Yeah there are some inconsistencies. My personal thought is that since the dad wanted one son to fix the tree, he felt that after it was done he didn't need Youqin anymore and believed they would have nothing to worry about. Besides he have a spare son who he can torture next and make Qingheng pick up the slack.

It surprised me because in episode 29 when he was talking to Youqin the emperor basically made it sound like the immortal realm only had peace because of Youqin. So what does that leave the emperor to do? Nothing xD

I did read your second comment, which you wrote after the first one..............My point is in your first comment you wrote that you get pissed by the way they talk, act "weak" or cry. That in itself can be taken as that you don't like the way an actor talks. Obviously you and me disagree. Life goes on.
