Yeah, both the skinship/intimacy and the mature female lead are definitely what I meant. I've only seen very fluffy and colourful Chinese dramas so far with pretty immature, childlike leads, even though I haven't really watched too many Chinese dramas, as I'm more of a K-drama guy. These dramas are clearly made for a younger audience, but I didn't feel that from this drama. One example of a Chinese drama like this is "The Forbidden Flower" (2023). I didn't personally watch it due to the ending, but just from seeing some clips, I could tell how mature and serious the vibe was, and the romantic scenes looked very realistic.
There are some C-dramas that definitely do have more mature romance, but they don't have the intensity or seriousness that this drama did. It'd be great if you could recommend C-dramas like that. I'm fine with them being short in length like this one. Of course, if you can't think of any, that's fine too.
I love the mature romance in this drama. I haven't seen many Chinese dramas that focus on such an adult theme. Most Chinese dramas tend to be very PG and childlike, unlike many Korean dramas that often explore mature relationships. Even though I haven't watched a ton of Chinese dramas, I find it rare to see one with this level of maturity. Can someone recommend a Chinese drama with a similar mature romance, rather than the usual child-like themes? Of course, I'd hope the drama would have a happy ending.

Yeah, it's definitely one of the better AI-generated ones. I noticed it quite a bit with some speeches. Then again, I am pretty picky; if it ain't a perfect speech, I tend to notice fast. I'll probably check it out still, as I'm not bothered waiting for Tencent's indefinite release plan for their subs.

are you sure it's the same quality as the subs on Tencent? I tried watching episode 3 part 1 on Bilibili from the user you suggested, it's pretty difficult to understand, do the subs get better or?
