Im actually someone who watch series only with better plotline and sometimes slight romance so idk if it would be on your taste(unless too bored i usually don’t go for idol romance). What i can tell you is if you just go and watch my given ratings here, in every 10-9.5 ratings, those MLs never simp towards a woman for no reason and even if they do, they do it with a backbone and honestly only when the FL EARNS that. Says Pursuits of Jade for example, the love and care Fan Changyu showed for ML in the initial linan arc, no men in the real world will fumble a woman of her kind let alone a fictional man.
Is that drama a good one ? ( The justice) what was the mistake she done ?
Unfortunately, there was a guy who lingered around her for quite some time and she did gave him some hints(for her gains) but to compare with her character between this 2 series, she was very clear headed also dark and shady there. Her only goal of life was to avenge his father and to do that she go any length.
But honestly that drama shifted a lot after the abortion and divorce incident, she also then instead of ruining herself more for a revenge; chose to uphold her father legacy on business and helped ml a lot and ultimately became his business partner.
[honestly Ive watched that drama atleast a years ago and after that Ive became a fan of the ML(Zhang XinCheng) and i Ive watched everything he has worked in this decade and apart from You are my lover friend, in all of his series, he has prioritised his goals more than getting too much emotional about a relationship(Created in China is the prime example), and thus most of his series has very low ratings despite having very unique and realistic plot with high budget and other high profile casting.]

Fl who’s from a rich parents always had a carefree life while ml was a dirt pure with a knack for business and when the MC met, ML fall for her at first site and fl also found him interesting. That being said when they meet again the situation was reversed; ml was the rich one while FL has lost everything. What really happened was ML who’s great at business attract the main villain(old guy didn’t have his own child) who then took him first as his lackey then like a right hand man and then he was so satisfied with him that took him as his son and wanted to hand over his wealth and everything to him.
And what happened with fl was her dad got killed by the main villain and she became very vindictive. To hurt the villain whose weakness was ml(old guy genuinely cared for him) she thought ml might’ve involved in his father’s case and so despite hating him, she get married to him very early(like first in 4-5 ep). And her malice towards the ml aka her husband goes on for like half of the shows. In that time she did so many shady things which put the ml on the spot meanwhile ml was completely in the dark and he was very happy with his marriage(Ml was very goated in business and clearly his only problem was his love for his wife).
Now here comes her most questionable act, She became pregnant with ML’s baby and she became so disgusted at herself that she to abort the baby used very questionable methods which ultimately resulted her to be admitted at hospital for many days and ultimately be infertile. At that time(nearly 20 episodes or early 20) ML gets to know the reason she married him and the baby incident so he divorced him. He also then left the old man and started his own business and that was when fl understood that she misunderstood ml. So she joins his business and helped ML a lot to make the business successful while also getting multiple harsh rejections from him but they do end up happily together at the end.
Everyone watched that drama says that’s between the ml the main villain and the fl, what was there was surely a love triangle xd. The main villain valued the ML so much that it became all source of problem.

Wow, Ive only completed one of his work(Young Babylon) and he was a borderline simp there as well. Yk to me the biggest typa simps are the one who stays a simp despite their partner having multiple cheating typa problems and he was the one. His character has so negative view on me that Ive avoided all his shows after that(well not completely his fault as im not into xinxia)

In his LAST TEN YEARS of series there wasn’t a single one where he has let a wrong woman(let alone his legitimate WIFE) dictate his whole life this much. She’s clearly being married, borderline cheating on him emotionally and also mildly physically yet he’s the one who’s being insecure while she’s trampling over his feelings without even giving a damn. What she’s doing is absolute wrong yet as she knows he’s a good guy aka the biggest simp who won’t hold her accountable for anything; we’re just 7 episodes into the finale yet still she’s running between her husband and ex.

This is the second drama of Elvira i’m drawn to (first one is THE JUSTICE) and in both drama she has a very questionable marriage with MLs. Funny enough in that one as well ML divorced him(he had backbone, even if he loves her if she wrong then she must pay) and only then she actually understood her mistake. Atleast she had a better redemption arc on that one and she pretty much redeemed herself but here not much episodes are left so thats looking very unlikely atp.
Also idk why JBR take this role because this typa loser for love role is not something that allign with his image.

I was always a kdrama viewer and always watched only kdrama for 3/4 years than it was in 2024 I accidentally found “Reset” in youtube and really liked the ml bcs yk in kdrama ml are mostly stoic perfect greens but loved how flawed with a character development BJT was. So after that I searched him up and found out about AOTM which became my second cdrama.
As i was watching that one i saw one girl(which I thought the main fl) put a lot of effort to pursue him with lots of care and then they gets in a relationship(this is NOT NORMAL in kdrama where male character get into relationship with other female rather than fl so my mistake was understandable). And after all the effort of like ten episodes which took her to get him, with just one problem he faced she literally left him like nothing. Also after that literally in the next episode she was on with another dude(who is also in this series) because that guy buys her a cycle!! like what in the crap was that!!!!
My point of this long paragraph is this typa outer generation stereotypical screenwriter always try to fit a character in every work of their where atleast one women character has to give in to men when they gets benefits from them. And he did this to jelly here. Just bullshit.
Man im just so angry watching this show. 😠 I usually drop series like this without a second thought but Ive to finish it to see what actually happen at the end to my girl jelly, im mentally ready to give this the worst rating of all my watched. On another note, LiangLiang is such a loser character here it’s just sad that his last character in Created in China was imo just so good in terms of reliability. That was also a 90’s show and there he was such a natural businessman who helped his buddy building an empire with such professionalism. And then here we are It’s a shame we’re just 6 ep from ending and he still hiding and crying in his room.

And also apart from getting mistreated character recently most of her works has been centered with involving lots of other main cast like this one WoF, FoC NoPainNoGain. Let's hope she with the series with zlh finally get her a good man plus a good story

And tbvh the reason i added FoC here in case if you remember when she was applying for her hospital approval she was almost assaulted by a creep. that was actually a one beautiful deviation of her recent works where her character actually stood up for herself while also getting herself a better man.
I honestly don't know why jelly get so much casted in this typa roles where she has to give in or almost give in to old creeps. This happened in Imperfect Victim, happened some sort in footprints of changes and now here. I truly hope the drama she currently shooting with ZLH give her a better standing position so that she can get out of this kinda creep experiments because she's just too pretty for this.
