I find it quite funny that even though Bai Chou Fei is wearing white and there blood flowing everywhere as he kills people he manged to stay clean. That would be a very handy skill.

Yeah I know about the boxes. I found it really funny in TLB when they put Lusi on a box so they could get the hug with her and LYN and still have her face showing over his shoulder. The guys are all quite tall then.

Is it just me or are the male actors and the ladies quite tall? LYN is really tall but he does not seem to tower over everyone else.

Episode 39 is mostly war scenes in different parts. That episode ends with Han Pu sacrificing himself to save BFX and he dies at the start of episode 40. Shortly after this there is another battle where BFX is almost killed and Lanxi brings her to an old master who has a life transferring technique. Lanxi gives most of his life to save her and end up with just 10 years left to live which is why he has white hair.

I don't think it dragged towards the end to be honest. I actually like it since there were more scenes where BFX was involved in more important stuff and not just randomly getting attacked in the street xD I agree that the chemistry is great.

Well to be honest some dramas you want to like because they seem to have the things you usually like. For me it really depends on my mood if I can watch a drama from Asia tbh, sometimes even though I like the plot I just put it on hold for awhile until I feel like I can get into it again.

The politics are more prominent in the first half of the drama, so after 21 there is more interesting stuff happening outside Yongzhou imo. So it depends on if you feel like sticking it out a few more episodes or no. But it is okay not to want to finish this as well :)

The romance is slow burn and it's more cute moments and hand holding, compared to lots of kisses. Most of the people in the comment field has said that they think the chemistry between our leads is great, though there are some nay sayers about that. No l real love triangles which was a breath of fresh air. And the ending well I would say it's happy, but that can be discussed further from person to person.

I am a bit late. I watched the first episodes and my first thoughts are only this. The color scale is nice and Liu Yu Ning is cool with long hair.
