No i don’t need to know someone personally to project their “image”. JBR is not your typical idol actor(despite having the looks to be one). In his LAST TEN YEARS of series there wasn’t a single one where he has let a wrong woman(let alone his legitimate WIFE) dictate his whole life this much. She’s clearly being married, borderline cheating on him emotionally and also mildly physically yet he’s the one who’s being insecure while she’s trampling over his feelings without even giving a damn. What she’s doing is absolute wrong yet as she knows he’s a good guy aka the biggest simp who won’t hold her accountable for anything; we’re just 7 episodes into the finale yet still she’s running between her husband and ex.
This is not his typical character and someone like me who’s interested in his COMEBACK PROJECT, his character is a rather shock. that’s exactly what i wrote about his “image”. So next time before jumping into contradicting someone’s opinion use your brain(if you have any) to think first on what you’re writing.
This is the second drama of Elvira i’m drawn to (first one is THE JUSTICE) and in both drama she has a very questionable marriage with MLs. Funny enough in that one as well ML divorced him(he had backbone, even if he loves her if she wrong then she must pay) and only then she actually understood her mistake. Atleast she had a better redemption arc on that one and she pretty much redeemed herself but here not much episodes are left so thats looking very unlikely atp.
Also idk why JBR take this role because this typa loser for love role is not something that allign with his image.
Feeling bad for ML. FL is still in love with SML and she is cheating on ML emotionally now with SML. Hugging SML…

I was always a kdrama viewer and always watched only kdrama for 3/4 years than it was in 2024 I accidentally found “Reset” in youtube and really liked the ml bcs yk in kdrama ml are mostly stoic perfect greens but loved how flawed with a character development BJT was. So after that I searched him up and found out about AOTM which became my second cdrama.
As i was watching that one i saw one girl(which I thought the main fl) put a lot of effort to pursue him with lots of care and then they gets in a relationship(this is NOT NORMAL in kdrama where male character get into relationship with other female rather than fl so my mistake was understandable). And after all the effort of like ten episodes which took her to get him, with just one problem he faced she literally left him like nothing. Also after that literally in the next episode she was on with another dude(who is also in this series) because that guy buys her a cycle!! like what in the crap was that!!!!
My point of this long paragraph is this typa outer generation stereotypical screenwriter always try to fit a character in every work of their where atleast one women character has to give in to men when they gets benefits from them. And he did this to jelly here. Just bullshit.
Man im just so angry watching this show. 😠 I usually drop series like this without a second thought but Ive to finish it to see what actually happen at the end to my girl jelly, im mentally ready to give this the worst rating of all my watched. Mannnn everything on this drama starting from the name is wrong ugggghhh.
On another note, LiangLiang is such a loser character here it’s just sad that his last character in Created in China was imo just so good in terms of reliability. That was also a 90’s show and there he was such a natural businessman who helped his buddy building an empire with such professionalism. And then here we are It’s a shame we’re just 6 ep from ending and he still hiding and crying in his room.

And also apart from getting mistreated character recently most of her works has been centered with involving lots of other main cast like this one WoF, FoC NoPainNoGain. Let's hope she with the series with zlh finally get her a good man plus a good story

And tbvh the reason i added FoC here in case if you remember when she was applying for her hospital approval she was almost assaulted by a creep. that was actually a one beautiful deviation of her recent works where her character actually stood up for herself while also getting herself a better man.
I honestly don't know why jelly get so much casted in this typa roles where she has to give in or almost give in to old creeps. This happened in Imperfect Victim, happened some sort in footprints of changes and now here. I truly hope the drama she currently shooting with ZLH give her a better standing position so that she can get out of this kinda creep experiments because she's just too pretty for this.

personally i'd say this is a better edition of china's court related drama. It would be better if you give 1/2 episodes of it a watch and then decide for yourself
i remember before ZLH's series MJTY, Cheng Lei and Lu Yuxiao used to do all sort of supporting characters but after that they got a huge buff and became such high profile mainstream face. Now let's see if Deng kai and Kong xuer can replicate that especially Deng kai this guy is literally all over my tl rn even more than zlh.
