I am so used to it after watching 4 JJY drama that I have learned to ignore her .
I dont know whether its her bad luck or she choose it but all drama she did end up as bad writing project and her lack of experimenting with her look make it difficult to praise her .

let hope that they does not broke up as the evil schemers wants

I have watched most of dramas of JJY after she did legend of yun xi and it seems writing is always an issue ....I wonder why ?

Yes I agree but JBN in drama is shown in drama someone who is smart and adjust accordingly to situation easily . For whole life she lived in palace but she easily adjusted in li Qian house after marriage which was smaller and away from capital ...so she might have known that LQ is imprisoning her for sake of their relationship ...going against his father wishes ...but she did not do that ( not smart at all ) instead she threw a princess tantrum and run away .
I agree they need to talk things out as both at fault but I think JBN action making it worse

I hate empress/ empress dowger ...the wife of ex emperor..
She is nothing but a bitch and unreasonable all the time ...I so wanted her to die but here we are where she not only survived , she is living life of luxory .
I don't get it where she get all her support from . I mean the emperor , her husband is dead . The current empeor is son of a maid and her son is nothing but a prince ...still how she got people around her help her with evil schemes ???
I understand that her dad is important minister in court but what benifit she can give from this relationship ....she is not ruling country director or indirectly .

I agree but I really hate how JBN acted in all this . I get she is hurt but all she did is run away, not giving LQ and their relationship time to smooth things out . On other side , yes LQ has trouble to communicate with JBN but its not like he drive her out of house or broke off their relationship. He tried to stop JBN so that they get opportunity to clear this misunderstanding , even run off to grandmother knowing that JBN will be there , pretend that every thing is fine ...what JBN did slap him in return ??

My frustration is that whole thing is all because of a book (which might have gone obsolete now just like with technology now days ) and not around some political affairs or corruption or something . The book came into existence , changed the hands which caused innocent blood to spill, it started 20 years ago and it is happening again ...ugh frustrating ...almost making it like a delusional state where others things are smooth (no droughts or floods no corruption , no evil scheming ) ..people just want the book or want to botch the happy married life of leads

Princess believes what her eyes sees but is it always correct that way ?

In relationship some wounds are not easily sharable. You have to understand that it involve her mother and he has been installed with the hate whoever killed her mother since young. Also he loves Baoning . Baoning is some one who lost her father in childhood and remember the good moments she shared with him ...so suddenly coming out like this "I think your dad killed my mom, I am not sure lets investigate " Is not easily ....but at least he tried to save their relationship. He locked her so that their relationship does not completely fall apart as his father wanted , because once she got to the capital , the misunderstanding will builtup resulting in breaking off...
He even tried to stop and search for his carriage when whole town questioning their relationship status , he cared nothing about it . He even lied in front of Grandmother , even when was not asked to come and pay a visit to grandma ...its too noble for him that he want to work out his relationship with princess but what she did (she is also responsible for their relationship). She get mad at Li Qian , did not even try to clear misunderstanding , ran away ...used him to lie in front of sick grandma and then slapped him because he wants to talk!
she practically broke off their relationship the moment father demanded she leave the house as they are enemies . Acting as if 5 years were nothing to her.

But how can a sane person remain same ?
He is shown that over 5 years he made great achievements and practically turned the town into leaf ....so haven't he learned and grown over past 5 years ?( It's impossible not to grow)

But this is not what put me off , you voice correctly ..how can a man stuck for same woman for 5 years knowingly that she is very much love with another person , the writer using the poor guy as a plot tool to make a story but it is just annoying ...also Empress /Empress dowger (ex emperor wife) is so annoying , I dont know how she get supporter when her husband is dead , her son is not emperor but a brother to emperor , I dont find any reason for court minister to support her.
Also I do agree with Li qian behavior but Princess behavior is also not justifiable , even though Li qian does not believe her father is not a murder but at least he is trying to save their marriage and if he find more evidence he might eventually believe ....but what princess did she just broke relation with any emotion ....poor guy even run to palace and save her face in front of grandmother but in return all she is giving him cold shoulder . IF princess father is wrongly accused of being murder , it is a fact that li qian lost his mother and he need time to deal with all the info he have right now and he still not ready to break off the relationship/marriage with princess even when his father forcing him to ...what princess did ..she just ran away because she is angry that Li qian does not believe her ???????
Honestly it feel like dragging it ....like 5 years ago it was like every fl was pregnant but after 5 years only empress gave birth , about other not much progress , their life still similar to life 5 years ago .
Also the whole plot revolve around a weapon book but we all know that technology keep on changing with invention ...so when the book was written it might be resourceful but in span of 20 years lots of things changes and new discoveries happen ...how people are still obsessed with finding a book which might become obsolete in present time of drama ?

I meant he suck poison from Hashi wound ..and yes why it does not affect him at all when the poison was lethal one that can kill someone instantly ...it should have caused some affect on shifu because I am sure its not like shifu suck poison daily from people or a medical expert .
About the emperor, I dont think he is sick or poisoned ...I rather think he is forgetful because he is still in PTSD from the death of his beloved and he often think about her and no wish on living , yet he is somehow alive ...that is the reason he had been so cruel with the princess and his bestie ..

but how he able to drink poison yet nothing happen to him but hashi remain unconscious for days
