I know that historically speaking ,this age gap was normal back then, but I just can't bring myself to enjoy it when physically she looks like a kid while the ML is a grown man, even if her mental age is similar to his. It is also her SA, I'm not totally comfortable with that.
Maybe I'll give the drama a try when it airs.

I see, I don't think I will read it then, the age gap indeed makes me uncomfortable, even so when she's so young, maybe if she were 16 o more (and that's no really comfortable but it's better than 12).

I did read the final chapter (not the extras), and it looks like a happy ending. However, they weren't together for 8 years because he went to treat his poison and it took a while. They reunite in this final chapter, and there are extras, so I think it's safe to say it is a happy ending.

I don't know, sorry, I dropped the novel at chapter 320 and they get married some chapters after, but I don't know if they consummate their marriage and if it's explicit. What I know is that if you want romance, you'll need to be patient, it takes a while (the novel is very long).

Right now, the FL doesn't care if the ML dies, she prefers it and I understand her, but I kind of feel bad for the ML, I mean, she doesn't owe him anything but I kind of feel uncomfortable when she thinks she just needs to wait three to five years to be widowed. She doesn't hate him and he never treated her bad, maybe now they're not friends per se, but I think her detachment is too much, so I want to know when does she starts caring if he lives, just that, not about love o something more deep, just her really wanting him to live.

The novel it's quite long and I'm currently at the chapter 165. Now, I know the FL doesn't fall for the ML as quickly as him, but I just want to know one thing to be at ease (question below).

Mindf*ck is a 5 book series and I highly recommend it if you are into reading about a woman killing her abusers without an ounce of remorse. The plot is not so intricate, but if you are like me and enjoy reading how the bad guys get what they deserve, this is a good option. However, check the triggers, if you (like me) can't read mentions, flashbacks and descriptions of SA, this is not your story. I mentally prepared myself many months before reading it (my love for revenge plots is not healthy).

I want to read it, but I recently read a novel with a heavy revenge plot, so my quota is full for now, but I hope to give it a chance soon.

Now, I haven't read the chinese novel, but I find it similar because in both stories there is a:
FL killing people for revenge (although, in the Mindf*ck series, the FL has a VERY traumatic past), and the ML being part of the "police" following the killings, leading him to her, and even so, knowing what she did, he fell in love.
As I said, I haven't read the chinese novel, so if I'm wrong in my interpretation, pls tell me.

Reading the blurb again, this sounds kind of similar to Mindf*ck by S.T. Abby (I will explain myself below).

The blurb sounds like the novel The Disabled Prince Stood Up (残疾王爷站起来了), if anyone is interested in reading something similar, it's on MDN.

If you are considering watching this lakorn, just don't take it seriously and you will have a better time watching it. I mean, there are many cringe scenes and overlooked trauma and cheesy moments, but it wasn't so bad either. The ML was so frecking cute, and it was mostly thanks to him that I enjoyed it.
It could have been better, yes, but I wanted Mikey and I got Mikey so I'm good.

Here, someone said the ending is a HE, but when I googled it, it said it was neither sad nor happy, so bittersweet? I need more than one person to confirm that it's indeed a HE.

I'm confused, I need someone to tell me about the ending (spoiler below):

I was loving it until the last 4 episodes. To me, it was unnecessary, therefore, I couldn't enjoy it fully at the end.
On another note: the FL's make-up was so bad. I don't know if it was historically correct, but she looked sick with her paleness.
