The last 2 episodes were confusing for me . We do get why Tilan did what she did . She did to save her homeland but I am still baffled at emperor, he hates her then why he making her suffer with him every night. And I find it super weird that after doing all this he falls for Tilan because he did crossed the line .
About Zhao ling , I am really curious about his mystery , Him here in capital city while twin at the desert and he seems to know it but still want to remain tight lipped about it ...I am all confused by his mystery . On side note I am really happy that finally his relationship is progressing with Zhe liu .
FH is so cute around Shifu and shifu enjoys it too ...his puppy eyes for FH i says it all.
Leaving court people just to go and watch moon with FH, taking time off to visit FH hometown because FH misses mum , even if emperor turning in tomato face for his impromptu leave when he still has big Su ming issue at hand , he is getting sweeter day by say. I dont want this sweet relationship turn sour .
About the village, the cgi was really bad , I almost saw doc levitating in air , as I can't see any wooden poles supporting it underneath ...it was eye sore . But I did enjoy shifu - little question answer session , Mum offering shifu that is good for "man"..it was hilarious . But i dont get the kidnapping part . How do Su Ming lackeys know FH going to meet mom , and if they were following FH , they must have know shifu travelling with her ..so they should not plan any attack . But it seems that there dumb brain works better , they did kidnap her mum and took her to cliff (I dont get why they have to take her to cliff , they could very well take her to a house or some building)....FH come to save mum but feel dizzy , so blind fold herself (I wonder how it works ...I mean how blinding helps with dizzy ness? ) Then we have fight scene , and I felt it super weird ...shifu does not even draw out the sword out the cover yet he able to kill , while FH looked like performing aerial sword dance than killing enemies . Than we got to underwater scene (okay so we all saw FH drowning , what about the poor soul who also drown with FH ..was he was too heavy that as soon he touched the water he went all the way down in depth of the sea ..leaving FH drowning alone ?). I still confused by mermaid part but I guess we will be revealed about it soon . ..I like how shifu tries to please FH mother by going to sea to catch crabs only to make fool out of himself..cute moment !
I am not really buying Ji chang wetting the pants stunt . ALso I feel calling back royal family is bad idea , even if some might be innocent ...some of the relatives might be resenting the emperor over the years for sending them away ...so some of them might be revengeful .
Also I do thing that general tang has feelings for Tilan but I dont thing tilan have same feelings for him . So I fear Generall will pair up with 4th prince to save tilan from emperor ..
Also we getting new character soon , it will be interesting to watch .

We entirely not sure who wrote the poem , all we know that shifu made FH learn that poem .

I say it is bad fate for both emperor and FH

Every one have their own point of view on this aspect. When I first read summary of this drama, I also felt weird ..because it look so weird that a person who us old enough to command secret forces saves a girl , train under him and eventually fall in love with her ...it was odd . It give me more vibe a father -daughter relationship then lovers .
But the casting weed out those some of that , like they have cleverly reduced the age gap ...so lover part is more believable . Also as the two maturing , and developing feeling , I am also in the troop that want them to end them together because they both care about each deeply more than like a master - discipline relationship.

I do understand the contraceptive part but doesnot explain the actions on tilan part..
I don't get the part, to save her homeland she have scrafice hurself ....and honestly if some one tell me that emperor have fallen for tilan and tilan should fall for emperor , it will sound disgusting .
Also the whole thing , who gave the medicine ...what kind of medicine it is ...really weird questions to ask especially when you are depressed.
At this moment I don't have pity for her because this is her choice ...

But I have grown seed of suspicion for Tilan as well. She clearly not happy with her life with emperor yet she keep enduring it even at the cost of her life for what ????
Also why her body is against contraceptive ? Why she have to careful what going into her body? Why she was eying the medicine that way ?

About emperor , I think he is lost cause .

But it was super comedic , how she killed the guy with a brush ...its impossible no matter how you think !
I am still unable to understand the mermaid situation . All I can conjure that mermaid will come when ever she is facing danger in sea but I dont know why ...some one pls enlighten me

Everyone grows out and I think ZY and FH bro relationship will cut short almost to no scene when emperor came to realization that FH is girl.

Yes , Now I am more suspicious of him . He even convinced emperor to call back the abandoned royal clan, I think it is also related to his scheme some how .
There is no way that a prince can be so dumb and smart at the same time to convince the emperor. And I slowly think FJ is right , they need to replace the king because he is obviously not stable . He is great no doubt but he is all lonely at the same time which prompt him to make rash decisions like - Handover spy channel to almost a blind woman when you have a perfectly capable friend , getting emotional because you have a brother who act dumb and call back the members he discarded years ago for safeguard ....

its your choice but you should be happy with the journey rather than the end result .

Nice theory

You said lot of insightful things about the drama and I agree with them .
FH falling for Shifu is understandable and I like how this phase is not rushed but we rather looking how slowly the two are changing because of affectionate feeling .
I also get why Shifu falls for her and why he is keep pushing away , also the dream sequence made it quite clear about his desires ...and he himself know that haishi for him have grown into something that he want to cherish for long time . I am enjoying this phase and I dont want them to part . It will be too cruel .
About the 2nd pairing , I have my own reservations. Till now emperor keep testing Tilan limit of endurance and patience but I fear that Tilan might had enough If emperor does not stop .
Every person have their own level of endurance and I dont want Tilan to turn into a dark person . I like the way she is ..
I highly suspect that 4th prince , general tang and Su ming is colluding ...and general tang and 4th prince seems to be closer because they have spent long time together away from capital .

Yes the Longest day in Chang"an . the mystery part is very done .
And drama itself gives the Authentic Chinese Vibe .
It is more or less like western drama 24 where ML have to fight the deadline given by the villain in order to save the lives and to find out who is actual villain . The Best part is the villain have justifiable reasons to be a villain. They Villain are not made out in one day ..like shown in many cdramas but they were created because the circumstances they suffered for long time .
Yes I really like this drama because it is politically heavy and needed to be watched at the slow pace
