We already seen that drama has made changes from the actual novel ...because the casting have narrowed the age gap , the Ml still have chances to continue his lineage ..., so I hope the they change Tilan part for better

The main villain of this drama is the circumstances , Half of the issue crop up from the fact that fang family is serving as Baixi to royal heirs ...had that not been the case , I doubt that Shifu even want to plot revenge on him ...
But I still find Tilan too weak to become a strong villain that keep getting on other people nerve

I have like him On and off. Like when he put lanterns in pond of tilan for moon festival , I like him ...watched that his heart getting softer towards Tilan . Same goes when he take care of little rabbit knowing that he shut the owner in south place ...at those moments I watched him positively but other those he is psycho

I doubt it that we getting any sequels or something .
I have lost any hope of HE ...but yeah if it end on bittersweet note and give a proper closer to everything , I dont mind watching it .
Something similar along the line of Nirvana in fire where we knew from early on that the fate of ML is not gonna change , and it happens exactly the way it expected but at least the series able to provide him a proper closer .

Zisan was expecting but she died ,so she was replaced with her sister ...so I do get that father is greedy enough to pressurize tilan to sleep with emperor and have kids with him for sake of political relationship and emperor hated that idea .
But I don't think Tilan wore that dress thinking that she difinately get a chance to have sex with emperor , more like she expected on spot death blow ...and yes I think she did what she did under pressure and she is not cunning but rather more like victim

Yes there high chances that the story progress differently but we saw the preview , tilan did drink the medicine . Even after that she got pregnant ....then the only reason I can think of that happening that enuch did not give the correct medicine intentionally ...and thats very scary thing .

Tilan in drama do look like naive and victim .
If she turned out to be cunning ....I will be surprised !

He has his reason for being pscyo . And I have worse people given chance of redemption .
So I still want to hold a candle of hope for emperor ...but I also know how the drama going to work out ,so no redemption .
But just saying he is not all bad guy. He is just the victims of circumstances that made him bad .

It happens in every industry and I have seen few korean dramas where a 30 year old are made to wear high school uniform , for their school year flashback ...
And honestly I find it believable .
So you if you want to say yang mi stick to the role that display her real age .....never gonna happen.
About the logics , this drama have better logic as compared to many other cdrama I have watch this year.
About Fabric dept, she definately got the wiff that the tea was poisoned ...her hesitation said all but she more or less knew her fate and people working under her ...so she choose an easy death ...drinking poisoned tea

No ...in longest day they were hiding in plain sight , directly working under male lead yet anyone did not suspect then until the very end , they covered their tracks with such a perfection !
