Try to read some Novel especially transmigration ones where often FL end up getting into body of one of daughters who is badly treated by noble man (her bio father) and other wives because the bio mother is of low status . It is very common in novels

I was wondering the same . She seems to be smart enough to know where is the line she should not cross. But I think she is too naive , I am sure she is doing all the dress up because of Uncle words .

It not for just for emperor but for other nobles ..they have more than one wives ...but compared to emperor harem , Nobel men harem is quite smaller obviously because of financial limitations

I have a greater hunch which can be very wrong . My hunch is the rein of all these schemers is in hand of some one very close to emperor . I think the emperor little bro is pretending to be dumb but is very evil and he is some how connected with general tang and Su Ming . Now that Su Ming has come out as traitor , it is more than important that all the people under the Su ming to be killed so that the the identity of the person who is holding real reins is not revealed . Hence blood bath .
I think Before drinking the tea , Madam Ju knew it is poisoned , hence she was hesitant for bit but she drink it any way because she know either way she gonna die ...either by Su ming lancky hands or FJ hands , and she choose the easy death .
About not stopping others , well it is revealed that many Su MIng people were working undercover , so their fate was same as Madam ...Hence madam did not stop them . Everyone in Fabric department was connected to spy channel .

He want to erase all the traces that lead to him . Since Fabric Madam was working as a Partner she need to die just like others serving Su Ming and died without revealing any secrets like information on alies or who else involved with Su ming working against the empire

You forgot that the fact that he is cold face guy ...reading emotions on his face is hard .
You might be right but I still lean my thinking towards romantic angle .
Also it may sound like nitpicking but in chinese dramaland ml are often perfect and they are show perfect in what every they do ....so there is no reason for him to take two attempt to give medicine to FH . He should have done his job perfectly in just one go ....

It was moment of spur.
Shifu got the news that she has been capture and might get killed . SO he traveled day and night in order to save her ...and even after that she sustained a heavy injury for him . And it looked like he might have lost FH if salia had not helped with the medicine . So ..he was emotionally very high and any rational mind thoughts pointing on responsibilities have taken a back seat.
So that is why I thought that the first kill was to transfer medicine , in order to save her life but the second one shows his inability to hold himself any longer in that moment ...

We dont know the circumstances under which FH tried to kiss him .
May be situation have changed now since he is back in capital and once again he has been reminded that his family is nothing but puppets of imperial family who lives and die for imperial family and can't have their own desires . He come to his senses that what his heart desires is something that never going to happen ....so when FH kissed him his first reaction was to push her away . This is my interpretation .
As for FH , since she just returned to capital city ...so I guess she doesnot fully know what going on with shifu and in her joy and excitement , she tries to kiss him

As we saw in interview both characters are maturing . Shifu never felt emotion "love" earlier ...he was fully dedicated to his job but slowly FH is breaking that cold stoned face mask of him and entering in his heart ....even he dont know that he has fallen in love with FH .
So I think when FH kissed him underwater , it came as a surprise to him and the unconscious reaction was to push her away ...but as time passes the feeling got deeper and I think right now he hold very strong feelings of "liking" for her .

Yeah I know that but then if then it is also hard to believe 1st kiss was for medicine transfer and second kiss was not ..or both the kisses were medicine transfer ...because there is no way to distinguish them .

But here is the thing ..you transferring a liquid via mouth to mouth ...there is no way to transfer when yours and unconscious person lips are sealed ...and you are just touching the lips.

I agree this is stupid but drama are work of fiction , so I don't mind how people cure each other ...how elements of fantasy is used .

Because she was traitor and Su Ming want to kill his tracks so he killed everyone because the spy network in fabric dept was very strong there were many who were working undercover for su ming . And yes it was Poison affect that the poor girl went blind . She did not die because she consumed very little tea ...but enough to make permanent injury on her
