It felt boring and long, that's how it is. Wasn't all too exciting to watch the plot repeat itself over and over again in every episode. In my opinion, all they did was move from one room to the other...again, again...and again. Could very much be the case you found it exciting, thrilling and so on --- I didn't. Imo, they could have easily cut down the episodes by a lot.
I did miss some points in my already long comment from the last episode lolI loved the Dragon Ball Z reference…
The knife looks similar to what MissNeighbour was fighting with at the hospital. Maybe she even dropped the key there, resulting in Miss Cult getting access to Ryosuke's apartment? It would also explain why the neighbour rang his doorbell this time instead of just walking in as usual.
I wonder if Atsuto is really Hayashi's son. That test could be fake.
Okay, episode 2 of S2 kind of revealed a lot this time. Maybe not with enough context but I think I can try to guess some things now.
- The cult woman seems to be the mother of the frozen boy that was sent to Ryosuke. She talked about having a son, a frozen heart and how there is no eternity. - Ninomiya seems to be linked to the assassin in some way, hm... - Maho still appears very suspicious. - The neighbour is soo obviously suspicious... she might not even be the culprit in any way. Yes, she threatened Atsuto but maybe out of love for Ryosuke. She seems to be in love with him a bit too much... and maybe that's all there is to it. As Atsuto said his father is the culprit, she might have just wanted him to either retract his statement or never talk about it again.
I haven't seen all the episodes yet, but have been keeping up with the spoiler and theory released, so I would…
Yes, I am also against the evil twin reveal, I just thought it kinda made sense. I still find it suspicious though, that so far his parents haven't made any appearence yet. Unless they're already dead, there is no logical reason as to why they wouldn't contact him during these times. Hm... or maybe a plothole, ahah.

I always think I overlooked something very simple but crucial that would make me go "ahh" and explain eveything. But at the same time I don't think enough was revealed yet...but who knows. It's frustrating, ahaha.

Thank you for your reply! I agree with a lot of things.
Issei was very suspicious to me from the first episode he appeared. I still think he might be the actual stalker of Hikari. Everything he told Sagara could easily be just lies. And since he has an issue with his own father... there could definitely be a link here.
Ok, I have officially come to terms with typical "evil twin" trope. It might very well be the case here. The dad seems to be the culprit but he is not... so? A look-alike aka twin. Throughout the entire story, Maho's parents have been involved but what about Sagara's?? Is that a hint... he is an orphan or smth?
So basically... it could be the story of an evil twin trying to take revenge on his brother who had a good life compared to him?
Multiple indicators why this could be true:
- The kidnapping: It's not easy to kidnap three people at once. If it was someone who looked exactly like a family member, they probably would leave with him.
- In the first episode, a woman mistook Sagara for someone.
- Acchan DID see his father commit crimes -- except it wasn't the father but an evil twin?
I loooooveee (*sarcasm*) how this drama throws in 2039829 characters and doesn't tell you ANYTHING about them, so you cannot even try to come up with proper theories, lol.
Oh my God...I have so many things i want to say!!!Hayashi is dead...ok...we know his father in law was also targeting…
I thought the same way about the video. But she did say "at this point neither my mother nor I can make it out alive" which maybe could mean...nobody makes it out alive, since the mother is already dead and she might die as well?
Also, if this guy is having a split personality thing, how sound is his mind after all?! I wouldn't trust a DID/MPD…
So far I don't really like the woman's character and the way it's written. But I am guessing (or hoping), she will become more important from now one, once the story starts to focus more on the dead woman's case since it is connected to a whole other thing.
I'm so disappointed in this show and I truly don't understand why it's getting such high ratings, I literally…
I think we will get that connection later on + this is exactly what the drama wants. You're not supposed to sympathize with anyone except for the girl and that one officer. Once more episodes are out, it will be all about the main character's journey and his change.
Ahhh, I love ChengXiao but the directing of this is kind of weird.. Like the beginning, there is no proper introduction or build up, we just get thrown into the story -- not in a good way.
