-hero needing some sort of closure. But his hatred towards his wife went very deep especially early on when they reunite. There is that scene where he let the servants put those flowers in the reusturant , fully KNOWING that Kim was going to be there and knowing that she is extremely allergic to those flowers. When she fell down and raised her hand to him and him just looking coldly at her, jeez i got freekin chills by that scene!!!!!

How the long years of separation tormented them, both were victims of such horrendous crimes by the villains. Especially Kla, i mean, what they did to him and how dark he became.
